Any suggestions or idea of the alternative coins with much potential to invest in?

I have 3 altcoin lists that are good for investment in 2018, namely ripple (XRP), EOS, and Stellar (XLM). at this time the three coins also dropped, but looking at the chart, there was a few percent increase that made it potential this year.

I would suggest you to invest in privcy coin I have a feeling that this coin will be huge this year they have lots developments on their project and many activities on their discord server and this is not an ico its a anonymous coin that have its own blockchain.

I would suggest you to spend time analyzing on your own and decide up few coins. Get into coinmarketcap.com. Every option you require to choose the best coins are available at your convenience. Filter out the coins as per the growth trend and marketcap with values. Decide upon the capital you wish to invest in. I would suggest you to choose few best coins with cheapest rates and with best growth trend. Keep watching the trend for a week or so. If you once do this, then you will not need an advice on best coins from anyone else. Develop such skills you have in you. .

I would suggest taking all the money you think you are "investing" in altcoins and burning it in a big pile. You will still lose all your money, but it will also keep you warm for a few minutes.

I invested a portion of my funds in that coin and I keep the rest in Bitcoin and ETH.  I like to go for the low cap coins since the possible returns are much higher which makes investing a lot more exciting.

The best alts to invest in for a long term investment are Ethereum, Litecoin. These coins have shown great stability during this dip.
Ethereum being the second most popular crypto can be used as a platform for posting new ICOs. Also, its idea of smart and ledger contracts which can hold state and arbitrary code is great.
Litecoin since adoption by Coinbase, has shown great development in its market capital and has the potential to cross the $400 mark by the end of 2018. These are great coins and you can expect good profit returns from them.

Altcoins are as much as beneficial like bitcoin. And their investment is also an profitable deal. Many big multinational companies start accepting alternative coin for their multiple business purposes and this thing ultimately helo to increase altcoins price and this increase price thing help people to invest in it. In my personal experience Ethereum is one of the suitable altcoins for investment. Ethereum is most stable coin among all and which help investors to invest in altcoins as long-term purposes.

I agree that xlm and xrp coins in my opinion are good, I have had many profits ... buy when the price is low and sell when I get profit

There are more than  100 altcoins to invest now especially now that there price is extremely cheap. I think ethereum, wave, neo, stratis, litecoin are some of the coins you can invest now and makes serious profit in future when bitcoin started to recover.  Bitcoin always pull most of this altcoins when ever it get bullish.

I would advise you Stellar EOS and Ripple. But also don't forget about Ethereum.In my opinion, he will remain in the second position after bitcoin.In general, your own analysis of coins will be the best solution.All the coins I have listed are my own opinion.So it is better to get acquainted with the coins and make an independent decision before investing.

If you are looking for a good altcoin, why not start from ethereum first? Because in my opinion the altcoin that dominates is ethereum. And surely ethereum will grow because it is always used for current transactions. Maybe at the end of the year the price will to the moon? :)

When will the rise in prices I think that you can buy any cryptocurrency from the top 20 and they will show themselves well ! And it is best to distribute your Deposit between them !

EOS shouldn't be in this list as it's not in the league of less than $1 coins. That being said, XRP, Stellar & STQ will make my list of alts to invest in 2018. XRP has some news around it than will trigger the price should they materialize.

Right now im will invest with XRP, XMR and XLM, ripple landed atbthe number two spot several times during the waves of pump and dumps making in very competitive, while xmr and xlm performed quite well and moon great on it previous year. Not to mention the value is still not bad to get in.

The only good thing in investing into sub $1 coins is because all the noobs think it's cheap, so there might be more demand when the market turns around and people without any clue come back investing. It's not the price that makes the coin cheap, it's the dollar value : total supply ratio.

I observe and observe that investors in 2018 are more interested in investing in altcoins than bitcoin. Good day! At present I bought ETN, TRX and Universa. Universa and ETN is still cheap and may take time for its value to go up coz its still on developments. Its a long term hold for me. IMT I also have but this coin is still a baby and needs to prove its worth for now. May I recommend Scavo too. Ethereum is still a good buy at this moment and if you are looking for coins, DASH is a good one now and Monero as well.

I can say that Litecoin was very cheap and has lessen a lot on its price. Just look for those coins that are very much talked by the community except those centralized ones. There are many of them but my one way of choosing beside of the potential, oldies but goodies with good community.

For get big profits, it becomes a good opportunity that buying when low prices will make us successful and rich, I am sure that the market will soon improve so we get big profits.

There are many of them that are no longer making any noise and has been totally forgotten because of the emerging market for new altcoins. But if you have been here for quite awhile you'll see some precious gem and is worth to hold. I'm not saying that go for the old altcoins but that's just one of my preference and I think they will also find a gem with those old ones. Like the pump that happened to Doge, it's one of the oldies that I'm talking.

I think that at the moment the most promising altcoins are Coinvet, Fusion, Refereum. In my opinion, these altcoins have a great future.

Doge is an exception though its been labeled and created as a meme coin but the community loves it. People have different approach for that coin but the other ones, we have our own way of expressing on how good or bad they are.

If you'll look at the preference of others you will read unfamiliar coins. Good luck in choosing altcoins but if you still don't have BTC, get it first.

I think that all the coins are good depending on confidence and patience. The situation is very bad and has decreased and we must be able to take advantage of the opportunities that are obtained to gain profit.

i suggest XRP,EOS,and ETH if you're planning to invest right now.  wherin had already good  performance on this year and probably has tends to recover again along with bitcoin . It was difficult to find a subcoin with a serious potential in this period, unfortunately, there are projects we hope to be, but it is difficult to get out after a working-functioning product in the middle. There are many subcoins such as holochain, hydro, neo, eos, which can be looked at.

I think it is possible for new coins that you believe still do not provide maximum results and convince investors. but believe if the old coins like eos and neo that you mentioned will be the best coins for investment in 2018 besides ethereum.

Currently there are quiet a few alcoins that ar safe to invest. They are Iota, Elastos, BAT, Enjin, Elixir, BNB and last but not the least, Dent.

My all time favorite coins are Bitcoin and Ethereum. The two best potential and trustworthy coins to invest in.  I would also advice you to invest in the below coins and tokens to have a good turn over down the line in long term investment.

By far the best altcoin that I have invested in is Ethereum. The coin has provided with hugh profit gains in the past. Last year its profit percentage was 3700% and with a market capital of $51 billion, the coin still grows strong in the market. I know that the altcoin will be a success by following its statistics in the past and also whether the coin is getting mainstream acceptance or not. Also, I look for the new features that make the alt much better than the other coins and whether its commercial in the market or not.

I agree with you because the value of this 5 coin is really very low and the investment this time can help you get the best profit. I believe that all will soon rise again because Q4 2018 will be a very good time for people to come back to this market and soon make a good profit.

Investment in Ethereum is a good decision as the price is down but I don't think ICO is a good option to invest you funds because it is very risky now a days to invest in an ICO. It is also very difficult to pick a potential ICO. So I suggest you not to invest in ICO chose some other alts like XRP etc. for investment.

In that GENX is a very new coin and not listed on CMC but I think it has the potential to invest, the current price is very low.

Almost every altcoin have potentials but the things most altcoin which don't yield any profit for it investors lack is utility to survive the cryptocurrency market and stability of securing investors profit during the market dump in price which KARATCOIN (https://karatcoin.co) had and I believed the coin has what newbie and experienced cryptonier needed. my suggestion might be to choose Crypto Waves Litecoin and Dogecoin because the price is quite stable in the market, it rises a little and falls a little so it can be for short-term investments, in my opinion per day getting 1% profit is enough hehe..lol

I would always prefer Ethereum is the best altcoin to invest in this year. Due to its smart contract technology many ico's are opened based on Ethereum. It is the promising coins in the market so the price will have increase in future. Other altcoins such as neo, ripple and waves are also good growing coins in the coinmarketcap. All altcoins price are low invest now and hold it, the value will increase in near future.

Many coins appear but not all of them have potential, so this altcoin has its own criteria so that it is easy to understand and learn then decide to invest.
Many have suggested eth, Eos, neo ripple or top 10 in the coinmarketcap, a self-determination that will decide this.

only top-5? I think that you should widen this list. Some people work with the top-10 or top-20 altcoins, but I know that the other tokens can give you the profit as well. I like Ox and Lisk, for example.
