Post by: Agarthian on October 03, 2018, 09:19:55 AM
anyone know any exchanges like bitstamp itbit coinbase xapo  which allow you to buy bitcoin using credit cards or paypal at a good rate ?

Credit cards and PayPal are risky, stolen cards or charge back can happen, that's why it's more expensive to buy Bitcoin with credit card.
If you want to go cheap(er), you should go with bank transfer.

Unfortunately in my country bank transfer is same rate as buying through credit card via cex.

International transfers can be expensive in some cases/countries indeed. But there's no exchange at all in your own country? Then maybe you can find somebody on localbitcoins you can trade with?

As I said... in my country the lbc and bank transfer price is same as buying via cc on cex.

Surely there is a local exchange in your country? I am from a country that bitcoin is not yet widely known yet we have a local exchange that allows us to buy via different payment methods available to us including bank transfers with minimal fees.
May I ask where you are from?

For purchasing via paypal, I can not suggest any site that I know with much lower fees than the ones you have already tried but you can try if someone will be interested in exchanging with you here in the forum. Here's the Currency Exchange (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0) board.
Since You are a newbie and with no trades yet, It'll be hard for you to get a trade considering paypal is very risky.

No one will trade with you for buying btc with paypal because refund button is available for 180 days, it's risky.
As far as I know (heared from my friend) Spectrocoin has good exchange rates, they have both, virtual and plastic card.
On another hand you can buy bitcoin with credit card on cex.io (see rates).
Attention! Never buy on buy.bitcoin.com they will try to sell bitcoin cash or offer worse rates for bitcoin in this world.

You're about the site you mentioned which offer worse rate, for Spectro coin I'm not aware of their rate cause I don't want to try their service due to the accusations said about them acouple of years back and the OP seems not to like CEX rate. However, the best option the OP have now is to use localbitcoin.

OP can go to Bitgift to purchase bitcoin with a credit card, but he will be limited to 25€ without KYC verification. Basically, you buy a bitcoin gift card and transfer to your wallet. But without your ID verification, the limit is very low

You'll get much more useful answers if you tell us what country you're in.

If you're in the EU then Wirex will be the cheapest option to buy with a credit/debit card. They may expand further but it doesn't look like it for now.

Bitstamp charge a 5% premium, plus card issuer fees which may be another 1.5-2.5%, and they cover a lot of countries. Regardless, you'll always wind up paying more. There's far more risk for the retailer.

The exchange that accept multiple buying methods is livecoin.net, it has many more interesting feature which you can know about entering the website.
Livecoin is an exchange having large community in very shot time and very popular in market.
You can give it a try, even it allows you to trade without being KYC verified

No one is going to do this with you. 1:1 is not going to happen, that's the harsh truth.

You already listed all the exchanges which have good rates, however, expect to be asked verification documents before you even start a transaction.

If you trade P2P with credit cards or paypal, you're going to incur a huge fee, at least 10% if you aren't able to provide the necessarily KYC documents. At your last resort, trade P2P on a platform like LBC. If you do have KYC docs, then just simply use Coinbase, Xapo, etc. which accepts credit card/paypal deposits.
