Bitcoin has had rises and falls but the price is still half to how it started on January 1st. The price of bitcoin on Jan 1st 2018 was above 13K while the price now is around 6.5K. And it would take another similar bull run for it to reach the price.
For a day trader, this fluctuations are very helpful in accumulating profits. The bitcoin price trend on short term is getting more and more predictable.

I think that by the end of this year Bitcoin will be around 6000 - 7000 $. It seems to me that global changes may occur early next year.

Bitcoin this year has declined relatively unstable and has remained at a price of $ 6000, making the price of the altcoin dropped. in terms of quality bitcoin is undoubtedly possible because many factors cause the failure of the ICO project to become an altcoin instability. I hope that by the end of this year it will rise high.

I hope bitcoin can reach at least more than $10k, in this year bitcoin already down untill $5k area, then it showing that chart will reversal. I don't care about shit news, I know that news can make some people sold their btc so cheap.

Lately after observing the latest market trend
I have come to conclude that bitcoin has chosen 6500$ as its permanent cost
Because once the price soar towards 7k$
It goes back down to 6500$

Of course not. This year it seems to me that the price of Bitcoin can reach a maximum of 10,000 - 11,000 dollars, and then it will be a pretty good result. Now I'm only counting on next year.

I am personally of the view that bitcoin can grow as high as 16k by december this year, this is my own analysis, i may be right or wrong.

The atmosphere of bullish price not found yet compare to what has happened years back. For those expecting Bitcoin price to soar higher this year might just be effort wasted, from the start of this year to were we are right now, bitcoin price has not really appreciate unlike what we hard last year.

There a lot of marks to cross, $7000 is for now the most important. At this time of the year, If it crosses that price, It could end at $10000-$12000. Another speculation came out that its been spread on social media's about bitcoin hitting $50,000. I'm a bitcoin enthusiast but so far, I think that won't happen.

I have been saying that the year 2018 is bad for cryptocurrency as it is the year of regulations. By the start of the year 2019, cryptocurrency will start booming. The market is already recovering after a long spell of depression. Prices of coins are rising. I think that ethereum is the only good and best coin to invest. So hurry up.

for this year's many developments that show progress on Bitcoin. It is capable of giving an advantage by having the Bitcoin and count on it as the main future coins that yield more profits. so I'm more confident to rely on Bitcoin on this year as well as support for the progress of its development.

I think bitcoin is very low this year and everyone thinks it's the end of bitcoin. and many people get losses not profits. bitcoin is experiencing a lot of decline, but next year we hope.

My thoughts about bitcoin price in this last months of the year, it is stable as it is. It will increase its price by positive percentage, and also it will decrease its price to a negative percentage, but quite stable in such way its on $6,500 . Not exceeding $7000 and not also slipping down to $6000.

Actually none of us can't know what will happen in the bitcoin but ıf you wanna want to learn my opininon, I reallly believe that bitcoin will come again old position. I know that it is rally hard in this market but this technology is really important in all humanity.

We are all waiting for the December bull run. The whole 2018, the market was red, except a few days, and people are tired of this. Bitcoin will bounce back and achieve new price records, but unfortunately, nobody knows when it is going to happen.

The performance of this year's Bitcoin may be disappointing to many people because its price has fallen by more than 50% and there has been no recovery!

I am not sure that this year bitcoin can show good growth. Such a long flat can last for more than one year, until 2020. It is in 2020, according to many analysts bitcoin will update its highs and will cost about 45 thousand dollars. Why 2020, there are several important reasons for this:

1. The number of coins is limited, and by 2020 the mining of this cryptocurrency will come to an end.
2. BTC mining is becoming more and more difficult, today there are about 6 coins per block, and it is difficult to solve problems even for professional farms.
3. It is planned to create thousands of large projects by 2020, which will make BTC real money with the possibility of quick payment.
4. Business is now beginning to master cryptocurrencies for payments at the international level, and in 2 years this trend will make the cue ball more valuable.
5. Only within 1 year investor confidence in BTC and other coins will return to the previous level after a strong fall in December 2017.

Bitcoin is the most recognize and the number one cryptocurrency. We had seen its highest price last year that was nearly $20,000. Though this year, it had fallen below $6,000. But, for more than one month its value stabilizing at 6,500. Most likely based on the things that happened this year, it will not be as high as last year. $10,000 is already a climb to the mountain.

In my opinion, bitcoin this year is still quite expensive compared to any cryptocurrency and I believe it will increased big when the time that the crypto market recovers. Also, I think that no other cryptocurrency will surpass the very strong bitcoin.

With regards to the btc market within the year, my opinion to this is that btc had have a tough ride this year where it had experienced high increase and a very low decline in the market and now stabilizing at $6.5K level. I believe that for those investors investing btc, long term investment is necessary where it really takes longer months or even a year to appreciate the market trend and hopefully most of the people are hoping btc to hit the bull market in the last remaining 2 months of 2018.

bitcoin is now in a position value is stable enough. until the end of the year later I don't think there will be a considerable increase in the bitcoin. Although a lot of that hope and even speculated it would be able to match the value as last year if you look at current conditions would certainly be difficult to be in the same condition.

Bitcoin community solves the problem of scalability: in September, the number of Lightning channels in the Bitcoin network exceeded 12,000, and the amount of funds transferred through them reached 112 BTC. And this is only the beginning.
If the problem of scalability will be solved, bitcoin will probably make new records next year.
Now Bitcoin is at the bottom and from this price range it will start accumulating and by the end of the year I predict a price around $ 8,000 - 10 000. Next year, gradual growth will lead to the next pump.

Though hope still there but we are witnessing the slow movement of the market, we still have more or less 3 months of holding and waiting patiently for the value to rise up, there's still potentials and many possible things can happen around the crypto world, lets just hold and hope for the best before the this year will end.

       Yes it could be very difficult to predict its price because for the fast several months , the price is going up and down but historically its have been a bullish market last year and it was started at the fourth quarter until year end and its still have enough time to recover its highest price which is $19500 .

Many users here are saying that bitcoin will recover in the last quarter of this year 2018, but I stiil don't see any progress and 2018 will be going to end already, I hope it can still recover soon..

Bitcoin hasn't really been great this year  to  be very honest. A lot of us had high hopes in the coin and believed that we could achieve so much with it this year, but our expectations haven't been met, and it is almost the end of the year already. It is sad that we had to watch the coin suffer this much this year. I'm hoping everything will fall back into place next year, and we will see a bull trend again.

Bitcoin is going through hard times in 2018. The entire crypto market did not receive in 2018 good support from investors. Interest in bitcoin will return if investors create a rush to buy bitcoin before the start of 2019. Otherwise, the 6500 will drag on.

IMHO we will see long flat on BTC. Such a huge consolidation phase. Price will be between borders something like 5800-7000.

Bitcoin will most likely not undertake a price increase by the end of the year, it will float 6500-7000 US dollars. However, my opinion is that in order to raise the crypto market, investors should stimulate Bitcoin with their investments. He will be pulled up and the whole crypto market.

I doubt bitcoin will recover back to the previous price level compared to this time around last year and reach another ATH. The market is bearish atm and it seems that the investors are still burnt out with the recent continuous bad news that affects the price negatively.

As we can see at the graph using technical analysis bitcoin has positive scenario. I think that till the end of the year we will some recovery of the past correction.

I think you can read from other discussions about what you think. and regarding its growth there will be no bullrun this year, especially for bitcoin, but I believe that growth will always be there but your nature is temporary. well that's why you have to have a way to be able to continue to benefit even though this situation.

I do not see bitcoin increasing beyond it's market price,  bitcoin has manage to maintain it's price between $6000 to $8000. However,  from next year, I expect momentum in price and this momentum will peak towards bitcoin halving in 2020!

As we can see, this year no predictions come true, although there is a lot of talk about the restoration of the market and the price of Bitcoin. This proves that you do not need to rely on these experts and make decisions based on their opinions.

The bitcoin price this year would not surpass that of last. The bear market this year has been dragging on for too long and there is no news we are expecting to pull up the prices.  All the bitcoin etfs that have been rejected how many times year is adding to the doom and gloom of the markets. I'm actually scared it might hit below 5k before we actually see any real growth.

It seems like what happened on 2014 already repeated itself where Bitcoin drops the price on over -50%. If we don't see a bull sign before the month of October ends, I might say that Bitcoin will only play its price between $5600 to $6500. This year is not a great year for Bitcoin and we just have to keep look forward for a better result by next year. This year it seems to be tougher one for Bitcoin because of its value is not going more than $6500 from past 1 month. If this is the case then we cannot expect bitcoin will increase or go more than 10K since we are very close to end of this year and not seen good positive impact on Bitcoin. Let's wait and hope for the best for Bitcoin!!

This year goes bad for bitcoin and i think bitcoin price is low now  and  we have 2 months for end of this year . My idea is  there is a hope for bitcoin for this year why i can say that ?  when i  check history of bitcoin price for last 2 months i can see that . 

I doubt that it will surpass the all time high last year which is around 20k but I believe that there will be an uptrend from now on or at least until December to January just like last year. BTC is still a very valuable piece of asset in the crypto space and all other coins will evolved around it.

Bitcoin prices for this year I feel the current bitcoin circulation is the same as the bitcoin price movement in 2014 to 2015, bitcoin prices this year tend to fall the same as this year, so this year I think bitcoin prices will be very difficult to rise.

Actually since ber month start and market didn't show a sign of progress i had doubts market will not stabilized until year end  , which is reason i preferred to obtain quick profits rather than holding long term.  'cause i know it's very risky.  And i know much better to hold on year 2019 which is surely market growth rate will rocketed again .  'cause honestly  for me it is like alternate circumstances which is Interval before growing again.

I'm expecting no all-time-high this year. Yeah, its very hard to swallow because majority of us wanted to see a higher price, but sadly it won't happen as the bears took over the market in 2018 and will likely not giving it up at the end of the year. It won't happen because investors are not willing to pour money because they're getting smarter. Smarter investor doesn't just shell out money without getting any decent returns. Every year their will be huge raise in the price of bitcoin and good potential altcoin.My expectation in the price of bitcoin is 13,000$ maximum. Because now the price of bitcoin is often fluctuating and moves to new low value.It may be favour to the people who like to buy. But it's not a favour for seller or seller who brought at high price.

The prices were reached the bottom level this year so there will be no more price drop below $6000 but also there is not much further movement from that bottom level for long period so the prices will e hard to mark $9000 even by end of this year.

The bitcoin price has fallen and up for the past months but did not pass through yet the price from last year. The value did not show any signs these days to continue to increase rather still low. Bitcoin price is really unpredictable maybe it will not back to original price or possibly the recovery phase of bitcoin is next year. If people keep this interest up high for bitcoin and crypto in general there is no reason why the bull won't be around the corner. Thankfully these drops showed us that the market is not high on volume these days which means when someone sells a lot of crypto the price drops which is bad however the good side if anyone purchases bitcoin in bulk we will see a huge increase in price.

Never trust the experts or analyst in this tough situation. The safest zone from my point of view is to hold coins, I agree that ups and downs are part of trading but currently it looks ridiculous. Still believing it will gear up and bounce back with a bang.

Sometimes experts reach a bit in the direction they predict but not always like that,the market value is very difficult to read right only the trend at that time that will grow value.I believe this will not fall hard but if that happens there will be an increase in demand at the market.

This year's Bitcoin has disappointed many investors, including myself. bitcoin prices are far from what is expected, maybe next year investors will not believe the predictions of experts.

I would not expect something big this year as well considering the fact that the bears may still want to have one last chance and however the market tend to do its thing, we will just have to use the trend to judge the situation of things. We cannot really tell much, as there could still be a possibility of a little increase upward as the case may be, which is something that would obviously be glaring based on how bitcoin eventually breaks out. If we break out upward, I still may not however see much chance of seeing us go above $10000 before the end of this year somehow.

Yes in my opinion too, we must get ready to leave off this 2018 as it is and must be prepared for facing the next year. Like most people speculate there could be a chances of new ATH there but nothing is assured and preparing well for anything is the only option we do have all the times.

Bitcoin has disappointed us a bit this year. Many enthusiasts have set themselves unimaginable goals for this year, and the year is coming to an end and the goals are not fulfilled.

I won't say bitcoin has disappointed us because price manipulation was involved in last ATH and if such cases happened like that market correction should be expected the following year. Yes, these years have been disappointing for those who blindly believed in all the predictions, that the price of Bitcoin will rise steadily and will be getting new records on every month. Of course it is not so bad, I believe that Bitcoin will go high, but it takes a lot of time for this. So those who complain about a bad year have only one choice - holding.

This year was too bad for bitcoin so far and according to the current situation of the market it seems that the price will not increase without big investment. people say that the price will bump again like the previous year but the difference is that, in the previous year demand was very high and in this year people are not satisfied from bitcoin investment and they are not interested anymore.

I have not see any reason why bitcoin should revert to it beginning price and also I don't think bitcoin is going to go down further.  I strongly believe that it is going to recover and makes another positive movements in some days and weeks to come as we are coming close to the end of the year.

I also admit that $6000 is the bottom price for bitcoin because it is the minimum price for bitcoin miners that they can earn little bit profit. If the price drops more miners will stop mining because of no profit and just wasting time and money. As the people predicted about 2018 in the previous year the situation is completely different from that, and that is the reason that now I don’t believe in any predictions.

Looking into the crypto currency news updates, there is high tendency of having a pump by the end of the year.
There has been stringent control of the market price since January, I think in other to prevent inflation, and avoid over accumulation of acquired coin.
