Title: Crypto coaching/backing
Post by: kamikagomi on October 03, 2018, 02:16:04 PM
How can I learn to trade crypto and get funded?
I used to be a high stake online poker pro, I started in a small firm that teaches me how to play and gave me some funds (we've been splitting the profit I made). Coaching/backing is a common thing in poker. What about crypto?
Curious, are there any traders who can be interested in that type of deal.

I can definitely say that you need to look for your customers on this forum, in the section trading or gambling, etc.
I attach links to the sections where you can find like-minded people.

So my advice to you is to write e-mails to administrators of large online casinos and poker. I'll link to the big list is also attached.

there are many so called masters, but in real, imo it is better to study by yourself as this market is full of fake masters and cheaters, as is the same
if you still want to find a teacher, better to make a strong agreement and work through escrow

There are many crypto coachs or trading master who wants to teach trading but they required a fee for lessons, which I think is not good. There are so many threads in this forum that will teach you how to trade and you can also ask people in this forum if you are confused in some things. The only thing you need to is read.

So you're asking for someone to teach you how to trade AND give you the money to trade? There are no coaches who would do such thing. But if you want to fill the niche and start your business based on such model - sign me up.

There is zero logic into funding trader that has same or lower level of knowledge than yourself. Your profits depend on how much money you put in, not by how many traders are involved.

I don't even buy your poker funding story. Sponsorships are common (if you're good), but I call bullshit on you starting off with "firm" funding you.

You want someone to coach you so you can monetize the lessons that you've learned?

Well in crypto it's different, most of the people that are offering coaching (signals) are mostly pump and dump signals which turns out to be a scam. If you are a tech-savvy, you can find most of those lessons online for free but its not enough until you experience the real thing.

I don't get it. Either you know how to turn profit so you will do it with your own money and not share profit with anyone or you don't know how to turn profit so why would anyone give you their money for you to loose it while learning?
Where is common sense here? You sign contract for a 10 years whatever you will trade in that time u give company 50% of your profits anyway? Then they give you  some small money to start ?!

Let's say what you said is true, isn't it risky to do that? Basically, you're using someone else money to trade, or in another word, you got a loan from them. There is no one who would give you their money for free, they'll ask for collateral. You can't simply hide behind disclaimers in this case.

Use your own money which you can afford to lose to trade. That's the most basic thing in trading/investing, isn't it?

trading crypto is easy. If you have experience trading in any stocks exchange you may think it to be similar in that way, if not then it goes like this, first you have to go to crypto exchange, create an account and make sure to verify the account before funding it with BTC, some exchange do not allow withdrawals from their platform if your account is not verified. I f you have your account verified, go fund it with BTC then start buying and selling

You're not going to find any deal of that sort here. There are close to no fundamentals to teach so there's no reason for people to look for others who have potentially better judgement.

You shouldn't need any funding either, considering the extremely low barrier of entry for trading. A few bucks for experience should be able to take you a long way as it's very unlikely for all of your holdings to drop to zero.

Its a different world in trading crypto though. Perhaps others doesn't want to share their 'secrets', however, everything here is an open book so no need to get someone to mentor you. If you wanted to get your hands dirty then I suggest you deposit a small capital and learn by yourself. I would say that majority of us went to this route (at least in my case) and I have to learn everything the hard way.
