Just wanted to chat about the fight a little bit. What did everyone think? Khabib's gameplan was executed perfectly - he won the stand-up exchange and the groundwork really. Was that the best Conor McGregor in the octagon? Does it settle the grappling vs striking question?

Khabib clearly dominated the fight, he do it in action unlike McGregor who's very noisy.
The game ended like I expected, it was a great fight for the Khabib fans, like me of course and although he is the favorite, I still ended up with
a great win and satisfied with the odds using price boost.

I hope we can use the price boost with as many bets we want, if that is not too much to ask.

It was the best McGregor fighting in the octagon. Its just that Khabib played better than him and executed the gameplan well and perfectly. Also McGregor is not used to submission games like what Khabib has done.

Conor wasn't focused on this fight and i think he's more of a mayweather in UFC at the moment concentrating more on advertisements than the real fight. I am not trying to take anything away from Khabib but I believe on any other day if he's focused and  prepared Khabib cannot stand him

They say that pride comes before a fall and that's exactly what happened to McGregor who has been very boastful in the UFC, Khabib showed that he was vastly superior to McGregor in every aspect and I am waiting to see how McGregor bounces back in the rematch.

Realistically you can't say it was the best Conor, on what basis do you make that statement? Conor is an MMA fighter who has been out of the Octagon for TWO years. Sure, he shared a ring with Mayweather last year, but that was a completely different rule set, and his training did nothing to prepare him against an opponent that is 90% ground game. This was not the best McGregor that's for sure, though I still think even on his finest day he would still get smashed by Khabib.

We have different opinion I guess and I think he likes the way Conor fight despite being dominated.
For me, I just have to be thankful to Khabib and most especially to Conor as he loss the fight and that brings me profit as a gambler.

I don't think we have seen the best McGregor in UFC 229. I see him calculating his moves and anticipating the moves of Khabib. He gets tired to quickly. If that is his best he should have improved his ground and pound game instead of waiting for the right moment to land that heavy hands of him. If McGregor wants a comeback, he should comeback with as a better MMA fighter equipped with more moves other than boxing and a few wrestling moves.

Agreed that Khabib is on another level. Conor did not show anything and I reckon he was scared in one moment of the fight in the end of round 2.

But this does not settle the grappling versus striking question. This is mixed martial arts and as far as I can tell, winning is dependent on the artist, not the style.

I only know Chael to be honest and i don't know who is fedor lol. By looking at the odds, Fedor is the favorite though, so Fedor will win i guess?  ;D

All he could do on that fight now was just taunting Khabib, and he just did that and lost. But both camps still have some differences and the fight didn't do anything but to stir up more chaos. It has started with the fans also that they wanted to join the brawl and more fights have started inside the cage attacking Conor. It's just total out chaos and it's just mayhem. I think everything is going personal.
