If you can post a message from an address you staked from that profile, we can leave the scammer negative trust until you get the account back.

Hey, Its Digitalbitcoin with Bitcointalk profile https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=449709.

My account was get hacked and email address get changed with another email address.

But why the information about changed email doesn't shown in the profile (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=449709)?

If I'm not mistake there must be a warning: "This user's email address was changed recently".

Its a shame that you cannot even secure your own account, There's just no way that someone can actually grab your password away from you either you are careless and like what I've read in this thread that you had sold your account and trying to get it back by making a false story. You cannot just come here and make an argument about the administrator.

You are responsible for your own account, you let the hackers to steal your account and yelling at the admins won't help you.

When you account got hacked, because there is symbol of changed email and password in your trust page? Many people were waiting to recover their account for almost a year now so you have to be patient.

I hope theymos will implement an automated recovery system in the near future as he stated somewhere.

You can leave the forum, get a life, get married, get a job, get some durians or anything that might give happiness on you (I don't care what it is). Don't belittle the administration of this forum it will be down for years now if it isn't manage well.

Just you wait, some takes a year or two if proven.

It's funny to think that you said a word "ethical" yet it is not on the construction of your post.

It happened in August:

so it is no longer "recently"

But now they have to understand their own responsibility.
do you know your own responsibility? you're supposed to secure your password
their responsibility is the security on the server side, and you do your part on your side
admins are helping the best they can to help recover accounts to rightful owners

My request is kindly check PM sent by digitalcryptocoin to restore my account in ethical ways.
did you lock your account? there's no password reset or change on your account (seclog)
(before locking) did you try to take over back your account by changing email back and setting new password?

My account was get hacked and email address get changed with another email address.

Do you have any lead how does it happen? I mean how did someone manage to hack your account?
This may help the administrator to make countermeasure and prevent it for happening in the future.

My account was get hacked and email address get changed with another email address.

Do you have any lead how does it happen? I mean how did someone manage to hack your account?
This may help the administrator to make countermeasure and prevent it for happening in the future.

The most common reasons are:

There was a malicious hack in 2015 where the user accounts were compromised.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4405796.0
So it could be from the list that was sold on the darknet.
If your account was registered in 2015 it could be on the list - change your password.

There are also a number of phishing sites that target bitcointalk users:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4426885.0
If you have logged onto a fake site - change your password.

Using the same passwords on multiple crypto sites could also be the cause.

Also shame on you for nearly 1900 posts and no merit. Surely you can see that if you aren’t gaining merit you won’t exactly be a high priority

Merit is newly launched concept.

Really? then by that post you are admitting to doing something nefarious as any member posting here could not of missed all the fucking Merit moaning still going on before the posting gap..

fella  I think you are a fucking liar..

I guess that's pretty relative. It's roughly 10 months old by now. It seems that you made roughly 40 posts after the implementation of the system.

I really can't understand what you mean here, but every member on this forum is treated equally, its not like the delay in restoring your account is synonymous to just you..

This happens to be the biggest bitcoin community in the world, and the administrators have tons and tons of duties to attend to, numerous pending "restore account back" are still on their desk, and a lot of verifications have to be done

Accounts are delicate,so you definitely shouldn't expect your account to simply be given back to you so easily, just follow the due process and be patient
Coming here to say iLL stuffs about theymos wouldn't help your cause, he's made the forum accommodating for all and sundry,i doubt if there is actually any better person to run the forum than him..

You'll be worse of, considering you lack strong command of the English language

This will not help you to get your account back and the worst case scenario admin will not consider it after you blame for doing nothing after your account was hacked. Yes, it is indeed true that problems like this could be hardly to resolve because it will just create more confusion. It is very clear that the admin will not going to stand as a third party for the dispute BCT account. If I will be the admin then I will also do the same and will not take actions besides, account should be secured by you and yourself only.

Anyway, OP you can build this account and rank this up. I bet you can do it since you are more knowledgeable than us in replying a threads started by low ranks or newbie. You just take it positively and then probably you will get faster merit than us for you to rank up.

Well I doubt this rant would enable you get your account back any faster.
I believe there's a long line of users whose accounts were hacked (or supposedly hacked) who are waiting to be it recovered.

The system might be automated soon but for now, lots of things run very slowly.
Best to wait a feedback and as has already been stated post the signed account so DTs can leave a red trust in it to limit the activities of the hacker and warn other users.

Lot of people have been waiting for more than a year to get their hacked account back but theymos have not enough time to investigate the cases and restore those accounts that is why he said he will be implementing some automated restore method in the near future nut not sure when.

You are responsible for your account not the admin.Mind it!

Honestly speaking its not the fault of moderators that your account get hacked rather you were careless to loss your account, moreover you are just took rude with the way you approach them. Though I know you feel bad but learn to approach people kindly most especially when dealing with public thanks.
