The famous Bitcoin Cash popularizer Roger Ver considering between finding a partner or launching the new platform on his own


Remember Roger Ver? A pretty controversial figure in the cryptocurrency field. Ver recently shared his plans with Bloomberg to create his own cryptocurrency platform; which, given the Bitcoin.com coverage, does not seem too ambitious. Actually, Ver and his team probably are at the stage of adopting this idea, and cannot decide whether they need a partner, or they will become an independent “core” of the project:


Chief Executive Officer Roger Ver also mentioned that the exchange will be located within the Bitcoin.com domain; speaking superficially, this may strengthen the position of BCH currency. And, no further details are given.

Im waiting for the comments of die hard fans of Ver on here. ;D We wont really need an another exchange specially if its being owned by BCASH God.

Since when are brain farts of retarded assholes news worthy?

Setting up an exchange in current environment is almost a guaranteed way to lose money, especially when you know that one of the most untrustworthy individuals in the whole crypto ecosystem is backing it. Do I really have to point people at how Roger scammed hundreds (maybe even thousands) of people by tricking them into buying Bitcoin while they actually bought Btrash?

Bitcoin.com has an interesting history. It was bought before the official launch of Bitcoin and only a while later satoshi noticed that someone had already registered. He did not care because, according to him, .org had more to do with the ideas of the project and .com was just commercial.

Sometime later, someone launched an exchange that using bitcoin.com. But the company went bankrupt. Then Ver bought it and decided after a while to rent it to the exchange Okcoin. The deal ended in a court case. And Ver decided to transform the website into a news portal with links to several services related to Bitcoin. Casino games etc.

Launching an exchange using the address would be another idea to try to suck up the maximum amount of dollars from a brand that in theory does not belong to anyone, or that maybe belongs to everyone.

But that would have, at least for me, a negative impact. Bitcoin needs to be more than a speculated asset in several exchanges. Ver is already a partner of several exchanges and companies related to Bitcoin. It can easily catapult a brand new from scratch.

A news portal, even if it is so biased, is one of the best business utilities that this address can have for the community.

Thanks for that little bit of trivia vit05, pity that domain name has been the cause of many a newbie misled into buying something that is not Bitcoin, am sure an exchange shilling altcoins will only make matters worse.

My tingling spidey sense tells me Ver will probably want to jump on the STO bandwagon, maybe even basing them all of BCH. Something tells me (new) investors might not care about the difference. That's the only reason I can think of he wants to wade into this jungle of exchanges.

Roger Ver is trying to open Fakebitcoin.com exchange. Such a good news for many future hacked newbies. Faking Bitcoin then faking an exchange, just wow :-\

Nice way to wash ...

It wouldn't even surprise me when they totally exclude coins they deem as a competitor to their own Bcash. Ver already said a while ago that support for Bitcoin Core (his words) will drop eventually from his wallet app.

I think the coins he considers to be a threat are:

Bitcoin. (obvious)
Litecoin. (obvious)
XRP. (obvious)
Ethereum. (Bcash focuses on ICOs and STOs as well)

BitPay is a clear example of how fear for competition made them not accept one single altcoin, and there is no indication that it will ever happen. Ver's toxic influence makes BitPay lose out on millions of extra revenue.

I’m looking for a better option in the poll, it’s just too simple and light.

Mr. Ver is running out of tricks and money with his new invention of BCash. He wants to create another stream of income since the BCash is failing slowly. Mr. Ver saw crypto exchange as a better to go than working 24/7 promoting BCash yet failing still. My question on that exchange is, which coin is going to be the major trading pair? I know crypto exchanges are using BTC as the major trading pair followed by ETH. Perhaps, we shall see BCH for the first time. ;)
