It really isn't worth using anything that's not established at all IMO, especially 'no-devfee' versions of well-known miners. Even reputable miners can potentially be compromised if you don't download the miner from somewhere like this site; downloading from other locations may potentially result in you getting viruses and RATs (remote access trojans) on your computer. I'd take the fee route over a new miner that I can't really trust any day.

Dont know why people do love to try out some obvious shady stuffs and dont consider to stick out on the reputable ones.Virus total shows 2 / 70 it isnt really a big deal but giving you out a malware prompt then its better to ignore right away.

There is a lot of mining website nowadays so better be aware and careful from it. There are some mining that needs to upgrade your mining plan in order to withdraw your mined coins.

Use only mining software which is posted by real developers here in the forum and almost high-rank developers here are trusted compared to use newbies mining software that we don't know if it safe or it has a higher dev fee.

So, better to use a mining software which is developed by real developers and not edited program from other mining software.

There are few reputable miners out here and don't know WHY would ppl need to try something else.

Greed is why.  1-2% people want it instead of devfee so they are stupid and loose 100%

Because they want to squeeze every little mh/s they can out of their cards.
Even at a risk of being a victim to a hack program.

Kind of stupid if you think about it.

Moderated thread plus having a bunch of newbie accounts telling that it is a good miner software then those are common indications of shady stuff. They dont even learn the older thread has been deleted so therefore you can report this thread too.

Its better to stick out into older ones even it do have higher dev fee than on a new one offers lower but the risk is high.

Thank you for sharing this with us.  I have seeing many software that makes some promise that is too good to be truth.  I decided to see many of this profits making opportunity as scam first in other not to get in early and lose my investments to scam.  I have tried many of those opportunities and I have not gotten anything from them as most of them look scam for me.

yes, but sometimes, you need to let this naive or greedy people to let them burn them selfs. Than, next time, they will think twice before they will do anything.
Any school costs something.

ITs up to people to trust an unknown source or not;  but any supporting evidence would be help in banning the perpetrators and associated binaries...  So I suggest you take clear notes of what web addresses/sockets that binary is communicating to;  as that is a means to verify the claim through 3rd party testing.

I myself compile XMR-stak with the devfee and devfee URL's removed;  and I don't have 70 pages of history/reviews... but in the end, its about being from a trusted source is why people have used my binaries to be frank.

In the same note;  I have had countless people try and piggyback their builds onto my thread;  which I quickly delete and have none of that;  because I have no idea who they are, and what is in their binary.

Be aware;   Most miner apps now;  that tend to contain standardized code structures for lets say SHA256 type hashes which are an integral part of many many different algos;  will show up as a trojan/virus merely due to that signature that is common with the malware miners that have been around in the past (ones you don't know are on your machine, or ones run in the background of a website, etc.).    My xmr-stak binary also fails some virus scan protections for the very same reason.....  You yourself can actually compile the same source;  with the very same changes I have made (which I would happily provide); and see that your binary will indeed carry the same false detection.
