I'm not thinking anything. They are intended to be a quality exchange so it's only normal for them to delist coins that aren't petceived well by their customers or low enough volume that they aren't worth keeping. There is other exchanges out there for these coins so if they are meant to survive the delisting they will. Probably hurts to get removed from an exchange such as binance though.

It would be good if you put the links about the news of delisted coins in binance.
I wonder what made binance delist those coins because i see bytecoin have skyrocketing in binance few months ago.
Maybe binance have some new rules for coins to get listed on their exchange ?

Feels strange, I remember when Bytecoin came out.  It had a lot of potential, and the CryptoNote tech looked promising.  But it didn't pan out, like so many others.  Best wishes to the Bytecoin team, if they were/are still on the project, that is.

It will be a good news for us, binance delist crap coins without any volume and they will to add the new one that can give them a lot of daily trade volume. I hope that a new coin with live product just like CRPT, Universa and Buddy can be listed on binance. Remember about so many times bytecoin gets hacked.

Do you have the link for these rumors? there seem to be a shaking on Binance and they'll only let those coins remain that are legit.

In a fact some coins are really not worth it, I wonder how they made their ways through to get listed on Binance which have strict rule about listing. Most of these coins only run pump and dump.

You should attach a link from this news source, so you can make me believe in the news that you shared about binance today. Or gave at least a significant reason why the 4 coins were removed from binance.

I do not know why they have delisted these two coins. Bytecoin (BCN) Iconomi (ICN) are not bad at them. Bytecoin was added a few months ago, it seems, and there was such a pump and right now it is already being removed. The remaining two coins are not familiar to me and they are not sorry. But all the exchange does not stand still and goes with the times.

I think that's the usual thing, all market exchanges must have done that. the thing that I can take from this incident is that the altcoins experience delistism, the price will definitely go down.

Why did binance decide to take this decision? Is is connected to low volume or they found out something else about this coins???
A lot of puzzle

Regular delisting of coins is natural and I think every advanced exchange should do it. However, these rumours below are a bit different - it would mean that Binance is changing its listing strategy somehow. It would be nice to know what is the desired state of Binance in one year from now.

According to some rumors low volume 27 coins will be more delist.  (No resources now)

i think its good idea. those coins are just only pumps and dumps and low progress. so more legit coins will come in to binance. also this idea will make the other project owners to be active more on project. because now if binance see a sleeping project then they will delist them. i think this is a good warning entire crypto world

In General, I respect everything that binance does, but I have a question, why do they do it? really for them it makes a loss? after all, one way or another, they receive a percentage of any transactions, especially now when the market is falling strongly, many positions have a very low volume of trade. And such decisions, as we see in practice, strongly hit the cost. And now I see the price has dropped by 40%.

Noticed that more all these coins by their news of delisted has dropped by more than 20% in value, this is how strong Binance is and their news of delisting can mean bad for any coin. I knew when BCN was added and the delisting is just too short. Not holding any of the coins though

Here's the official announcement
https://support.binance.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017720731-Binance-Will-Delist-BCN-CHAT-ICN-TRIG

The delisting coins
Bytecoin (BCN)
ChatCoin (CHAT)
Iconomi (ICN)
Triggers (TRIG)

BCN and ICN seems to have a good userbase but they are shady as hell. No idea about what the other two coins are.
It's a good decision of binance to free itself from trashcoins. User expect premium feel from binance, there are other smaller paid options for trashcoins.

This is a sad news for me, its because i hold a lot of bytecoin, and hold it for long time, if binance would delist this coin this probably it would decrease its price, i know this is speculative idea, but you know being in binance will drive more traders to bytecoin, later on, i hope i can move on in this news. Im so worried.

There is no need to be surprised. If these coins fail to meet the trading volume requirements. They will delist. This is quite normal. Many exchanges have this kind of operation. I hope that a better coins will be listed on Binance.

There will be no refund for that because they have acquired a lot of daily trade volumes from binance exchange site and they are getting delist from binance caused by their own fault. Binance will give you a resposibility to pay 5 millions dollars to be listed on there.

This will be better because investors can select more quality projects. I think the trading volume of these four altcoins is very low and the developer has not updated recently. I am sure in the future there will be many altcoin delist out of Binance and we will be notified as soon as that happens.

I'm a little bit surprised that they've decided to delist Bytecoin in specific, since it definitely has quite a bit of following.
In their statement they mentioned that the reason for delisting these coins, was that they did not stick to the "high quality of standards" of their exchange.

Source: https://ambcrypto.com/bytecoin-bcn-bites-the-dust-with-a-22-loss-after-binance-delisting/

If these coins did not meet their quelity standards, I definitely expect more coins to be delisted in the future.

If there are still teams behind the projects then it would be a wake up call for them to become more active and maybe think again of a marketing strategy so that their coin would have more demand. If you are an investor of those coins then it would be time to think of you want to hold that coin for long or you may consider or reinvesting it in a coin that has more volume and more active coin. More coins would be delisted in the future because the people are seeing those projects that will become valuable in the future.

ICN use to be one of the best and was investing to it since last 2016. The team just mess things up that up to now they still can't find a way to make the coin useful in their platform. I'm not updated to what is going on to ICN but that's as far as I know since the last time I dump all mine. I didn't wait for the pump last year but I just left out of frustration.  But yes. If a coin doesn't have a volume, it deserves to be delisted. I find it hard to believe that bytecoin doesn't have volume.

That is good news really. Delisting shitcoins in exchanges is the first step in shaking off those in the market altogether. This will essentially redistribute the dominance of coins in the space. Imagine if more shitcoins died, its volume will go back to other more solid coins.

Glad to see that Iconomi has been delisted, the coin is absolutely trash, I still remember the huge hype it generated earlier in the year, even then I know it was going to be an epic failure.

Surprised to see that about Bytecoin though, as far as I recall it was only listed on BInance earlier this year, I guess they must have been having major issues otherwise it woudn't have been delisted after their review.

Huge drops incoming.

I think ti was just about time that the biggest exchange in the world would duelist some if not all the shitcoins. I mean, there a re so many coins on the binance list that are literally worthless when it comes to the product, the team, the vision and the safety. Some of those coins were a plain scam, everyone knew it, but binance was still trading them.

I don't think that it is the right thing to worry about. Binance delists only shitcoins, which have a low demand and day volume trade. Nothing interesting.

Delist of this one is not so clear for me. Anyway I like this exchange and I support it because it is very suitable as for new members as for old generation if it could be said so.

Binance delist, I sold TRIG a few months ago, I thought I would buy it again cheaply, I had expected it would happen a few months ago because the small trading volume would not be profitable for binance

Binance announced the release of 4 alternative crypto currencies.

Four unlisted crypto coins

Bytecoin (BCN)
ChatCoin (CHAT)
Iconomi (ICN)
Triggers (TRIG)

According to some rumors low volume 27 coins will be more delist.  (No resources now)

what are you thinking ?
I don’t know why they are doing that but Binance always try to maintain the position as top exchanger, so whatever reason that made them delist all those coins must be in a way to keep up with their plans. But where did you read that from, didn’t they state any reason as to why Binance removed those delist coins? Cause I’m very sure that if they are going to do that, they will give a reason as to whey they are doing it.

This is the first announcement they made for delisting the coins, there is many reason behind for delisting the coins because they might be not reaching their desired target volumes and community is not showing any interest towards the coins.

I heard that at least one of those coins have been trading under dubious circumstances, if a coin is tainted then it makes sense that Binance would not want to be associated with it. But since they charge such exorbitant fees to list in the first place it is tragic to think it could be a large financial loss on two counts.

Binance is always interested in the interests of the public on their systems. They are likely to have gathered material related to the resource, volume, or decline of the user base of these coins. Among them, I have a surprise with BCN.
