Title: Zpool stealing ?
Post by: AlexE2E4 on October 13, 2018, 09:35:59 PM
Just simple measurement with two exactly same rigs (1x GTX1060):

Rig#1: NiceHash, Lyra2REv2, 22 MH/s: 0.00002431 BTC/hour = $0.15/hour
Rig#2: Zpool, Lyra2REv2, 22 MH/s:     0.000000576 BTC/hour = $0.0036288/hour

Its difficult to compare regular pools with Nicehash. Nicehash is paying you based upon what buyers have already paid in BTC.

Whereas Zpool would be mining coin, waiting for it to mature, and finally going to exchange to convert to BTC. Pretty long for returns to change from when you actually mined something.

I prefer Nicehash over everything, except MPH.

I've had really bad results with Zpool also, not sure if I'm doing something wrong.

Try the same comparison except this time use ahashpool  instead of zpool.
Also run the tests for a full 24 hours, and base your numbers on actual payouts, and not what the current estimates are on the GUI
Trust me, your gross revenues for a single 1060 is not going to be $3.60 / day.  More like 90 cents per day.

You're being to optimistic at 90 cents per day with a 1060, you can't even make that with a 1080  :o

you need to wait for more than 24h to compare yimp pools. I have compared most and find that you get what you pay for. Zergpool was by far the best but sadly that has gone now. Zpool is ok. To compare them with NH is not easy as NH pays now and yimp pays the day after tomorrow
