This thread belongs to meta. There are similar threads like this in there as well.
You were demoted because theymos implemented a 1 merit requirement to rank up to jr. member. You can rank up again if you can get 1 merit.
Read nore about new merit and rank requirements here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0

Please don't repeat this kind of question. I have seen more than 10+ similar topics in the past few days. Did you haven't the ability to read or are too lazy to read other people's topics to find the answer?
I highly recommend dividing this topic into spam!

I don't think your answer was needed? It doesn't create any value. The answer wanted by OP was given correctly by 2 members. If you consider the rules of the forum, you have broken the rules and so I, maybe.
1. Your comment adds zero value.
2. Your comment is offtopic.

Try reading other people's topics before posting a new topic/question, you can easily find the answer.
Duplicate questions are unnecessary and occupy forum resources.
Everyone should not wait for someone to feed the cake into your mouth.

It is because that is one of this user method to gain merit from other users, I believe people might need to understand that giving the same answer when it is obviously not needed is also seen as another way on spamming the forum, and this is basically what happens when a user became too obsessed with merit, you will start to see him making more posts similar with the example above.
