Title: After 10 hours got my R9 290 Tri-X to 920Khs
Post by: m3 on March 07, 2014, 12:53:20 PM
make sure to set the two variables with the gpualloc and the sync so that you can increase your thread concurrency. Max it out, for me it was 25600 and then when adding the gpu clock and the power add them together. All in all finally got 920khs out of one more than I expected. This is using the regular BIOS if i switch it from quiet to gaming mode i should be able to max out my thread concurrency at around 32k which should push it to 1Mhs

how much is that card where you live?

My 7970's run at 700-725 with just alittle undervolt and mild oc. I see the average there is 886?

I think that card costs £360 here in the UK, mine cost £250. so you pay 50% more for something that is 25% faster?

Tbh, I dont think 7970's are worth it over 7950's either, but they were the same price when I purchased....
