I currently have holdings of ETH, XRP, AND BTC. However I believe we may not see prices this cheap for bitcoin in the near future, espeically with institution funds rolling in. Should I sell my XRP for more bitcoin???

You should do that when the price of XRP was increasing a lot and then why didn't you do that when the price of ripple gets a big pump in the last week? Bitcoin will worth a lot but this time hold ripple is much better than it dude consider about the volatility of ripple.

Ripple is doing some nice pumps. I wouldn't sell it just yet..

For always, my main motive to buy and sell ALTs is to increase my BTC value.
If you are holding XRP which you have bought at low sats value in terms of BTC and if you are in good profit, its good to sell it off for BTC. You can always rebuy alts like XRP or ETH in future when there SATS value is real low and sell them on profit to increase your BTC value.

Well you have diversified your portfolio already so what's your problem then? But if you're looking for long term investment that will give you a good ROI in the future then buy Bitcoin. XRP is good for short term goal, so if you have made a lot of money shorting XRP then sell them and go for Bitcoin. But if I'm in your shoes I will put more funds in Bitcoin like 60% and then go 20% on both XRP and Ethereum.

you should be able to know this earlier and always prioritize BTC rather than other assets. but now it's not late and you can do it.

XRP is a good holding, as it will increase faster and bigger than BTC. Bitcoin is stable, but it gives less profit than altcoins. So hold in XRP is a great decision.

I think right now it's more worth to hold btc because recently XRp has already pumped and i think no more pumps in near future.

Yes you can. XRP is also good hold for future but you can convert 50% of your XRP to USDT and wait for Bitcoin price comes down after you can buy bitcoin.And also be careful on trading if you done mistakes it move you to loss your money.

Xrp is gaining more acceptance in corporate centralized quarters more than cryptocurrency community. Having centtalized cryptocurrency has some advantage but not like decentralized bitcoin. My priority will be bitcoin first then, xrp!

You should sell your XRP and buy more Bitcoin. I don't think XRP is a good investment because XRP seems hard to increase value in long term. XRP total supply is too big, 100B.

Holding both of them for now might be a good idea. XRP is a good investment and predictions say it will increse better than bitcoin. Holding two coins with great potential might be profitable oneday.

Before making any decisions of the sort you should do a little research on your own. If you're interested in selling XRP you should do so when there is a good value for it in the market than rushing things and selling it for a loss. Yes, BTC and XRP is worth holding in the current situation where I believe that  bullish market may seem to be near  to happen in the coming months to come. Little patience is what you need if you really need to earn promising profit wherein it will definitely come within the right timing. Currently, make use of this bearish market in buying more btc and XRP at a lower price and you find it worth investing once you gain promising return of investment soon.

To some extent you can sell partially of your XRP coins and buy more btc being the the lower price at present point of time. Do hold both coins but if have to divide between 2 coins then make ti 70% to btc and rest to the XRP coins.

I think you'd be better that XRP of yours, cause from the news that i heard that it will be used as a tool of payment in a well known merchant. Most likely the price will be increasing because of that.

I think bitcoin is reliable rather than xrp, it's just a matter of choice and how you plan and have a strategy especially for trading.
and for xrp the choice is cheaper than you invest in bitcoin.

I personally choose XRP over BTC right now, cause i compared with my fund, i'll got more coins if i purchase XRP, due the price is still low, and in my calculation, it would be able to generate more profit than BTC, cause I think at the current price of BTC getting a big pump for it will takes whales investors to make their investment on BTC.

I think XRP is now increasing even if it's only a little, if you still keep it and want to sell it, just sell some so that later if you have a high score you don't regret it. Be patient for a moment, surely the crypto market will be green and many will visit and jump in to be able to trade again.

Ripple is an overvalued, manipulative, coporate, sleazy company that routinely manipulates the price of their own coin.
It is not sustainable and has no place in satoshi nakamotos vision.
Make the right choice by choosing not to support such a corrupt company.

It is entirely right. but for the suggestion that ripple also has considerable potential. Ripple can be a great altcoin even comparable to ethereum. so it might be unfortunate enough to remove the ripple. better stay resilient because of the potential ripple to be very high in some time. Although this can only be speculation but a ripple capable of shifting the ethereum several times and could be more than that.

If i be you i will hold both of that, even Ripple have pros and contras in crypto, they have backed up by bank if i not wrong, correct me if i'm wrong. So this coin have potential to up in future because it is controlled.

There is a lot of uncertainly for all three of the currencies mentioned by the OP, so I wouldn't move my eggs into fewer baskets.  Being diversified in terms of crypto assets is a prudent move, though it may hinder returns if one or more of the assets held doesn't follow along when another takes off.  I wouldn't jockey that position, except for perhaps balancing depending on what ratio you're holding them in currently.

It is much better to hold this two major coins in the market as XRP has pumping more this last quarter it is still worth to hold this for it has more potential of having a high value next year and if by chance this could replaced Ethereum as the number 2 spot in the crypto market.  Even if XRP gets pumping better hold it and you will never regret.

I think by having a Ripple and Bitcoin to held will be very capable to generate more profit. due to the development of both these different coins were able to be opportunities that continue to flow. so it would be nice to have both and support it through holding the coins.

I'm a long term investor and I won't chunk with those short term profits though its good to have it if you rely on it. And converting all of your altcoins to bitcoin is the best idea that will ever do. Don't wait until bitcoin slash all of those alts before converting to it.

Now that the price is down and ethereum is one of the big hit I think it is good to buy them now and hold for a very long time.  Erp has a good potential for growth and like bitcoin I think there have equal opportunities.

This may be a sensible approach. XRP is too volatile. There is a change in the banks behind this. The long-term holding power of such coins is not as high as bitcoin. On the contrary, the price of Bitcoin is very safe now, and it is safer to hold Bitcoin now.

In bear markets always btc is the strongest coin. Altcoins are more soft during bear market. They can be pumped more hard in bull and they can be dumped more hard in bear market. So always in bear masrket i prefer hodling fiat or btc. I think now bear market will continue for some time so i think btc is the best investment decision for now.

Don't be too focused or fixated only on bitcoin only. Indeed it is a large coin with the potential he has. but ripple also shows growth is quite good and this is worth to follow. When the ripple can reach a high point again like previous ATH certainly is a huge benefit. so I guess to keep the ripple which you have very unfortunate because removing the coin as good as the ripple.

I think you should hold the XRP for a while longer. Because I feel that XRP is in a growth phase and it is growing every week. So I think you should hold until its price is $ 0.8, you can sell it and transfer to BTC. That would be a big profit for number of Bitcoin.

I will not do that, at this moment XRP become alternative income when my asset stuck in bitcoin and Eth. You can see from XRP moving action, even not too high ( significant ) but will create income, more days to survive. Don't think that income only came from bitcoin/ eth only because so many coins that also bring us profit, specially XRP.

If I were in your shoes I would not sell my xrp because you might regret that in the future. Those 3 assets that you're holding are very powerful in terms of the potential to making you really fortunate in due time. You just have to be patient and always think that harvesting in crypto is not just like instant noodles that you can have it anytime you want to.

I guess it would be best of you only sell 50% of your XRP holdings to buy more BTC.  This way you got what you wanted and at the same time still have XRP if somehow price of XRP are pump and sell it for more profit.  It is always best to diversify, investing your money in just one basket is proven not that good.  At least you have the option to earn more on the option I told you.

Such news do really affect a coin but don't expect also too much with these speculations. As a bitcoin believer, I'm giving bitcoin more space to my portfolio and has the highest percentage than the other alts.

I think the ripl will grow a little more to btc to 0.00012. But this is my guess and you should watch out for valuable you may need to sell earlier.

I have sold all my XRP during the last pump and I won't ever buy this coin again. I would search for more perspective cryptos that BTC, but if you are asking, than I would sell all XRP and switch to Bitcoin without any further notice.

Focus on fundamentals and long-term prospects.  I bought XRP last Summer and plan to hold it for 4-5 years.  The fundamentals of Ripple and XRP are incredible they are becoming more and more decentralized every month and currently only control 7% of the network.  They have expanded into new markets and their XRP/direct FIAT pairs have grown over 400% just this year.  Next year they expect exponential increases as we start to see the beginning of Metcalfe's Law take shape.  Also, Jevons Paradox will be a very real thing in the remittence market.  The future looks incredible.  Buy all the XRP you can and hold until 2022.  Don't trade it, touch it, don't do anything just lock it away and forget about it.  $10/XRP is nothing when you consider the magnitude of the problems XRP is uniquely capable of solving.  Unfortunately XLM hasn't done anything to expand their liquidity in the market.  Its just not functional nor is BTC, BCH or ETH.  Good luck to all!

Everything is dropping hard, but I don't think Ripple has a much room to grow. It can be $3 again, but I will not do 10x, 50x, 100x. Check its market cap.

Buy more bitcoin is bad idea, don't do that. Many people still believe with crypto but they replace their trust at the wrong time and coins. This is down trend and they should replace their asset into currency and wait more time until crypto market has significant price moving, depend on that we can buy again. Nothing wrong with faith or prediction but replace into the right place and time is more important than that.

You should not take too long to hold XRP because you have too high a risk, it is advisable to hold as much bitcoin as you can because only bitcoin has a very good potential.

It is worth it if you are holding a coin like ripple, mostly before I would say that they are going to not be doing good but in light of the recent events that we have seen so far, I think that there is a lot that the coins are going to do and with a coin like ripple and such speeds you are going to be sure that you are going to make a good amount from it
