Title: Do we really need a bullrun?
Post by: halpi on October 19, 2018, 01:02:40 AM
Hi, community!
I want to share my thoughts about Bullrun which is according to many users here is coming.

First of all, the purpose of most crypto is to become public and gain mass hype, to be popular not in the narrow community, but widely, most of them are aimed at your uncle, aunt, grandma, children etc.

What do all of them want? Stable service. How can a normal, usual person use a currency which is able to gain or loss +-10-15% in minutes? And this is a common situation in crypto.

For example, Joe wants to pay for a service with the token, when he decided to do it and everything is ready for exchange the price is gained in 10%, do you really think that somebody will use such service in everyday life? ::)
And for now, we have a rather stable market, that is predictable, there are less and less to the moons.

And opposite side, imagine that there will be a Bullrun, who will profit? Speculators and bounty hunters who will sell their tokens, not customers. What public opinion another Bullrun will cause? That crypto is speculation thing, where you are able to become rich, it is not about services or products, speculations only.

I, as the token holder, will be happy with Bullrun, but at the same time, I really think that it will cause more damage to all crypto industry.

Share your thoughts :'(

I think we can also earn without any bull run. But we needb to wait for the right time, it is not necessary to have a bull run in order for us to earn because even in a huge dip we can still earn as long as we know how to adjust or to have a patience on the unstable market. Not all of the coin are dropping on dip there are some coin that is still good for investment and we can earn on it a minimal amount of profit.

There will be no bullrun in this year, consider about holders are still speculating the result of ETF. big bubble has already burst.
If you are wanna seeing another bullish trend and it might happen in 2020 or even more consider about there will be a lot of updates to the crypto on that year. especially about the bitcoin halving time.

We need a bull run in the market to reawaken the peoples confidence in crypto. But how do we get a bull run since is still external money that forces a bull run?

Bull run does not need the desire of someone to run. Instead we bull run we need steady market growth
We need the ico to deliver so that investor faith comes back.  We need token to show their utility to world. We don't need scam anymore. If all these happen bull run will automatic come

They are many ways to get profit for this year. We need bull run of course, But they are many ways or strategy of how to get more profit for this year or before the end of the year. Try to trade some short term trading. It was very effective way. My friend bought worth 160$ and he sold at 6k$ with in an hours. He got a gold in a moment only, But its hard to find coins like that. He did Arbitrage

There is nothing wrong with bull run as the service side of cryptocurrency can be taken care of by stable coin! Cryptocurrency is not just a payment system, it is also a store of value! Now, here is the question, who wouldn't want his or her asset to grow in value?

many people are discussing about bull run, I believe that bull run will occur and will improve the price of crypto currencies on the market, the capital holders also play a role in it, but the time is still very long some predictions mention between 2019 or 2020

I guess it will depend on what people really want. If they want profit more than the actual uses of crypto, then bull run is so essential. While if they what to experience the convenience, ease and hassle-free uses of crypto, then, as what you mentioned, we need its price to be stable. But, I have a strong feeling that there are more people (if not all) who want profit than anything else.

Of course everybody would love to use service like this in our daily lives, this is decentralization.

Customers? everyone who bought his/her own crypto is the customer itself.

Institutional money will cause the market to be in bull run so stay tuned.

Taking some profit is always good to survive and to sell at present levels is total loss that is why a bull run is very important for the community now so that we can withdraw a little portion to pay debt and other personal expenses.

Whoever said that there is a bullrun, never believe on it as no one can precisely predict the future of cryptocurrency. They are speculating to pump a certain coin/token for you to invest then they will gained out of your investment so be aware.

I do not believe, people do believe.
Open a forum page and you will see, every person writes "Bullrun", "SOON".
Also, I don`t like the fact that many ICOs are waiting for it :(

Bull run is a temporary peak of the prices due to market manipulation and we should learn that from last year. What we really need is a mass adoption of cryptocurrency as this is the only way to increase the demand of every currency.

I know that if a bull run happens then many new investors will appear to invest in crypto, and of course we need bull run so that crypto can be known by many people.

I believe we need to have a bullish market since there is no point in doing investment and for what purpose in doing investment without gaining profit. Bullish market makes the market profitable and it could attract more people to do investment. However, I think bullish market will start with btc first as this is usually the baseline for the altcoins to follow the bull market trend. I am optimistic that bull market is near to come within the year and most probably in the month of December where the last years ATH happened.

But the bull run can be more stable and gradual. It was before - a gradual growth, until this growth turned into the hyip at December 2017 and speculators entered the market. It would be better for everyone if the bull trend comes back. And the masses will come here even more actively, if the run will be bullish & positive - everyone is attracted only by the growing trend. But it should be more stable, here I agree with you. But even if speculators will make hyip again, it's not bad at all for those who in at this timeframe. People should learn make trades and i know there is a great project's launching at the moment helping newbies to make profits from the day 1.
Now the market is cool & complies for adaptations to the masses. The growth will return and, I think, soon we will see it, like blockchain and cryptocurrency will start to enter everyday life - this will be the true catalyst for growth. There still will be speculations - they will not disappear anywhere, but every time with an increase in total capitalization it will be more difficult to do it - the time will come and the cryptocurrencies will become as stable as the national currencies. ::) ;)

We don't need a bull run, all we need is regulation and order to maintain the good and legit measurement of different project. Just to prevent and avoid those scam project, so the name of cryptocurrencies will be at a good shape again and make a lot of investment and development like before. That is what we need on this complicated market around the internet.

As much as I understand your thoughts its important for you to note that the marketcap of cryptocurrency is a determinant if bull or bearish run. There are currently lots of under priced tokens which people bought a  huge some months back and right now they are so below. The truth is the more adoption cryptocurrency attains the more bull we should see, and we are definitely ready for that bull we need it.

However, I believe we need a bull run in the crypto currency market in other to give the market more fun and good tiding to both the traders and investors.

It's a matter classification if the market is Bullish or Uptrends, Greendays it is often called a "BULLRUN"( more buying than selling or lot's of fresh capital invested in the market) while the market is "Bearish or Downtrends" it will called BloodBath,Red days,(more selling
and selling with stagnant market condition) etc. But generally speaking we need a bullish market trends to accumulate more profit! Cryptocurrency is speculative in nature that's why the volatility is high that's why before anyone ventured in this industry it is very important to do some researched to avoid losing in surprises!

I agree. It is also very important for the new investor to enter the market. If this happens, the bull season will come very quickly. But if the bear is so long, it's like it's hard because people are away.

We really do need a bull run but needing it does not mean that it is going to happen because that is not how this works, we need a bull run so that people can begin to have hope int he market again and in the fact that their coins are not worthless, but even a small recovery right now would work for that. We will have a bull run, we just have to wait a couple of years for it

Bull run is a temporary peak of the prices due to market manipulation and we should learn that from last year. What we really need is a mass adoption of cryptocurrency as this is the only way to increase the demand of every currency.
This is what everyone wants to take profit as we learned from the last peak.

But I agree with that, we need mass adoption and bull run will follow later. There's no other way to make the market into bull run again but by having more demand and that is through massive adoption so institutional money will come in and new big players would start trading in the crypto market.

Ofcourse, we need a bull run to have stability and to regain the trust in this trading. But comparing to the market situation I guess it's pretty hard to go for a bullish run. The scam projects are making demands very less. Continuous price fluctuations disappoints everyone, still there is lot of hope that it will recover slowly and steady it's market. Lets believe in this.

well at some point between the global adoption and current stage, we need to find a stable ground to attract more people, but a bullrun would be good and we're far from the adoption point I believe, it's a long road with governments etc that will trigger ups and downs.

I agree with you that a bullrun isn't a good thing when it turns into a bubble and subsequent crash. We need sustained steady growth and adoption, not a mindless pump and dump fueled by FOMO.

This makes a lot of sense. Even though a bull run has it's pros and cons, steady growth is what we need actually, growth occasioned by adoptions, positive news, etc. Investors who are watching from the outside will actually be weary of a price surge that looks more or less like a pump. This is because pumps are usually accompanied by a dump and a lot of these guys are more concerned about stability of the price of BTC.

I think wes should need bullrun because when market get bullish and there will many news will come out and then we can get of some or many people will get interest again about crypto and we will get new investor. After that if the price growing up and maybe goverment will think to accepted and make some rules that can make price stable but it just my opinion.

Yes, we need the next bull run for sure. Due to the current market conditions, no ICO can even reach their soft cap. We need a new wave of fresh investors, that will take part in the crypto space. I hope it will happen before the end of this year.

I think bull run is expected in the last months of this year and it is important that if bull run is expected to happen then soon it will show a rise in demand and speculators will buy bitcoin and alt coin for price rise and it is possible that a bull run change the market history from bad to good like the crypto is using for payments in the world and it will be more popular among the online users.

Yes of course. After long dump market, we will need such bullrun. We really miss it. However, i myself aware that it will be very difficult if we don't support it. That is why, we must have good efforts to take part in cryptocurrency more than well. We don't need to be panic and sell out the tokens or coins in the low price. It will make the price dumped again.
The bull run market is a very waited era.

This question really made fall to thinking about whether we need bull run.
As a bounty hunter I am eager to see the price of my tokens to rise several times..
But if I were an everyday user of crypto in real life, of course I would be disappointed about paying, say, 0.1 btc for some kind of service and the next day realizing that I overpaid like 25-30 %.

I, as the token holder, will be happy with Bullrun, but at the same time, I really think that it will cause more damage to all crypto industry.

i have a simple question: in btc's history we had few bull run. I've lived only the last two...when in the end of 2013 btc reach for the first time 1000$ and the last one at the end of 2017.
What damage dit they cause to crypto industry?
I really think: none.

So i don't think an other bull run will cause damage

I think we need a good pump in the crypto market, Though I will not call that a bull run. Bitcoin needs to be stable at 10K USD, not 6K! Many people are not happy because of the low price of the crypto, ICO market is like dying. A lot of good ICO projects failed this year! Everyone's crypto portfolio becoming tiny! So, we need a good pump, and a good pump is not harmful, crypto has enough backup!

Well pumps attract new comers and good investors may come to invest in etc. So volumes go higher, marketcaps raise etc etc. So i need a bull run.

And what are you planning to do with your coins if you are not selling them? Do you plan to sit on them, watch them, cuddle with your cold storage? I personally want to buy some shit and not to lose much of my portfolio  8)
So yes I would like a bull run!

The amount of people who are not related to any crypto currencies are still way larger than the number of crypto enthusiast.

So this could be a better moment to let them in.
Cheap tokens to buy and specially cheap bitcoin.
The more we are here, the merrier it will get. I do think Hodlers can wait that long since they have been patient enough to see all the dumps and pumps.

We very need bulls in the market of cryptocurrency. If bulls are not to all cryptocurrency there will be an end. Growth is necessary.

Without these bull runs there would be no demand for crypto and therefore no mainstream adoption. The downside of course is that no-one wants a volatile currency for payment. Overall, i think we would all appreciate a bull run

Is like you just ask that do we need more gain, InIn everything we do we all need this great income or profit, so wondering why you think we don't need a bull run of course we do only someone who doesn't hold any token can say this, if you think it's not needed what do you think about those who bought around the bullrun last year, to keep losing right?

This is a good topic for a debate as I thought that also but as I learn different areas of financials especially the currency, I understand that in order to have that stability, you should have good support thus the mass adoption. Even in the traditional currency when they introduced that before, it suffered also this kind of volatility then when mass support came in, price movement became stable. In trading though it's not good thus they introduce the leveraging.

So order for us to attain that stability we have that huge support unless new technology would be worked out to neglect price movement.

The cryptocurrency network as well the entire user community haven't experienced any good bull run for a long. Recently the bitcoin volume fell much low, which shows that people are losing hope as well it is getting similar to other investments. A good bull run at the earliest will easily make the community grow.

A lot of people came to crypto after its furious growth in 2017. Such cases help us attract people, so I don't see anything wrong with bull run. In order to use crypto in everyday life, there are many more problems to be solved besides its instability. As long as there are bulls, the races will continue. After all, who has more money and he can manage the market.

I for one although, i like the idea of an upsurge, but not bullrun, because many who think crypto is a bubble, are waiting for it to skyrocket and then crash, but if it continues this way without bull run, then there is every likelihood for it to be sustained. Although, there should always be upsurge in price.

The bull run will be an essential premise for the development of cryptocurrency in 2019. And the end of 2018 is a critical moment, so my opinion is that we need to have a bull run to be able to expect that the 2019 cryptocurrency market will be better than the market cap.

Did you mean cryptocurrency will better on its marketcap valuation? The Bullrun can attract the newcomers. They will try to rush the market caused by the bullrun of crypto. It's an important part in the speculation market dude. I'm not a hypocrite person but everyone was aiming for the Bullrun to make them being the next rich person.

I don't think we need a bull run in this year as long as we see our investments growing even the current value of any currency is not that big enough to get a higher chance of earning we still have a patience in our self to wait for another great progress. And I think we just need a stable value of Bitcoin in order to maintain our investments in his natural amounts.

Joe can pay for service with usdTether or any other token/coin that dont jump so much . People want to earn profit on investment they made . There is 2 types of people who make Investment in blockchain as a whole and the ones who just lets say buy bitcoin to transfer money to somebody else and dont really care about other stuff .

Whether we need it or not, it will still happen and no one can stop it.
This is the cycle of every market, after we experience a big dump for sure bull run will be the next trend. Its good for us to hold more good coins now and wait for the next bull run, it can happen anytime at the moment.

I believe that 2019 will be better than this year. but I do not agree if this year is a critical year for cryptocurrency. I see crypto this year even better than in past years, market prices look more stable because of slower market movements. it makes ccrypto growth also slow. it doesn't become a problem, rather than a fast moving market but a dump, it gets worse.

Because of the term bearish market , which is the great market falldown of price value in the market , so for the counter of this market falldown , then we really need a bullrun so that we can also recover from this falldown and can make a new move is the price of the market will rise up and will be back to its normal and uprising of price value of coins in the market.

The bull run is not only about profit, but it is also one of the indicator show that there are still many investors put their fund in crypto, bull run also mean that the crypto still in healthy condition with a lot of transaction volume, I understand how people see the volatility become obstacle for daily usage, maybe with huge adoption the volatility could be surpress, the balance between demand and supply could make the price more stable

We could really use one, I am here waiting for the next bull run so I can make a lot of money from the coins that I have been holding for a long time, there is no way that we are going to see another bull run this year, I know that much but I am still hoping that it happens. Now the price of bitcoin is maintaining a stable pace, once there is more money coming in then we go into a bull market

Cryptocurrency offers us profit in many ways, in fsct we can actually earn without the bullrun, day traders actually earn in a short period of time. But still, I want to see some bullruns in our market. Like you said, everyone is expecting a bullrun to end this year. The market has been down for a long time now.

Bull runs and bear runs will happen rather we 'need' them or not.  I'm not so interested in bull or bear markets because it's not a personally influenced thing... it's just what the markets do based on people's opinions.

This is selfish but what I would like to see is a price around $10K if for nothing else than to be easier to do math with.  But again, that's not really a fair rationale for price.

actually, we do not need a bull run, but rather a natural growth and acceptance of crypto in general. in the long run, this is better for the crypto market. a new bull run will come at some point, but it may not be necessary.

Bull run is certainly quite a number of highly anticipated for this year. This is certainly not in spite of it's been such a long time of not going on a hike that is arguably quite profitable. This certainly will be able to benefit many parties were already preparing to hold their crypto since long.

For me I think they are two different things altogether, remember that tokens are utility tokens and most of them will be used within the project platform, So I think when cryptos goes mainstream and people starts using these token for it's real utility the price will stabilize, currently people into crypto space at the moment are the ones looking to make profit by buying and selling these tokens, I believe things will change in the future, and I think we really need bull run which will attract more people in the space.

We all need a bull run there is no doubt about that, we all need one so that we can start to see better prices in our coins. Most of us are losing a lot right now with the bear market and there is nothing that we all want better than to have another bull market. If we can at least see a recovery then there is no problem with that, we just need better prices

There is a lot of things to consider before we can go into another bull run and going into a bull run now is not a very great alternative since we still need more adoption so that when the coins does bull there will be a lot of people who believe that they can actually make a good amount of money from the coins

When market conditions cause all coin prices to decline, an investor will experience various kinds of turmoil in the mind. So is the case with bounty hunters. When choosing to hold, fear of losing a lot of capital.

very reasonable if investors begin to doubt crypto because market conditions are indeed very worrying. investors need refresher so they don't run away and leave crypto, therefore bullrun is needed so that crypto does not lose its investors.

I have different views on this. Bull market is the best publicity for encryption. It can also be said that the bull market will promote the development of encryption. It will enable more and more people to enter encryption, focus on encryption, and understand encryption. This is very good for the whole market.
