Title: Important HITBTC Question?!
Post by: bpchill12 on October 19, 2018, 09:25:46 AM
So I bought some BTC on coinbase and transferred it to hitbtc and all the transactions were confirmed but my btc wallet still shows as empty. Has anyone experienced this? Does it just take time for the BTC to deposit? I just really wanted to buy some PCL :-\

Don't panic, please post your TXID of your transaction it will help us to know the transaction was confirmed or in pending. Some times the transaction will take more time for all confirmations after that only your BTC will show up of exchange's wallet.

But another chance maybe its exchange's fault so if you are waiting too long then you need to contact support team because already lot of similar cases were there on that exchange.

how long have you been doing transactions, because I've also experienced the same thing. to make a transaction on hitbtc I need less than an hour.
in exchange, hitbtc has two places to store assets. first to save and another to trade

I have used Hitbtc previously but didn't have such problems. However, it is quite common to see this problem. First of all, you need to make sure that you sent it to the correct address.  If everything is fine on your side, then my suggestion is that you need to contact their support through the appropriate channel.  They don't seem to have any active Telegram.  Beware of scammers and you shouldn't be sending extra funds even if this is requested.
But here after you need to be careful while using the HitBTC exchange because there were lot of scam accusations on them.

1.HitBTC SCAM (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2790367.0)
2.Hitbtc.com is a scamsite- beware (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2217068.0)
3.HitBTC scam! (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2556342.0)
4.Hitbtc.com is SCAM! 19 BTC (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2437121.0) and so on........

You can try on Hotbit or IDEX yet these are the other markets of PCL. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/peculium/#markets

but among the list i do trust Hitbtc instead even though they do have some issues but im still using it nowadays and its completely fine on my side.If balance didnt
reflect on your asset wallet then most probable thing that the PCL wallet of Hit is either on maintenance or havent updated.

I made the mistake of transferring Siacoin to HitBTC around a year ago.  Still haven't been able to access it.

I think it's just a matter of time, and don't panic because all transactions depend on each market's confirmation. today I also just did WD at HITBTC and entered my wallet. Good luck

I have never experienced it as you told me, because I am not actively trading on hitbtc, if you experience problems you can contact hitbtc customer service, you can ask questions and reply to your problems, I think it's the best way

Has your transaction yet been successful? Maybe the network is busy at the moment so it requires more patience, but some of my experience doing that does take a long time. Stay optimistic that your Bitcoin will arrive soon.

I've experienced something similar like you but it's that's everything still in the process of deposit. no need to worry because Hitbtc is a good exchange place for Altcoin. sometimes it takes a long time to process deposit in Hitbtc.  :)

I don't have the experience as you, and I think my transaction doesn't take too long to arrive in my wallet. But I don't like to see the fee on the altcoin or token because it seems it doesn't make sense. I don't know how much the fee when you want to withdraw your bitcoin later, and if you see that the fee is too high, then I suggest you convert to waves to get cheap withdraw fee. You don't have to panic when you don't see your bitcoin in the wallet because it will arrive when the transaction completed.

I hope if it is the exchange's fault, he will be able to get anything from support. We all know how HitBTC support is like; which is one of the main reasons why a lot of traders have tried as much as possible to avoid this exchange like a plague. It could be the transaction time, let's hope that is the case, but for now, if it is actually a problem from the exchange part, which may be a real tough issue to get resolved with the support.

We have seen cases like this before even on this thread that the said person just ended up accepting their losses and if it ended up being that case for OP, I hope it was not something huge.

do you had wrong transfering to other contract address? If yes, it has been explained in warning (reminder-notice) when you want to make a deposit. then if, there is mistake on their system, doesn't credit your balance, I thought you need to follow up thought ticket support.

Thank you guys, still waiting on hit btc to reply. I messaged their customer service.
It's might take a couple hours to being get a feedback or reply.

Well, all I would advise now is to just chill. It could be the confirmation, even though HitBTC has never been reliable and we have heard of different complications and difficulties by so many people when it comes to using this exchange and for the fact that their support is shitty.

I will advise that even if you end up getting out of this, if it is just a normal technical thing that delayed the transaction, you should still try to stay clear using HitBTC in the long run. It is always better to be safe than to be sorry.

I've experience several times on HITBTC when my deposit says it's done but it does not appear. I waited for several hours or even days on some transactions before it appeared though.

I have experience using this exchange. And I can not say anything bad about it. I had no problems working with this exchange. The only thing I don’t like is the high commissions.

I have used this exchange many times and there was no problem. I agree that this exchange has high commissions for withdrawal and there are limits on the number of tokens for trading, but the exchange is proven and stable.

I recommend that you wait a few more hours and then write to support.

I think you have to forget those coins because we cans see that there were lot of people give feedbacks that they never got their coins even after year too so if that is small amount you may get a lesson from it.Maybe they will reply your support ticket so wait with the hope, pray well.

Sorry! I have never had problems with this exchange, it happens that I have to wait for 30 confirmations of transactions, but then everything is OK.

I think they are having several problems, and some of their wallet's withdrawals are disabled... that can never be a good thing..

I see another problem, can you recommend BCH to point out the address of the system that generates this address is not for BCH. It's been going on for a month.

My last deposit here took almost 18 hr to get thru lol, its not a bad exchange its not a good one but its okay the only thing i hate is the high commission and the security. i think they are not paying attentions to those kind of things. security should be the highest priority of the exchange to safe guard the tokens other than that nothing much, since average tokens are being listed their after ico thats why i like to scope some there before it hit major exchange

when your transaction is not entered you may have to try to create a ticket for hitbtc and try to contact hitbtc using the email available on hitbtc usually available a "ticket" to consult all kinds of problems with your account.

Hitbtc has a system health feature (https://hitbtc.com/system-health) that you can actually check the status of a coin or token if its is operational or having problems at the moment try to check this feature first before making any transactions to avoid problems Im using hitbtc for more than a year now and did not experienced any problems other than delays depends on network.

I have used it for a long time but I have never faced such a problem. There might have some issue for some coin also dev may update it which don't know by the exchange and if so exchange cant let us know and in this way it can take longer time than usual.
