Title: Account banned
Post by: godspree2 on October 21, 2018, 10:00:25 AM
Hello admins!
My account https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1148894 has been banned. Could you explain to me why? and is it possible somehow to recreate it?

Copy and pasting. Accounts aren't unbanned for this.

I am not certain of the reason for the ban. Majority of bans are for pliagarism or ban evasion.
There is no possibility to recreate your account. (you can only appeal, by making a single post in meta as you have done. )
And any of your alts discovered posting outside meta would also be banned. As the ban is in the user and includes any account he/she holds.

Copy and pasting. Accounts aren't unbanned for this.
May I suggest that reason for ban be added to permaban as it is for a temporary ban? This would reduce such inquiries (some users would surely still ask though)

May I suggest that people read the rules and stop copy and pasting. Problem solved.

The main advantage of bitcoin is freedom in payments. With Bitcoin it is very possible to be able to send and get money anywhere in the world at any given time. You don’t have to worry about crossing borders, rescheduling for bank holidays, or any other limitations one might think will occur when transferring money.
You are in control of your money with Bitcoin. There is no central authority figure in the Bitcoin network.

The main difference thatb distingushes ethereum from other cryptocurrencies is that ethereum has smart contract capabilities built in. In other words, there is a scripting language, Solidity, which allows developers to write smart contract capability into distributed applications.

That may be true. But copy pasting from articles on the internet is just as bad, if not worse.  ;D

There should be a fee for ban appeals. Could be refunded if the appeal is successful.

You and several users copied text about Waves from each other probably.

Copy:

Waves is just the opposite to ETH probably. What they do is develop Bitcoin scripting, do everything using contracts, it’s very fundamental but makes certain things very complicated. Waves took another road, where things are simpler, very easy to add all functionality you need using plug-ins, don’t have to code complicated contracts.

Also waves focus is on mass adoption, specifically target two markets : fiat transfers on blockchain and crowdfunding on blockchain. They are very ripe for disruption, and waves will be offering a product for a very general audience, basically the main end-user client is just a plugin you can install from Chrome or FF store.

I agree that waves is better than Ethereum but it can't kill ETH.

  So in more simple term;

Ethereum is a smart contract platform which allows other project to run on it, waves is a gateway for investors who wants to enter the crypto space. I can't really tell which one is best, both have good prospect.
