Title: [ASK] - Increase BTT Rank Post by: phoinex on October 22, 2018, 01:33:42 PM Hello everyone, I have been thinking a few days to be able to raise the rank in a BTT account. Therefore, I am curious for an international forum here, is there a guide to making interesting Treads to get a merit?
If I am in my local forum there are some treads that are made into a discussion if a tread made is good and interesting it will get a merit. Is it here? Thank you very much for your answers Title: Re: [ASK] - Increase BTT Rank Post by: coin8coin8 on October 22, 2018, 01:41:44 PM I am very surprised, you have already got 12 merits, why would you ask such a newbie question?
I noticed you have got 8 merits in your local section Indonesia, so what are you looking for? Just keep going and you can do it. Title: Re: [ASK] - Increase BTT Rank Post by: Lakai01 on October 23, 2018, 04:11:49 AM There are plenty of "Guide how to get Merits" topics spread across the forum. Just read some of them and you will get your answers. Its definitly easier for non native English speakers to get merits in local boards in my opinion. To get merits in an English part of the forum your English has to be very good because besides the "what" you say the "how" matters, too.
Title: Re: [ASK] - Increase BTT Rank Post by: Screamshot on October 23, 2018, 06:11:31 AM You have more than 10 merit it's so confusing that you ask such questions.
You can get merit from any board or thread. Although no one memeber is entitled or instructed to merit you. But the are a good number of smerit sources that are on the look out for positively impactfull post. But let your focus not get twisted there are a good number of reasons we are all in this forum and merit is just and added advantage Title: Re: [ASK] - Increase BTT Rank Post by: cryptovigi on October 23, 2018, 11:46:03 AM ... is there a guide to making interesting Treads to get a merit? ... You've already answered yourself - make an interesting Thread and you'll probably get a merit You'll find dozens of guides how to get merit - but they tell you only: write good looking, well written (good speling and gramar), interesting/helpful/meaningful posts. And that's enough - it's all you have to know - rest is up to you. Just think about the topic what could be useful or interesting for others - no one tell you what should it be because it could be ANYTHING - story from your own life, guide for creating crypto wallet or protecting from hackers, some stats research, simply everything!!! ... If I am in my local forum there are some treads that are made into a discussion if a tread made is good and interesting it will get a merit. Is it here? ... You can "hunt for merits" both in local board or main ones. From my own experiences it's easier to get them on main boards (English spoken) but it depends on local community and its merit activity.... for example 17 - 20% of all merits were given on Russian local threads... Title: Re: [ASK] - Increase BTT Rank Post by: nakamura12 on October 23, 2018, 12:05:03 PM Make something new that is not new to this forum like a meme or something like that. In that way you can make an interesting thread. Some merit sources will give merit to funny post or a guide, also avoid posting irrelevant post that the forum staff don't want in this forum and surely it will be removed. Try gaining information from the post that has a lots of merit. Check the Merit Stats (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;stats=toptopicsat).
Title: Re: [ASK] - Increase BTT Rank Post by: DdmrDdmr on October 23, 2018, 01:32:15 PM <…> In general, posting solely on a local board means that the speed at which you will rank-up will be way slower than if you also post decent meritable content on the global English boards. I’ve taken a look at some data I gathered from local boards (see Analysis - Ranked-up Users – Section/Subsection profile (& Local Boards) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5020761.msg45296625#msg45296625)), and specifically your local Indonesian board had, at the time of the post (prior to the 1 merit for Jr. Member requirement), 160 ranked-up forum members that needed merit to rank-up (to Member and above). Out of those, 94 had ranked-up exclusively by merits received on the Indonesian local board. The other 66 were therefore merited on other boards too. In your specific case, most of the posts you’ve made are on the Altcoin boards (local and global), at it would likely be better to open up to other boards too, avoiding mega-threads in general. |
