Title: Bitcoin provided opportunity for Kenyan "crypto-pioneer"

Ms Wambugu started trading in Bitcoin two years ago and and within a year she made enough money to buy the two-storey Nyeri hotel, which she converted to Betty's Place, her bbq restaurant. She also teaches customers how to trade and use Bitcoin.

Africa will represent blockchain's ability to democratize opportunity even for the geographically challenged. Once smartphone use and internet access expands, 350 million Africans are going to be able to do the same thing.

Blockchain technology has found wide user acceptance throughout Africa. I've seen this in many news reports. Apparently it's putting power back into the hand of people. This is making a huge difference to their lives.

She is actually doing a great work to promote Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies in her country. With her success and acceptance of Bitcoin and Dash as payment methods from her customers is encouraging new comers to learn about cryptos in general.

Without any doubt most of the international clients carry Bitcoin's and other cryptos these days, and her hotel is no less than a palace for them to eat some great stuff without having the burden of huge fees of credit cards. Such type of women are really empowering other women to also join the journey by being independent with the use of Bitcoins.

It is somewhat unfortunate that people like her are very rare because most of Bitcoin users use it as a private form of money, and people also refuse to accept it because most of them have been scammed by "ponzi schemes" sometimes in their life. But, still her story is really encouraging and inspiring to me, and I would love to see more and more people to do some great stuff life she did.

Kudos to Beatrice Wambugu. A very inspiring success story with her bitcoin journey. I'm sure that many are like hers but doesn't want to show themselves for protection and anonymity.

She's doing good by earning and promoting at the same bitcoin to her customers. Considering the location of his establishment she'll really gonna rake profits with it. Good luck to her business and more success for her with bitcoin.

I hope that this would encourage bigger companies to start investing on Kenya and build more crypto related shops.

The area of establishment of bitcoin has been increasing day by day and more and more people are now joining bitcoin and are investing into bitcoin as most of the people are now very well aware of the potential of bitcoin and they even know that bitcoin is going to provide them very good profit in the future and therefore many countries has also legalised bitcoin in their nation few countries are South Korea, japan, Florida and many more and it is very good that Kenya 🇰🇪 is also one of them.

She got out first of the dip? Good for her.

This is some of the good things bitcoin provides us. It can provide more in the few years to come. Simply holding bitcoin for years will yield you real profits.

While I salute to Ms. Wambagu for her commendable achievements, this is a very rare scenario and not everyone can accomplish the same like her! It is one of a kind success story of a crypto trader. However, if the penetration of internet expands in Africa, a lot more people will become more financially stable with the help of cryptos. Crypto currencies have already changed lives of millions for good and it will continue this way, but being a highly successful entrepreneur like Ms. Wambagu will not be possible for every one.

Also with the increased adoption of internet, a significant number of African (especially Nigerian) scammers will shift their focus to cryptos. That posses a significant challenge to the entire crypto economy! Proper crypto education will be needed to overcome and bypass their scamming efforts.

Ms. Wambagu is a true inspiration for many would be entrepreneurs of this world, which shows that a fearless mind to accept new challenges and a open heart to learn new things will always see success and nothing else!

The opportunity provided by bitcoin is not only for few but for anyone with the use of common internet and the ability to understand blockchain and few tips on how to to operate on an exchange. There are a lot of new enthusiastic traders making gains in kenya with trading.

It's really nice, especially that there aren't many known females in crypto circles, so an African female very good. She is doing an important work by teaching people to use and trade bitcoins in rural areas of Kenya. Cryptos are important to such countries, because this is really their chance to skip a part of economic development and move forward already. Most of these people never dealt with banks and they will probably never have to if cryptos get popular enough. This can actually lead to an economic boom of African countries when the West will suffer from dollar devaluation and money laundering scandals.

Ms Wambugu started trading ~ two years ago and and within a year she made enough money to buy the two-storey Nyeri hotel, which she converted to Betty's Place, her bbq restaurant.

Africa will represent blockchain's ability to democratize opportunity even for the geographically challenged.

read the above edited quote and you will see how wrong your second statement is!
this has nothing to do with "blockchain's ability" or bitcoin even. it is talking about trading. she might have traded anything else and eventually made the same amount of money (granted it would have taken a little longer) and could have done the same!

utilizing bitcoin and its technology is done by those Africans that have been mining bitcoin then used this boarder-less and censorship resistance currency to purchase food from foreign countries and have it delivered so that they can feed their country this way and make profit.

This shows how bitcoin can change someone's life and also simultaneously can create job opportunities. Africa's adoption to bitcoin is a global symbol and many more users will soon join which will change their economy.

This is a really good news for the African community. Inspite of being geographically challenged, the expansion of internet and the affordability has helped people all accross Africa.
