Binance as the top and most popular exchange of all. Where do you live? there might be some better exchange near you that's easier to use.

For decentralized exchange, I'm using idex.

This is a list of many exchanges with a review so check all of them if you want: https://www.cryptocompare.com/exchanges/#/overview

What crypto exchanges can you recommend?

Based on your recent post (qouted below) , I will assumed you already know how to deal with your question.

There are too many crypto exchangers all over the world you can choose for buying bitcoin like for example on Binance or HitBTC the low price. You can check in localbitcoin they are low price from other exchanger.

No need for recommendation from us. You know what to do now.

You have an idea about it.

What crypto currency you are holding then choose the exchange based on that, already people said Binance is the best yes because of low transaction fee but if you are having more volume to trade then pick where you are getting high prices for your coins.

Great Centralized Exchanges
Binance
The speed at which Binance has become the top crypto exchange in the world is staggering. In a few short months, it has dominated the market. For good reason, too. It offers a lot of features, trading pairs, security, and liquidity along with low fees. Its Binance Coin also incentivizes trading and lowers fees.

Bittrex
Bittrex is based in Seattle and they’ve gained a reputation for wanting to strictly follow U.S. regulations. They’re a safe, well-established option for trading with good customer support.

Cryptopia
Cryptopia is known as an exchange for trading niche or less popular altcoins. They have low fees and good customer support. However, they don’t accept Ethereum and the small nature of the exchange means low volume for trading.

KuCoin
KuCoin is a Hong Kong based crypto exchange. The unique part of their approach is they redistribute the profits from the operation of the exchange through their native currency, KuCoin Shares.

Poloniex
Poloniex was among the top cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. However, its popularity has waned in the face of new competitors, customer support issues, and problems with withdrawals.

Great Decentralized exchanges

IDEX

Idex is a popular name in the sector of decentralised crypto exchanges. This exchange platform launched in September 2017. Idex supports over 200 tokens, based on the ERC-20 tokens. For starters, the user interface of Idex is simple and intuitive, and it makes the trading experience for its users smoother and more convenient.

It regulates heavy traffic as compared to other DEXs. The transactions are kept in a properly readable ledger. Security is maintained by the platform too by taking necessary measures. The Idex experience is an amazing overall experience when it comes to pure crypto trading.

You need note that not all cryptocurrencies are available on this exchange. The fee charged by Idex on the trades is relatively lower than similar exchanges. Idex has an active community which is a huge plus for beginners.

They are active on multiple online communication channels like Reddit and Telegram. Most of the user queries are addressed there, and users can indulge in discussions on any related topics. A chat box is also active on the website for the visitors.

Bancor

Bancor is actually quite a unique decentralized exchange that is in its own class. It is in essence a blockchain protocol that is designed to bring liquidity to tokens that are lacking a consistent supply and demand in conventional exchanges. Unlike exchanges, it allows the direct conversion of different tokens. Bancor offers a network which is built upon smart contracts and a novel class of cryptocurrencies known as "Smart Tokens". Smart tokens make it possible for direct internal conversion of different ERC-20 tokens. It has one of the highest trading volume of all decentralized exchanges out there.

OpenLedger Dex

OpenLedger DEX is a decentralised exchange to trade cryptocurrency and tokens. It has over 50 supported tokens, and is constantly growing its database to accept more and more cryptos. The user base is large, and rightfully so due to the smartly encrypted and decentralized trading platform that is OpenLedger. One can even send cryptocurrencies from other exchanges with the OpenLegder Wallet and then trade with the same.

With a minimal trading fee of 0.2%, OpenLedger is a profitable choice too. There is no fee for fiat deposits above $50, for any deposit below that, you will have to pay a deposit fee of 2%. Their platform handles over 100,000 transactions per second, thus high performance reliability is assured. To add to all of this, the support team is available around the clock on email or messenger apps.

Waves Dex

Waves Dex bets on always making sure its tech is up-to-date. The Waves DEX is popular for its fast and fluidic UI coupled. The constant updates is another big reason for traders to use Waves. With newer versions releasing quite frequently, this DEX is an outstanding one to use.

The Waves Dex platform averages more than $6 Million USD of volume to show for real liquidity. The UI is as fast and easy to use like anything. This experience will be a really fluidic one. You can find over 60+ trading pairs and new ones are constantly being added. You can trade on the go as they have a mobile app.

The exchange has received bad press as there have been accusations that fake coins are being listed. However, none of the claims have been proved so far. As this is a new cryptocurrency exchange, we advise you to wait before you invest your money into this.

Radar Relay

Radar Relay is not so much an exchange as it a “relay.” It leverages the blockchain technology to show for decentralisation and the 0x protocol to trade Ethereum based tokens. You aren’t required to sign up or deposit any tokens. The transactions can be handled directly from a wallet to another. Besides, It also supports both Ledger Nano S as well as MetaMask .Radar Relay also comes in the form of API integration.

To trade, I recommend Binance, you can try it first. In my opinion, besides having a good volume, binance also has high security and the type of coin offered is quite a lot. Besides that, I have seen lately that Binance has a trading volume greater than Bittrex.

There are two kinds of exchanges decentralized and centralized  For decentralized, I use Idex and for centralized I use Binance and Kucoin. The charges are on the higher side on Binance and Kucoin. All these exchange have good volume and almost all coins/tokens are being traded in these exchange.

There are more exchanges now available among that i would choose binance. Binance is the best exchange with high volume and it is one of the most trusted exchange by many bitcoin holders. The security is very high  and the transaction speed is also high. The transaction fees is normal and it supports lot of coins. It is one of the top most exchange in the market.

I will recommend binance, coinbene, Houbi and okex these exchange are good to use to do some actual trade in the platform.
But most probably I often used so far was coinbene and Binance, because the coin which I have to their platform are very movable where everyday I have a chance to earned, therefore I do day trade or scalping.

Except maybe for those who are actually holding some few tokens or coins from ICOs, I will say you should choose your exchanges first. Despite the fact that you are holding certain cryptocurrencies, making sure you are actually trading them on an exchange that is reputable is one thing I tend to consider a lot.

For instance, most of this shit exchanges, tend to make easy listing which in this case, you actually do not want to be on an exchange where you can easily end up losing your whole funds eventually, would you? At most times, you should even preferably wait for the coin to hit a better exchange first. That being said, I will say till date, I am still a big a fan of Binance until I see another good alternative, for so many reasons which I am sure a lot of people know already.

Binance is most popular exchange, but it is crypto-to-crypto. If you need to deal with both fiat and crypto, go to CEX. It is also quite popular and easy to use. You can trade either crypto for crypto there, or fiat for crypto (https://cex.io/eth-btc). Also, Coinbase is a large cryptoto-fiat exchange. You should also take into account your location because some exchanges have geographical restrictions.

Poloniex, bitfinex, bitrex, kucoin, binance are just some of the exchanges I use, some of them for more than 2 years. Depends on your trading activities you need to be registered on couple of them minimum, if you like to trade with new tokens like to than you need to include less known exchanges like idex market is, allcoin, and many more of them. I`m here for a long time and believe me I`m registered on many of them, some of them I used only couple times because I couldn`t trade with some tokens on other exchanges. All in all I use reputable exchanges mostly, now kucoin is one of exchanges I use mostly, but everyone need to be open for new things, new exchanges, if you wish to participate in nice promotions, get some nice rewards if you are one of the first people.

there are 2 big differences in exchange crypto, namely decentralized exchange and exchange centralization.
good centralization in my opinion is binance, OKEx, huobi and hitbtc. they are safe to make transactions, trades, withdraw with awesome help desk support.
decentralized exchange where you directly interact on the market without third party assistance. some recommendations are IDEX, forkdelta and etherdelta.

Binance and Bittrex are actually the two exchanges I can recommend personally right now. For most part of it, I will always recommend Binance any time any day, based on the fees, reputation, the chances of more development, the volume, the support, name them, all in one, that makes it a superb exchange to make use of.

However, you still need to understand that it is an exchange and you have none of your private keys which make you vulnerable to any thing that happens with the exchange in the long run, just as we saw with MtGox. Also, you need to always try as much as possible to keep your account very secured, as this is the best way you can at least not get screwed by hackers easily.

Well, as for the OP's question we can see a lot of different suggested exchanges. Most of them are good, like Binance, Kucoin and other top ranked exchanges. But, it's all up to a person who finds a certain exchange comfortable to trade in terms of fees, transactions, and safety.
PS. Op must try all of the best exchanges and choose what to use at your own comfortable pace.

Sometimes it is best to go for your local exchanger (some countries have their own exchange) so if you do, maybe it’s best if you go for it, ask those living in your location that are also into cryptocurrency. If not you can choose exchanges like Cryptopia, Bitfinex, Poloniex or Binance. Those living in the states might prefer Coinbase due to their level of safety. But what some people don’t like about them is fees.

I would say safety comes first so good comments and feedbacks from other customers matter. In addition to that it is important to simplify instructions and make tools easy to locate and navigate through them. Newbies will also like 24/7 support to ask questions if any arise.
Luckily most of lead exchanges have all those benefits ;)

feedbacks/reviews can be easily fake because they can be bought from different kinds of people in any parts of the world , so if i were you i wont start looking on them just to tell if the website or exchange is good or no good .

user friendly sites are indeed more attractive especially if a newbie is accesing it  but even if veteran and pro users like me will always prefer sites that is simple and easy to use when compared to fancy sites that may seem to be more confusing  .

costumer support is another important factor to look on but a newbie friendly site do always come up with a q&a or faq section to answer some basic queries more faster .

It all depends on what you’re after, they all have something that makes them different each starting from the looks, chart and a lot more. But if we what we are talking about is in terms of safety then I will recommend Coinbase. Coinbase is really one of the best exchanges you will come across and not only is it safe, but is also a good a exchange with extra features to offer including a secured wallet. Coinbase also same as the other exchanges which maybe hacked since we are not in control of our wallets,we don't have to use the crypto exchanges to store our coins unless you are an active trader and also you need to keep in mind that it can be hacked any time so better move to wallets soon after the trades and coinbase may not be preference for all because where few coins were listed and they are adding more coins and tokens recently.

These days that it is even a lot more interesting when it comes to using APIs from these exchanges to make you trade on a single trading platform for instance like Coinigy even gives it a lot of sense for those who may be looking to trade on different exchanges.

As long as an exchange still remains reputable, a lot of people are using it, and there is a huge level of transparency in the way they operate, with the possible features in place, then there is no problem taking advantage of them. In this case, it is imperative to always look at the reviews and see how well they have been doing.

It based on which tokens you want to exchange. If i recommend you an exchange but tokens may not enlisted there. So its fully upto you. You can follow CMC(Coin market Cap) for exchanger. You will get full exchanger update. Before exchange any tokens must follow the exchange rate and compare with other exchanger. best of luck.

I can recommend a lot of them, they all have things that makes them a bit different from others. It can be fees, chart etc. It all differs in every of them. But if I’m t recommend one I would say you should go for Coinbase. It’s very simple fee newbies, the only problem is that it’s not available for every location… so I think I should take it out (if their full service is unavailable to you). Next can be Binance, it’s quite popular and you will see a lot of people mention it in this forum.

In the past, when I got into the world of trading, I choose Bittrex and Poloniex as the best changers, but the Era increasingly growing and now Bittrex and Poloniex already left behind, traders now prefer to trade in Binance because volume there is higher than other Exchangers.
Yes, Binance has a much higher volume, but it doesn't mean that with a low volume like Bittrex it is not recommended and I also have a history that is not much different from you, because at first I also traded in Bittrex and Poloniex at that time and there were still many exchanges I used it in the past, which at the moment has been left behind by new exchanges that are better and more popular. All exchanges have their advantages and disadvantages in everything, so I feel that whatever exchange you use if you feel comfortable, it will be an exchange of the best choices for you personally.

A lot of them are really good. You just have to to check them out and know which one is better for you. Maybe you should go for Binance, if you’re interested in an exchange that charges less fees for transaction. I will also recommend OKEx, it’s a good exchange and I think it is under regulation. I also see some people mention Poloniex, but I haven’t tried it, many has labeled it as a scam.

Yeah that's true binance is one of the top exchanges with bigger liquidity. I also like with kucoin, cryptopia, bancor which I have no issues with my transactions.

If you are a beginner, I suggest choosing a binance exchange, why is that? because I think binance is currently one of the exchanges with a very high exchange volume so you can feel more comfortable in trading with a lot of trading volume.

What crypto exchanges can you recommend?
A lot of them are really good. You just have to to check them out and know which one is better for you. Maybe you should go for Binance, if you’re interested in an exchange that charges less fees for transaction. I will also recommend OKEx, it’s a good exchange and I think it is under regulation. I also see some people mention Poloniex, but I haven’t tried it, many has labeled it as a scam.
Yes it all depends on the needs we have because there are no perfect exchanges. we must be able to take advantage of every advantage possessed by the exchange, in my opinion reputation and security are important. For the issue of transaction fees I will not be afraid, because in my opinion security is a top priority. If there is an exchange that is very cheap, it will not mean if the exchanges do not have a good level of security. Make sure we choose the best and never be tempted by any services that are announced unclearly !!!

There are many exchanges such as bitfinex, okex, huobi, kraken, bibox, hitbtc, kucoin which are well-known, dependable, believable, reliable, loyal etc. Very few exchanges are as trustworthy as Binance.Binance is one of the most secured exchange in crypto-world.

What crypto exchanges can you recommend?
Already someone said Binance is the top exchange. I agree with him but their support is not friendly. Without support trading experience is good. Even I have a running issue with Binance, I am not getting SMS for 2FA in my phone number and that's why I am submitting my information using their system but they sent me a Failer verification email where they had said: "The reason: Cannot upload tampering photos". I am totally surprised. I am giving them my live photo using their verification system. why are they saying like that? anyone can tell me?
Binance is good, but there are still other exchanges that beats it, just like Kraken. Kraken is one of the largest cryptocurrency exchange, and it also has good reputation and its also partnering with the first cryptocurrency bank. Their exchange rates are decent and transaction fees are low, with a minimal deposit fees which is one thing I love most about them. Although it’s good, but I won’t really recommend it to a beginner and seems like the op is one of them.

I agree with this, in binance, he can avoid kyc services which almost big exchanges require their traders to fills. He can start to any amount to trade but remember that he should not withdraw more than 2 btc if he doesn't want to fills kyc. Besides that, in binance, he can choose so many coins but of course, he needs to have skills to start trading.
