Firstblood is one, if not the one, of the first gaming related cryptocurrency out there. It has also been conducting weekly tournaments where they give firstblood coins. Although i don't know what its current status now, I believe the features stated in the article have been available for a while now.

Well we've got plenty of casino's now that are doing this since before. The article isn't saying too much and details are lack of more words on what its really all about. I believe that e-sports has an edge to integrate with blockchain and this is being applied already, this is innovation.

This is not "earning", this is gambling, I don't think I will go betting on Bitcoin with someone else in a game, which will make me always in a state of tension when playing games, which is very tired.

I certainly do not like to play DotA 2 but I know that this is a very big game world with a lot of players and I think it will attract even more users to the game.

It was great time when bitcoin was initially get launched and at that time mostly Bitcoin was used majorly for gaming industry, like as for betting and gambling with casino and poker. But now time is changed. Bitcoin is become more valuable.

Interesting, a new thing that can usually use a faucet with claims, this time bitcoin uses good technology in games, especially it's dota, where dota is a game that has a big name in the gaming world.

Wagering is a normal scenario here in the Philippines when it comes with playing Dota2. The only difference is that you can wager to players in random. I think it's really good for players who really wanted to earn by just playing the game.  I like the idea.

Wow it is something that I have been waiting for ,
I have played DOTA since I was in High school and we always place some bet to earn something from what we like to do.
But betting online with your own play in DOTA2 seem's like there would be a lot of player who would like to do it.

The concept is definitely not unique, The only issue I have with something like this is how they will ensure that people didn't use hacks to win the match, Many pro-players are considered to be hacking when they usually play against noobs. I get it that there will be a match referee and a witness But these hacks are quite subtle and they are hard to detect. Plus whats stopping players to use something like OpenAI. They can literally make a bank if they secretly use it to play against random people.

The dream scenario for FirstBlood team would be if they could Partner up with OpenAI and give like Couple of thousand dollars to anyone who manages to defeat OpenAI. It has almost become impossible to defeat OpenAI in Dota 2 Solos. Anyway, the potential is huge. I hope they do its marketing right. This could bring in many new people to the world of cryptos.


All they need to do is introduce some sort of a faucet or a daily reward system and this could go big among Dota 2 players.

Great news! If the DOTA really starts to distribute bitcoins, it will attract even more attention to it. Now Dota is one of those games that have a reputation in the world gaming arena.

I have dota2 on my linux laptop paying sometimes but if i can collect rewards i would play much more :D

I know this game from people who are between 20-30 age and when I saw graphics and etc, I am amazex why they play this, it's a very childy but nevermind, there are so great prizes, I would play 24/7 this game too, there was 25 million dollar prize, imagine... A lot of people watches their live, adding crypto tournament is great addition, btw imagine there is fixed 100 bitcoin, worths 600K and during contest, it becomes 6 million, it's more addictive and adrenaline rush like.

If such tournaments were made with the idea of choosing the type of rewards in btc or fiat, in more games, there would be even more people, just for the curiosity of winning it.

firstblood app is not giving any bitcoin to gamers.

That is a very intersting idea but not something new , there are some oter tokens like Referum which pay you tokens for playing games , and you can change the token into bitcoin in bitrex or some other exchange.

This is too good to be true. I am a DOTA player myself this opens up a whole new world of earning for me. With the massive amount of DOTA players around the globe, this could be the next hit.

Earning through playing, dream come true for the gamers if they are not professionals. There are a lot of DOTA players who will be greatly benefited. These DApps are doing some amazing jobs.

DApps focused on games are really cool stuffs. A real innovation that leads to profit, although, I understand, the return is not significant. Nonetheless, a great news for dota players who aren't professional yet can earn money while playing!
