Title: Looking for undervalued cryptocurrencies
Post by: FulaerJI on October 26, 2018, 06:01:20 AM
The bear market has been going on for a long time. I noticed that many projects have almost no money. They don't have the money to go to a better exchange, and even the most basic marketing work is impossible because there is no capital.

Now I like to look for projects where the value is undervalued and lack of funds. Can you recommend some with a short description?

This is a very interesting and profitable direction in cryptography. If you manage to find such a project, in the future you can multiply your state at times.

you will have to go to the list of ICO that had ended recently as bear market started. there are lots of them and most of their price dip to its lowest that devteam even thought they might not even make it. some of the lost hope already but if you can find projects that are still hopeful after all what happened, invest to it.

Do you have a couple of examples you have come across that have no funds as I am curious  if they were an ICO or not and what their product is.

I have one which might interest you although I am not sure about their financial position, they did recently pay Cryptopia to be listed which will happen soon as they need to get to grips with their tech, coin is ARO https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/arionum/

thank you.
Arionum is developed in the PHP language, and PHP as a weakly typed language is very dangerous for developing financial related software.
The mainstream of the future world should be a strongly typed language, which is judged by the world's top programing language(PL) experts.

Wow, It seems that you want to multiple your profits by xx times. But it's not most wise decision in current state. Because almost potential projects will be invested and I don't think it's lack of funds. It's hard to find out the projects which you want.

Stakenet (XSN)

They are super ambitious but have already made great headway for their end goal of cross chain interoperability. They invented Trustless Proof of Stake (TPoS) which has been live for months and works great. It is by far the best offline staking solution to date, simple to use and secure. They have confirmed Ledger and Xeeda integration which will allow Cold staking from those devices. They are also developing their own hardware device which will be more than a simple crypto wallet and will have built in smart functions. They were one of the first PoS/MN coins to be Segwit, Lightning and Atomic Swap ready.

They are currently running public testnet for their Lightning channels and swaps which hopefully this weekend will go full public on the mainnet. Its a bit technical at the minute but now they have completed this stage they are about to drop their new wallet which will be a 1 click solution. Lightning is a pretty big deal for Stakenet as it will allow instant transactions by removing block time limitations. As that is removed it will also increase TPS to theoretical billions done through the network by removing block size limitations and at barely any cost.

This is all laying the foundation for interchain connectivity for the new multi-currency wallet which will be hosted on their MN network. Blockchains will be layered on the network meaning you don't need to download the blockchains in the new wallet and just sign transactions via lightning invoices making it super lightweight and fast.

They are building a DEX which with the backbone running through the new lightning network on their MN's they just need to add the orderbook and it will be pretty much done for version one. All trading fee's generated on the DEX will be paid back to MN holders too which is great.

With this core foundation in place they will then start letting 3rd party devs build dapps on the network which can also take advantage of their unique hardware wallet.

They also launched their Cloud services to make crypto easy for beginners so people can just just stake from there. The Cloud currently supports XSN, Strat and PIVX. Decred and Quantum are next to be added with many more on the way. They are also rolling out MNaaS very soon. This is a service they are providing where they setup, maintain and update your MN for you. It's a trustless services so you keep your coins safely in your own wallet offline too so thats great.

Privacy features running through TOR on their MN network are also coming. Again fee's generated from this go to MN holders, in fact all services from DApps running on their network which generate fee's will always be paid to MN holders.

There is loads more so read up on them but the kicker is their Mcap is only $13M so pretty sure that fits your criteria of undervalued.

Just try to recommend some projects that have a working product but they are not getting a lot of hype from the speculators. CRPT, CS, UTNP, Open, ONT and there was a lot of undervalued coin that still develop its product and a lot of beta tested have used their beta app or platforms.

Interesting to see how pans out as one of the best investment decisions to take is now is accumulate undervalued low sats coins that have been torched by the bears market conditions, but with great prospects and an ambitious team. I'm definitely interested in this and I've set notifications for replies that flow in.

Go for "established" top 10 coins - Monero, Ethereum, XRP and Litecoin and of course the mothercoin - bitcoin.
Almost all these are priced low compared to their ATH.

At the moment, all of the crypto currencies are undervalued. Look for example at Ethereum or Litecoin. One costs 200 USD another one 50 USD. These coins deserve much higher prices. Moreover take a look at NEO or IOTA. Those coins never had a bulll run and will be pumped really hard when the market recovers.

Undervalued coins can be those that have a working product and a low market cap. If the product is already working and resolves a lasting problem it should be only a matter of time before they grow in value.

Shouldn't you be looking instead for projects that have lots of money and are trading at a fraction of the value of the money they raised? If a project has run out of money after doing an ICO it is unlikely to be able to survive. Projects that still have a healthy bank balance and are trading at a fraction of the value of the money in their bank are the ones that will rise in value.

It is good to invest in undervalued crypto currencies as it helps you get profit while it experience a surge in price
To find undervalued tokens, you need to look over recently concluded icos that are already listed on exchanges

Learn more about the project and buy its dip
It’s surely gonna pave a bigger way

You will find plenty of the projects out there who are undervalued in terms of their prices as well as market cap too. Now you cant really have both at the same time because there is no point having coin who has got no market cap. Such projects cant drive much of the volume and thus buying and selling process can take forever. If you really want to jump in fresh project with at least greater chances of near future then do look for TowerBee. They have launched their own crypto currency exchange and thus listed their coin there only. They do have started with some of the buy and sell orders recently. With the time I am pretty sure this project will give you lot more.

Cant wait for CCPOS (cross chain proof of stake). Will then cold stake my XSN from my ledger and chose to receive BTC as staking reward via CCPOS. safest bet i can imagine with the underlying x100 growth potential of XSN

I usually look for undervalued tokens among ICO projects. At present, I have selected ATHERO tokens as one of the most promising for 2019. Athero is going to combine Internet of things, financial activities and blockchain on its platform. For the first month of the ICO, the project raised $ 14 million. And if the team continues to work at the same pace, then the project will be a huge success.

In general, you are right, but because of the ICO fraud wave, projects with very smooth financing tend to focus only on publicity. These projects are only concerned with the concept that is very dizzying.
The beauty of things is likely to require long-term education and thinking to be eligible to appreciate, so there are still many good projects that are often not favored by ordinary people. Technician-led projects, their advocacy strategies are often not very successful.
Therefore, it is easy to cause their value to be underestimated in a bear market.

Here, you may check some promising ICOs that have very good concepts such as Dominium. But, if you really want the project that need much money to grow up, see the Airpod and Drone.

There is a misunderstanding. In fact, I think that many of the current projects are economically and technically ridiculous, so their price should be 0. Any price higher than 0 is overestimated.

If I find some good projects that I really agree with, I can provide some help.
I have consulted a lot of projects, many of which are too obvious and inappropriate, so I posted and discussed with others.

I think the search for low-priced electronic currency is now being attracted by many investors. Investors are confident that the Crypto market will soon rise again. By then, these electronic coins will give them good returns. But in my opinion, the choice of low-priced electronic currency today must be closely linked to the study and analysis of the currency. If it really has potential, I'll buy them and wait.

I can advise everyone here the mark.space project. ICO was held in January during the HYIP, so the MRK tokens have been dumped very hard since then and trading now at very low prices. The project is very good, the work does not stop and there are updates all the time, the community is organic, no bots and airdrop participants, the team is always in touch. There is a ready product and it is already possible to buy 3d-spaces on the blockchain in the world of mark.space. Catch it, fools!

It seems you are indeed hunting to get new things, others are looking for coins that have the potential and have better value, but you want to find things that are a little unique and seem more risky. Many coins are undervalued, you can look for them on MCM, then there you will find lots of them and please select them.

I do not advise you to invest in such projects. If the project has no money, then investors are not interested in this project, respectively, the idea or product is not so good. At the moment, even projects with a working product do not bring profit, since the price of coins is almost at a standstill.

One such project that you might be interested in this project OriginTrail (TRAC)

Supply chains are often referred to as the main business industry, which will change the blockchain, and for good reason. Supply chain management is now an extremely inefficient process in which people try to reconcile different supplies from scattered organizations in one smooth process. Tracking all data flowing through the supply chain, while ensuring the proper quality of products and services, poses a daunting challenge.

Origin Trail is a blockchain project that aims to change the process of working with supply chains. Its decentralized platform is designed to make supply chain processes transparent, allowing organizations to share data on the platform. This data is securely encrypted by the blockchain, and the process of their exchange becomes synchronized, efficient and automated.

Origin Trail promises to significantly reduce the costs associated with supply chain management by optimizing efficiency. To ensure the reliability and quality of data of supply chain participants, Origin Trail has developed algorithms and methods for data quality control.

Users of the Origin Trail platform promises a convenient way to track the origin of the product. Customers can view the entire product movement chain and evaluate how the participating organizations work, what value and components are added to the product at each stage, and where the product comes from.

Expectations for 2018 for the Origin Trail project are very high because of its very ambitious road map. This year it is expected to launch a test network (June) and a decentralized network (Q3). Moreover, the team expects 30 new projects to be launched on its decentralized network in 2018. Supply chain management is about to change due to the power of blockchain technology, and Origin Trail is a powerful player on this field.

There are a lot of new coins and their prices are very low, which is good for us to buy and hold in time, so I think we will rethink the long-lived coin. So I think we will have to be very careful because the password is quite dangerous and risky.

There a lot of undervalued cryptocoins in the market and all you need to do is to research on the coin you select for your investment and not just rely for some people to feed information to your end. Go to Coinmarketcap for instance where there are a lot of altcons for your considerations and there is a history graph per coin as your guide to analyze the market performance within the past weeks. With this, I believe you may be able to get what you need since it's better that you should pick your choice and it's your decision. Believe in your instinct as you can get the perfect choice of coin that you need.

opportunity is important, but accuracy is much better, currently many tokens or projects like that where the market on bad condition, I am also   not sure which one will survive or better. I think the demand for a new project is low , where too many projects are offered.  I usually search on https://www.coingecko.com/ which coins should be buy, but even that not accurate may be other sites that are bebetter

You can search for an ico project that starts when the bear market takes place, do not choose an ico project that starts when the market price is good, because 3 months later a significant price decline can occur and they will fail. more than that, you can search undervalued crypto by doing a thorough analysis of the list of ico available on the market. do a comparison and specify it well.

SONM (current market cap $21m, current CMC ranking 211)

Sonm is a decentralised market place for computing power where people can trade their excess computing power to those who need it. Think the Airbnb/Uber of computing power! There are many use cases including Big Data analysis, machine learning, rendering, scientific calculations, etc.

Sonm is set to disrupt the cloud services industry currently dominated by Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, IBM, Google, etc. This is a rapidly growing industry (24% annual growth) and its market size is expected to be in the region of $500bn by 2022.

Sonm is aiming to disrupt this market by;

1) facilitating fog services that are 50-80% cheaper
2) offering a geo-distributed solution greatly reducing latency issues
3) being open source, decentralised and free from ownership
4) being very scalable

Sonm raised $42m during its ICO in 2017 and currently has 4 offices wordwide and employs over 70 people. The company has made great progress and its mainnet went live last summer. The platform has been already been used by a number of people/businesses in the last few months - actual computing power has been bought and sold - proving this is a viable product!

I personally believe this to be an excellent investment for the following reasons; it's dirt cheap (currently trading at 900 Sats), it's got a working product (a rarity!), the team is excellent, good funding and the potential market is huge....

As always DYOR, check out their website (loads of info) and have a look at their various social media channels. They are very active on Twitter, Reddit, Telegram, YouTube and they are very happy to answer any questions.

I can recommend electroneum and elastos. They both have a small market cap (less than 200 millions dollars), and they both have great teams and great projects. The developers have been delivering all the updates, following the road map and the white papers. They all have crystal clear teams. Electroneum aims to be a fast cryptocurrency and to bank the unbanekd in the third world countries. Elastos is building the blockchain based internet, where every creator owns what he creates. Kinda cool, you should check both websites. I think they will grow in value in the next 4 years

One of the undervalued cryptocurrency I know with good potential is the Travelflexcoin, the coin has some great team that never give up even when it seems people are loosing hope they never stopped working on the project, Recently they swapped to DAG and they just bought about 100 ATM/CDM machines which already getting their license from the UK.

GoChain has an active mainnet running at 1300 Transactions per second (13000 Q2 2019), with transactions confirmation times of approx. 4-6 seconds on the blockchain. It is 100% Ethereum compatible, however instead of using Proof of Work, it has Proof of Reputation (companies as nodes), which is 10x more decentralized than Ethereum and 1000x greener. There are 10 companies that are built or building on the network (Veritoken, Solaster, Enterprise, Job.com, PrimaBlock, MuiltiSender, Monarch, TrueDeck, MBYS, Esprezzo), and it has its own decentralized exchange GoDDEX for ICO’s. It is currently listed on Binance, Upbit, Bittrex, Kucoin, Bilaxy. The team is top notch – at the helm is CEO Jason Dekker who has extensive experience in hedge fund management (managed over $250m USD in assets), the CTO, Travis Reed is experienced in building apps and infrastructure (Achieved 1 million TPS with Iron.io). GoChain has a partnership with Microsoft Azure to drive enterprise adoption of blockchain-based customer support services. There are plenty more announcements due to be released very soon. With a market cap of $47m and upgradeable smart contracts due Q4 it is extremely undervalued.

Too many projects lack the necessary business savvy to succeed and promise ludicrous transactions per second on testnet that they will never achieve at mainnet. The team have delivered on all their targets (and more). As the CEO said himself you need: 1. Scaling (tech) 2. Adoption (biz dev) 3. Governance (regulatory framework), Tech alone won’t win.

Investing in an undervalued or lack of funds project is good but you must remember that the consequences and the risk involve in doing things. Mind you, you're a newbie account and hope you know already all what you ought to watch out before making an investment in an undervalued project.
Why don't you make use of the revenue sharing which nexybit since the crypto market is still down now.

Very nice choice because you are trying to find a undervalued coin and you need to find a lack of funds companie's coin. Yes there are too many coins in that situation. But we can not be sure because companies generally not saying their
real word fund issue. If a ico company keep holding their all of ethereums we can understand from here that company rekt.  But again i want to say that is really good way because you can earn more than 100x with this type of coins and companies.
When eth will start to recovery these companies financial situations get better and they will do better things and that will reflect the price.

That's hitting the nail right on the head! In the first place, one should be wary of any project that failed to hold its own, when it had a 100% chance of doing so. It's not the same thing to describe them as undervalued, because they are not even valuable yet and any more funds thrown in their direction, most likely would be good money after bad money. Profits only come about, when there is demand and supply and if there no people willing to buy from you, you're back to zero.

Better to stay on beaten tracks and especially as almost all the established coins can technically be said to be undervalued at the moment.

you will have to go to the list of ICO that had ended recently as bear market started. there are lots of them and most of their price dip to its lowest that devteam even thought they might not even make it. some of the lost hope already but if you can find projects that are still hopeful after all what happened, invest to it.

I support this proposed option. Now there are a lot of projects that have collected a fairly large amount of funds, however, due to the fall in the market, the price of coins has fallen dramatically. And you can use this moment

Exactly, we need to analyze and select carefully because there are so many cheap altcoin and it's not really good. Many altcoin are going down and there are signs of dying. If we make the mistake of buy them without analyzing them then it would be terrible

That is actually the thing, and not just going through the list of the ones that have just ended, but those with long term prospects and chances for growth in the long run as well as those with MVP as this is what would drive in real demand in the long run.

The truth is that so many of them are actually undervalued as they are trading below ICO price, at least for those that have listed to an exchange, so the best thing is to start looking for those ones as far as I am concerned, there are so many of them, so it is more like taking your own pick based on how you perceive their growth should be. Once the market recovers, i believe most of these ones should actually have some good growth at least towards their previous ICO price and that to me is a good bargain.

It's just that there's too much regulations that is needed to follow and lots of information to fill since most investors are prone to scamming of th era of ICO. That's why investors ask help to the government to make cryptocurrency as welcome to everyone without a future problem but it seems that it will need some more time to solve most of the issues.

SIACOIN is another good coin worth investing. It is a coin based upon the idea of decentralized storage. The team is also really good and you can expect good returns from this coin in the future.

It all depends on the attitude you specify, learn all the data and I am sure that you can choose the right project. The profitable project is very interesting yet it needs an aloted time to convey more interesting topic of the project. The team gather more reliable informations so that investors will surely attached and trust the project as well though more time is needed but that is very important too.

Spectrecoin is highly undervalued right now, it is at around 20 cents each and once it was at around 6 dollars. Now everything fell during this bear market so I am not surprised it dropped this much too but I highly think 60 cents per spectrecoin is much more possible and reasonable right now and 20 cent is just overreaction by the market and the correction can't come with this low volume, so when volume hits it will definitely see 60 cents which is x3 your investment.

Right now, they are working on new stuff like new wallet and even a mobile app which means there will be more attention to it and some twitter accounts that take a look at altcoins has started to mention their names so if the community gets behind it and there is a hype around the idea that "spectre is going up" than it will literally go up.

Most of them do that, it's free marketing on their part and if they fail, rinse and repeat the cycle.

What do you mean a new coin or a coin that is already on coinmarketcap ? for that already exist in the cmc, I recommend you choose altcoin with good rank even if the price fell down of the course to return to high prices will not need so long time to get back in when the market had improved and to ICO project still running I suggest you to choose Everlife (EVER)  based on stellar blockchain. The project is so different with other.

EverLife helps you create an immutable Avatar of yourself. Your Avatar can connect, collaborate and evolve with millions of other Avatars on the network while preserving your Legacy. Avatars do tasks based on the skills they acquire and earn in EVER tokens for the work they do.

I hope this can help you.

There are so many new juniors on the block on some of the exchanges, which gives you the chance to pick from a lot of them. However, considering that there are so many of them, you just have to do some due diligence. A lot of altcoins are already over sold, but I would not say some of them are undervalued, since they really do not have any value anyway since they have no product.

However, for some with products that just recently hit the market, and they are trading far below their ICO price, I will consider those ones as the basic undervalue ones to be picking on. I cannot actually tell you the ones you should be picking as they are many, so just do your own research.

You can visit their website to check why I pick them and why are they profitable to hold in long term. If you are planning to invest in cryptocurrency and willing to spend thousand of dollars, you better buy a hard wallet first before considering to buy and hold cryptocurrencies. I would never invest my whole money in the top 15 crypto currencies. Check the top 15 list every year and you will see that every year top 15 changes. Those that were in the top 15 will probably not be there anymore in the next bull.

I think that investing in little-known tokens is quite dangerous.
I highlight Specter and Dynamic Trading Rights (DTR) for myself

Tokens do not have large daily trading volumes, but have prospects

In order to find undervalued crypto tokens that can grow in a short time, in my opinion, you should study the Biggest Gainers and Losers at CoinMarketCap. In this section, you can find both successful tokens and badly devalued. If the coin has decreased by 50% - 60%, it is likely that then this token will increase greatly.

When the bear market has been going on for a long time, and many people experience burnout. Then why do you want to look for projects that value undervalued and lack funds?  ??? But you can already choose some coins that have been mentioned by friends above.

This approach will clearly help you get big X when these coins fall on normal exchangers!
