For instance, http://www.jbonneau.com/doc/BM14-SPW-fawkescoin.pdf describes an entire cryptocurrency that is based on this idea. I don't know how practical it would be to use such a scheme to make Bitcoin QC resistant, as opposed to things like Lamport signatures, though.
