What do you think when the current bitcoin price fluctuates very low, it is more stable than some stocks of major companies in the world. Do you think that this stability is because people are not interested in Bitcoin or any other reason?

there is nothing strange about it. it is only new to YOU.
otherwise you can see that this kind of stable phase has happened before. for example the most obvious one which was actually one of the longest periods of time when price was stable AFAIK, was back in 2015 when price was around $250. the situation was exactly the same as today and newcomers were surprised about that kind of stability!

I'm not quite sure u understand what you mean by 'fluctuate too low' bitcoins price has held off at a much larger value than any of its previous years. And it has also seen greater stability.
The market has been inactive for a couple of months, and while stability I'd welcome some are in need of some action.

Market forces decide the rise and fall of Cryptos. So if it's low means the demand right now is low. But with the Conventional currency about having a meltdown. Blockchain should be a safe haven for Investors. Be ready for the boom. Thanks

Larger fluctuations happen for a reason and most often times it happens because of a positive news in the market. If there are no positive news in the market then the obviously the fluctuations won't be as big as it happens on a surge. Last year we had a good surge in price with BTC and large fluctuations were common those days but since the price dump bitcoin has become almost idle near the $6500 range due to which the fluctuations aren't crating bigger spikes in bitcoin's price.

Usually for beginners who do not understand fluctuations will definitely wonder when prices will stabilize?
When compared to people who have long joined, or who have experience knowing bitcoin, of course they already understand the situation.

There has been periods of low volatility before, it’s nothing new. It can still continue for a while longer but we’ll probably see a significant pump or dump before the New Year. We won’t go sodeways forever, careful not to get burnt if your trading with leverage.

yes you are right ,the price of bitcoin is very low now a days but this is a part of crypto market . there are many reason behind this but all those reasons are temporary , very soon you will again see the price of bitcoin again on the higher side.Those who know the value of bitcoin they never afraid from these type of situations, they know the worth of bitcoin , so don't need to be afraid.

Yes you are right the market is constant now the price might be low but there's stability. BTC is more popular among all coins at this situation it need to show it's Power in value. Lets wait and see.

I think that such a price is primarily due to the fact that it is beneficial to someone. Plus, one should not forget that this is a market and everything here is subject to its own laws, the laws of the crypto market. Interest in Bitcoin (and crypto currencies in general) has not fallen, just people are more vigilant now.
I am sure that in the near future we will see a great interest in Bitcoin and the crypto market will swing again.

Prices don't fluctuate low, they go up and come down numerous times, but at the moment bitcoin price is stable/stagnant without much movements at all

Am not such an experienced trader so I really do not know what the signs portend to, but I'll simply hold my coins and see what happens

Volatility falls every day. The daily trading volume is the same. I think we're approaching that critical point. Anyone who wants to sell this price level has sold it. From here onwards, it can start small rise.

There's nothing weird about the current fluctuation, we've experienced this before, prices can't always go up or down, prices tend to have low levels of volatility when there's no buying pressure in the market, is completely normal at least for people who have been prior to the last bull run.

At least we're building a solid ground for the next btc rally, the current floor now seems to be 6400, a few months it was 6200, so it's a good thing that we're consolidating around the current prices because we can be certain that the price won't go below these levels whenever a btc rally sees a correction.

I think bitcoin prices currently fluctuating very low it's not a big deal.Because this the nature of bitcoin or any other crypto currency.We know bitcoin price like a rollar coster it's rise up and down anytime. In this crypto world we can't say what will happend.We just can predict on it. I think this is not a strange thing.It's happend every moments.Bitcoin price don't stay in fixed figure,it's always changing.I just say no more vigilant for bitcoin and don't be panic on it,thank you.

Firstly, the current fluctuations in bitcoin price is not something and it a normal thing in bitcoin market either. However, this is one of the reason why bitcoin gives a lot of investors huge profit in the past.
Nevertheless, the market been stable shows that the bitcoin market is resisting the dump in price despite the capital market was closed for the weekend.

It's not that. We had good news earlier this year and price was going down. I think that we have the length of this bear market to blame. If you check July 2016 we had almost the same situation. There was no volatility and no volume and the market slowly regained it 2 months later. News can help but the price will become volatile even without them. Bitcoin needs time to finish the correction and start another cycle.

I am sure that the price will reach 4,000 dollars by the end of the year, and then the Bitcoin exchange rate will start to rise. Over the next year, the price will increase by 100%

It's actually a normal thing for btc to fluctuate due to volatility of the btc currency. In my opinion,  btc is somewhat like on the stabilize trend as this has been within the $6k to $6.5k level for several months now and not a strange market condition. Try to review on the btc market history and you will realize that btc is in a stable market condition and a promising cryptocurrency for investment.

I guess it's possible that the majority of users here arrived here 2016 and after in which case they haven't had a dose of the extreme boredom Bitcoin can offer. Early 2015 was as dull as this and the price often wouldn't move more than a buck or two every hour.

Some might think that means the doom is over and it's on to indifference. I dunno. I'll be more confident in that once early next year is out of the way without too much incident. That still leaves a few months for things to plunge.

Nothing surprise nowdays bitcoin price is in the lower price since  first month of the year 2018, i think you need to reseach what the story of bitcoin this current year to stop worrying.

I agree one of the major factor of bitcoin stability is the support of people, this year is time of challenge who is have a lot of patience he got succes if the price jump again.

in investment fluctuations are very dependent on demand driven by positive issues in the public market, for example when fluctuations can be said to be low it might be due to the absence of something that drives a surge, usually the end of the year is the best, but for this year I am not sure will happen, the market is still cold, no big investors have entered, but with stable prices this may be the right time to use bitcoin not just an investment asset but rather a transaction tool

bitcoin price is up and down, it is very ordinary, why? because we can see the demand for bitcoin is not stable right now, many people is want to buy bitcoin when it start increase and sell when it start to decresase, so, if the bitcoin increasing, it will increase more and more, same with the value decreasing

This is the right time to enter the market as the price is stable and from this stage you can only expect the price to go up.

In my opinion bitcoin prices are moving like this because almost everyone is storing their bitcoin and do not want to sell them, inferring the transaction stopped at this level because not too many people put buy or sell orders.

there are many reasons why bitcoin today has low fluctuations, FUDs, panic, loss of trust, high sales, and negative conspiracies from some people who hate bitcoin.

I think you really have yet to see lows, below $3000 will be low.

didn't we have other stable periods like this after 2016 too? i think we did and i think people tend to forget. in any case it is not an excuse to say they arrived after 2016 because the charts aren't hidden away! they can easily look at the history and see how things have been so far. with a little zoom you can see price becomes stable every now and then, but only it is prolonged when it happens after a big bear market like what we had.

Well, the stability kinda bores people cause the possibility of earning easy money wouldn't be so available now. You can just invest and profit like the normal fiat coins through bank. So, the interest has stooped low.

Bitcoin prices are higher than ever and it is growing with each year and becoming more stable. As you're new you think of this as low because you do know have prior knowledge to the market and how it has come to this point. With each year most of the people who've been a part of the crypto market are already aware that this is rather normal and what would improve the situation of the market even further is the inevitable bull in the market. With time we all expect to see great results.

   Bitcoin price fluctuate every now and then as it is one should note that Market is Volatile, its price value movement is based on the Volume of the investment put in by the investors into the crypto market, The behavior on the market is always visible on either Stock market or crypto market, price value may goes down or goes up dependent on the consumer's behavior on investment into crypto or ALTCOIN in the market. it is normal to see this fluctuation on the market price value.

Bitcoin prices remain above $ 6,000 during this period. Bitcoin prices can not be said to be low. It is possible that what you say is true when it is too low compared to its highest price. What is lacking in Bitcoin is the source of outside investment to create the mutation.

I think this is happening not because people have started not to be interested in bitcoin. It seems that this happened due to the number of people who stopped temporarily from entering the market because the prices seen continued to decline since 2018 and this made investors and traders prefer to monitor market movements and choose to keep holding their coins.

I still feel there is still alot is going on behind the scene that most people are not observing, when we see the volume drying out on the crypto exchanges that mean this volume is going somewhere, the OTC. With recent reports stating that the number of OTC volume has increased greatly this year and most institutional investors have learnt their lessons from last year bull run. I for one believe we are entering a new phase in Cryptocurrencies in general 

when the price of bitcoin is still very cheap as you should now be able to use to buy, you don't buy coins when the price goes up because it will definitely be stuck at an expensive price, the key is you have to be able to buy at a cheap price and wait until the price rises.

People tend to always look for strange things as a result of their negativity. It is a norm, and for the most part of it, we are pretty sure that when price is too low most of the time, and then there is a consolidation, there is boredom that get to a lot of people and then they start imagining and thinking things that ain't even there.

The market has been in an uptrend, we just experienced some correction, and there is actually hope for the future and more volatility to come. Patience is just something a lot of people cannot get to come to terms with.

In the volatile crypto market, this is nothing new. Bitcoin has gone through such kinds of stability before. And this stability does not mean that people is less interested in the BItcoin.

The price is low compared to last years skyrocketing period. But the price is stable around $6500 for quite some times and it may be a good sign. It doesn't mean people are not interested in bitcoin just because the market is stable.

I don't see it as a 'strange' one. Stability is somehow happened, not because of the interest has down, it just happen. Not only up-down, stable is also part of bitcoin ways of 'balancing' and improving itself. Perhaps, it just new to you, more than else, don't worry about it. I think it says about the stabilization of the bitcoin rate. You may not see such a sharp jump as before.

Most market participants expect the beginning of a bullish trend, so Bitcoin sales are mainly made by miners who have to pay electricity bills. By the tenth anniversary of Bitcoin will grow in price, so now it is not profitable to sell it.

Well, that is basically the thing a lot of people are not getting, and probably I guess a lot of people should just go to the chart, and set the time frame to a month and actually see that we have always been in an uptrend for a very long time, one thing most people in this space cannot get to wrap their heads around.

The fluctuation we are seeing now is something that is normal when waiting for a breakout, which usually brings about some low volume in the space; I guess people should wait for the break out and see what happens afterwards. I do not even know why people will be seeing low fluctuation as something abnormal in the first place, when this is a market.

This is not strange about bitcoin prices that currently fluctuating less. Price are very volatile from the start that we are seeing the price from high and low. We could expects market in this current situation and we could expects to see soon into higher price.

When you had just sit down into this Cryptocurrency market then this thing would really be new or strange thing to you but it isnt really new at all. Bitcoin can be either volatile or somehow on consolidation state. Reason? No one really knows on why the market is behaving on this way but one things for sure that this isnt really like the same with those traditional markets like stocks or forex.

Bitcoin price movements to date seem to be more stable, if indeed we always compare price movements with last year, bitcoin has experienced a very drastic price drop from 2017 but this certainly has its own reasons, bitcoin has experienced a strong market price correction to date

People are still interested in Bitcoin but it could be that newbies are selling their holdings as they are afraid that prices may go down even lower than what we have now. As far as I know Bitcoins prices are not that stable like that of fiat as we can still see volatility each day. For me I think price of Bitcoin will not go down too low as $1,000 because I believe something good will happen at the end of 2018.

That is usually always the thing most of the time, and most especially for people that got caught up in some of the not so brilliant decisions they ended up making. Also, I tend to realize that people complain about everything, when price fluctuates a lot, they see it as a problem, when it gets to experience some level of less volatility for a short period of time, they call it strange, but they should not forget the fact that this is just a market, and everything that happens basically in a market is always normal, and moreover, bitcoin is growing both in value and maturity daily, so people should get used to the fact that a lot of things will change.

Well, there is no doubt that the stability can actually be a bit boring, most especially for traders, and the thing is that a lot of traders actually tend to take advantage of the huge fluctuations, so when we have less of that, there is always a possibility to see people getting bored.

Bitcoin had periods of low volatility before so it's not something that is seen for the first time.
For a longer period of time many Bitcoin users and investors are on hold, let's say so, and market stays rather still that is why price fluctuation isn't so big.
Maybe the end of this year and the begininig of the next could bring us some movement and excitement on the market.

Some people are much confused that they start trusting these fuds. Don’t worry about such stories. Believe me everything on internet isn’t valid and likewise every news isn’t an authentic one. Sometimes it is just a prediction from an individual or group of individuals. Be brave and patient as well. Time is near when bitcoin would jump from nothing to a heavy level.

It is even something that is always expected when you get to see indecision in the market and in this case, you tend to see market consolidate for a while. First and foremost, from what the OP said, this is not a strange behavior at all, as it has happened a lot in the past and we have had one that even lasted than anyone could have imagined.

Probably, he is only looking at it strange based on when he got into the space, and the first time experiencing this, but it is nothing strange at all. The market is still very much volatile, but at stages like this, it is trying to either switch to an uptrend, or taking sometime to continue with the downtrend.

Tha’s true,  let us be patient with these fluctuation that are happening in the market. Usually this is not strange, price of bitcoin varies from high and low. So bitcoin price has a big hopes that it can regain to high.

This is a period of stability, yes, but hardly uncommon even in other markets, except that with Bitcoin it really doesn't tend to last very long, with people accumulating orders and consolidating either for drops or spikes, both audden and pronounced.

Definitely when the speculators start dropping off. They may hover around alt markets but to be sure, it's when they reenter again that we'll see more activity.

I think stable conditions like this are a positive value. Because when conditions stabilize, it will make more investors interested in Bitcoin. Because in the past most investors and also the government considered the unstable conditions owned by Bitcoin to be a threat. There are positive values that we should be grateful for. Hopefully the Bitcoin can still exist and then gradually be accepted and made a fair regulation by the government.

The good thing about Bitcoin's movement now is that even though it is volatile it's volatility has limits. And what I mean about that is it doesn't go lower beyond the 6,000$ level which simply means that sellers are rejecting to go beyond that level. It seems to me that this movement tells us that majority of the hodlers are putting a barrier in this market where they only accept the fluctuation up to a certain limit. And to answer your question, if people are not interested in Bitcoin it won't even have a fluctuation at this point as its value will be down to zero as there will be no demand in the market.

I personally do not feel anything strange, I just feel this is a form of the stability of the price of bitcoin that is able to be suppressed, because we know if the bitcoin market has high fluctuations and at that time we expect stability to occur. Currently the price of bitcoin is only moving around $6k and in my opinion this is the latest achievement about the price of bitcoin which is able to be pressed for a long time.

Yes, you are right, actually these fluctuations have occurred from previous years, this is exactly like today, I think those who do not know fluctuations are people who have just joined and not done research.

Maybe you should be comparing with so many years before and know that bitcoin is still in an uptrend and all you are just seeing here is a short term correction. There is actually no doubt that we will still get to see more fluctuations in the long run, so for those who are basically waiting for anything strange, then they should really be looking at the level at which this market is going to grow in the long run.

From the most things that have happened, bitcoin has been having consistent increase and now that we are a decade at least, knowing the level at which bitcoin has risen over the years, is something that is pretty interesting and enough to make anyone to keep focusing on the future.

This move should be welcomed as this seems to be so healthy. Stable price is indeed needed at this critical situation.

I think it's not strange because it's normal because its happen before maybe to some new comer in crypto its strange that the price in the market is fluctuating but it's normal because it will not always on top and we know that its decentralize.

thats right and i agree that it is actually normal to see fluctuaions like this  , i believe that whales did this manipulation . they decided to dump the price slowly so that many people will continue to panic and if that happens , the price will even drop sharply but whales isnt the one that will get benefit the most  because other investors will also take this oppurtunity to buy and hoard more coins . dont worry , the price will soon recover and i think it can happen on the mid of november or decemer  this current year  .

Not surprisingly this incident shows the public the value of BTC does't always rise/fall fluctuations quickly,there must be a period like this so there are words of long terms for investment in BTC and I think this is the usual thing in crypto.Indicates who has a strong hodl of the bite for a long period of time.

I think this is because the regular people get out from trading and many people are either in fiat or in bitcoin but not trading anymore trying to make more money. A year ago everyone was a master about which coin was to get and even at the most unusual places you have seen talks about buying some obscure coin and that was the way to riches, nowadays no one really does that at all.

It means the whales who try to control the market can't anymore because in order to control the market it has to worth what you are doing and when they spent millions of dollars into bitcoin than there was other people who spent tens of millions of dollars and their speculation was not seen and balanced.

Nowadays, if they try to do that than they would have to really move the market themselves and when they want to get out they can't because there are not enough money to go around.

There is nothing strange because bitcoin prices fluctuate and it can make a sharp decline, don't worry bitcoin is still the best in crypto and bitcoin will have the opportunity to increase, be patient and calm yourself.

If newbies are selling their holdings because they are afraid and then doing it at loss, then they should have themselves to blame in the long run and not the market, because the idea with whales is to shake them out of the market, and I am sure with people doing this, they are actually just giving the whales a filled day eventually.

This is a market that is still growing, we are still in an early phase and there is absolutely no way this market has stopped growing, and if some people are to short minded and cannot focus on the long term, then, that is their cup 'o'  tea.

Stability is the most common state for any market, this may seem difficult to believe especially for those that became investors or traders at the end of the previous year but that is just the way this, a stock cannot go up forever and it cannot go down forever either, at some point an equilibrium is reached between those that want to buy the stock and those that want to sell it and that is what you're seeing.

I do not feel there is an oddity with the stability of bitcoin prices because the market will not continue to deteriorate and also increase, so with this stability I think it makes me personally feel safe because there was a lot of speculation that said if the price of bitcoin will fall below $5k. But what happens is that the price of bitcoin is able to survive and I'm sure there will be a change in good improvement in the near future.

Only the tech companies are moving around a vast amount (they tend to be overpriced and speculative on future growth far more), most companies are still quite stable day to day where as BTC changing from 6000 to 6500 in quite short amount of time still represents a 8% change.
I think BTC trading on Chicago futures has changed its nature some perhaps.   Also quite alot of anticipation in various ETF applications and even moves in alternate crypto protocols which are sold in BTC often could be a large part of support to pricing
