Title: Which cryptocurrency is best for storing money?
Post by: Qurelal on October 28, 2018, 09:42:38 PM
I have a cryptocurrency. I kept my money in different currencies. I use coins for payment and I'm not a trader. The situation on the cryptomarket has long been incomprehensible. I'm afraid I'm doing something wrong and I want to ask for advice.
Tell me, please, which cryptocurrency is the best for storing money? What is the best coin to choose? What do you think about this?

if you're looking to store money, you want stability.

if you consider stablecoins to be cryptocurrencies---and this subject is debated---they would be the most stable. they're pegged to the USD, so their market value usually stays very close to $1. some examples are USDC, USDT, GUSD.

but stablecoins are inherently dangerous because they have centralized counterparty risk. if the U.S. government decided to shut down gemini, the value of GUSD (the gemini dollar) would plummet. same thing for USDT if tether got shut down by regulators.

that's why i'd recommend bitcoin. bitcoin is the most stable decentralized cryptocurrency. it holds value much more reliably than altcoins and tokens, and because it's decentralized, your coins are safe from the risks of third party trust (as long as you hold your BTC in your own wallet).

I trusted Bitcoin. I feel I lose a lot of money when storing Bitcoin. I don't know and do not want to follow the river course jumps. I want to learn something new. I believe It's possible.

Depends on what you prefer because everything has pros and cons you can't have the best of everything it's not possible there will always be trade offs.
For me the best is Bitcoin due to the price changes over the past couple of years it keeps on increasing year after year this might be the last year we'll see Bitcoin at $6,000.

If you want to use a different coin and stability is your top priority you could follow figment's advice but it's risky because these coins are tied to the exchanges. It's like buying a gift card and hoarding it for a long time in the future once the store shuts down it becomes worthless.

The top altcoins right now imo can't even be considered as the best for storing money because of how volatile they are if compared to Bitcoin

Probably decentralized stablecoins like DAI. But you probably won't be able to pay with that though, so I would suggest bitcoin. Why? It's simply the most adopted payment cryptocurrency right now, and in price drops, bitcoin is the least affected. If altcoins drop by 10%, chances are that bitcoin only drops by around 5%. What about other altcoins you say? Definitely not. Unless you want your funds to be fluctuating in bigger waves.

Bitcoin is not and never should be treated as a store of value. If you wish to store funds you can always go with your nations traditional fist currency.
Bitcoin is an investment option and is prone to volatility and fluctuations.
It is also a payment option, although not widely used as yet.
Stable currencies claim to provide stability to cryptocurrency enthusiast while offering the stability of fiat, but by collaterization it has alreadg lost the quality of decentralization and public audits are not readily made available.

And remember, it's not a loss until you sell!

you haven't stopped making mistakes either, now you are making a new mistake! you have lost money because you made bad decisions and now you are asking people to give you a magical answer about some cryptocurrency which you can buy and no longer lose money... that will lead to another loss.

Honestly, if you have to ask that question stay away from this market to store your money as far as you can ;). Try to look at traditional markets like gold if you really want a place where you can store your money for 15+ years.

Hey by it's very nature crypto currency is not stable at all, these are high risk high return coins which means the higher risk you can take, higher are the chances of your return. I would suggest only bitcoins to get more returns, but bitcoins are not safe at all, their price can swing either way you need to do your research before you choose to buy them, even the fiat currencies are not stable hence I would suggest you invest in bitcoins only.

This is quite a difficult question to answer. Anything pegged to a fiat currency has devaluation built into it as a result of inflation, and has no underlying asset value. I believe that a payment system with an intrinsic value is the best option to safeguard your savings. Gold and Silver are the traditional options.  We have now entered a new "digital" world, and this has introduced some new virtual assets - domain names are one example. I believe that Bitcoin is another example. I've had a lot of arguments with people about this, as very few seem to be able to get their heads round the fact that solving cryptographic problems can create an asset.

I know everyone going to invest for profit. The cryptocurrency invests has risks always. If you need to invest, this is the time for you. Because the whole market has fallen and most top cryptocurrencies in the bottom at that moment. The https://coinmarketcap.com is really helping to choose a coin to invest. All top coins are in the bottom right now. My personal opinion is don't put your all money to one coin, you can invest your money with several coins. Before you invest, do your own research that coin about future updates etc. I think you're going to invest long-term that's why.

Probably decentralized stablecoins like DAI.

really? the premise seems pretty insane to me. you can back a "stablecoin" with tokenized crypto, but the "debt discount" incentive sounds extremely precarious because (among other reasons) there is very little profit incentive for participants to bootstrap meaningful market liquidity. at some point, a lot of people may end up stuck with tokens they can't "cash out" without losses. the DAI peg is essentially based on faith that other people will continue to have faith in the peg. i don't expect that to last.

it does create incentive to pump the price of ETH because creating DAI removes ETH market liquidity. but based on the above, i expect the effect to be negligible.

If preserving your present value and remaining in crypto is paramount then I'd turn everything to Bitcoin, deposit it on an exchange with insurance and a banking charter which pretty much leaves you Gemini, Itbit and possibly Coinbase and sell them for real dollars, not any stablecoin, and keep the dollars parked.

If you need to get back into crypto then you can do it in a few seconds. And make sure your account is super secured with 2FA etc.

Since real dollars are available I see no need for a stablecoin. If I was to go for one I'd only consider the new crop of legit ones, but even then I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

for me, it depends on whether i'm looking to hold fiat long term or short term. if i expect to wait months before buying back in (as was the case in early 2018), i wouldn't bother holding USD on an exchange. that money sits in my bank account. much safer than any exchange account. you never know how long it might take to recover your money worst case scenario, even if it's insured.

Since real dollars are available I see no need for a stablecoin. If I was to go for one I'd only consider the new crop of legit ones, but even then I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

stablecoins have value to me if you can trade them without KYC. that's the biggest problem when interfacing with fiat.

Are you talking about instant exchange in cryptocurrencies? Have you tried to use these services? What time did you spend on transferring dollars to cryptocurrency?

well you can not use any cryptocurrency to make payments because people don't accept them. for instance if you want to purchase a VPN, the provider is not accepting all cryptocurrencies. they will be accepting bitcoin and monero and in some cases they may accept litecoin too. so in a way it is not up to you to choose which coin!
additionally how the whole market works is that if bitcoin falls, everything else falls too. so your options are limited in this case again.
the only alternative is stable coins such as Tether but the problem with these coins is that they are also high risk because despite their stability they can disappear at any moment and crash to zero.
on top of all that you will have the problem of exchanging coins back and forth. for instance if you want to make payment with bitcoin but exchange it to Tether so that you don't lose money if bitcoin went down, then you will be forced to pay 2 exchange fees and that will eat through the amount you were trying not to lose and your loss will be even bigger.

Everyone pretty much covered everything, but honestly, if you're just holding and the only thing you want is not to lose money, you may as well hold your fiat instead. You don't lose, but you don't gain either. This is also infinitely better than holding stablecoins that are just a disaster waiting to happen. Traders only really "hold" stablecoins because they're easier to trade than fiat -- it's not fit for long-term storage.

I would have to agree that Bitcoin is the best. It's by far the safest cryptocurrency and the market generally follows its movements. This doesn't mean you can't lose money, of course, but that means every other alternative is likely to lose more. Holding it can lose you money, but it can earn you money as well. It's guaranteed to grow as the crypto market grows. It's also the most liquid crypto, being accepted everywhere crypto is accepted.

You'll have to weigh the options on your own and find out where your priorities lie. For what it's worth, majority of holders choose to hold Bitcoin as their primary coin.

As other users say you can hold on USDC, USDT, GUSD. But anyway you can't trust 100% and be on safe side. There was some accusation against USDT not be legit and coins are generated without real holding. (1USDT-1USD). You can also hold on bitcoin, but the price may drop and if you need urgent money to cash out and you will lose money.

You only "lose" money, if you panic and sell early. <obviously something that you did, right?>  My best advise for you would be to look at Bitcoin investment as a long-term investment and to buy bitcoins and to forget about them for a few years.

If you buy bitcoins and you check the price every 10 minutes, then you will start to panic due to the short-term volatility and you will sell way too early. <even at a loss>

Buy and forget about it.  ;)

Are you talking about diversifying? Like, spreading your money across different assets so you can be protected when one tanks? That concept doesn't exist in the crypto market. The market follows Bitcoin's movement, so there's no point holding different coins for the sake of diversification. It would probably be safest to hold just Bitcoin, even.

It's always possible for Bitcoin to disappear, but it's very unlikely at this point. Alts have a much, much higher risk of disappearing.

Yes, but the thing is, every other coin would go extinct before Bitcoin would. I mean, do you honestly see a scenario where Bitcoin dies but Ethereum lives on? The market follows its movements, so its death would also mean the market's death. Holding Bitcoin alone is just about the safest position you could be in in the cryptocurrency market.

Why not indeed, but we haven't really reached a point where any alt can take over yet. Would you really be comfortable storing money into an obscure coin that you believe can outlive Bitcoin? Until you can comfortably do that, your money is safest in Bitcoin, and Bitcoin alone, as far as the crypto market is concerned.

Why are you silent about ETH? It's also a popular currency now.

Its primary 'use case', ICOs, has proven to be a crock of empty shit, at least the current crop. It hasn't solved scaling yet. It's not too far off impossible to run a full node. It lost a considerably higher percentage of its value than Bitcoin.

Anyone using it as a 'store of value' has not thought things through.

Hold on to a diversified strategy, like with any other investments. Hold some big and stable coins, try some young, small and perspective and you will have a better chance of not losing anything at once! No one can give you a definite answer about the most perspective coin. I guess, you have to be able to analyze and have some trust in your own guts

Well, for storing money, do not choose Bitcoin. It seems to me that Bitcoin is not good for storing money because it is not stable, you may suffer a loss if you make a wrong decision. Therefore, you should think about litecoin, it is more stable and safe to store money.

If you want to store money your best option would be fiat currencies. Although their values are not fixed, but the fluctuations are limited and not as wide as cryptocurrencies.

Stable currencies claim to bring the stability of fiat into cryptocurrency, but with limited public audits and a centralized control panel, I rather see it as taking cryptocurrency into the fiat world.

Bitcoin has reduced in volatility, but it's still not suitable as a store of value.
I would say it's your best option is you want to go with cryptocurrency

well, you should never choose bitcoin if you want to store money because bitcoin is not stable, you can lost everything in just a second. You should choose another coin for storing money like ripple or litecoin.

I think all currencies aren't stable. What reason do you have to trust Ripple or Litecoin?

Why are you silent about ETH? It's also a popular currency now.

Its primary 'use case', ICOs, has proven to be a crock of empty shit, at least the current crop. It hasn't solved scaling yet. It's not too far off impossible to run a full node. It lost a considerably higher percentage of its value than Bitcoin.

Anyone using it as a 'store of value' has not thought things through.

Eth is used for payment and storage. What do you say about this?

Tell me, please, which cryptocurrency is the best for storing money? What is the best coin to choose? What do you think about this?

If you mean just storing the fiat value to buy smth later when you feel more comfortable then of course it might be a good idea to keep in stablecoins like USDC or USDT, otherwise I would think Bincoin is the best bet, since other coins like Ethereum or Bitcoin Cash are to risky. Who can say there won't be Ethereum 2.0 next year that will make 1.0 nearly worthless, not even talking about Bitcoin Cash and other fancy stuff which you need to track constantly to keep up with developments.

What about running a node on the Horizen network. While the market is currently lazy, if you store your coins with a node at least you make a profit and are rewarded a percentage. So while you keep storing your coins, they make you more coins. You can of course at any time move your coins to an exchange to sell.

The subject of this thread is storing money, which I presume means value. ETH, along with almost everything else, has proven to be a truly shit way to store money. That is something that you need to think about. Always remember that crypto is a form of an investment and the market can go up down multiple times. There's a lot of risk for you to consider and make sure that you know what you were doing. Do your own research because crypto is on a different level compared to currency trading.  I would suggest that you start investing on bitcoin since you are not familiar on crypto yet.

we should reject pair to btc and link it to stable coins, only in this case we (and so much good projects) can go higher to the stars.

Bitcoin is by far the best because it doesn't rely on any other cryptocurrency, only on itself. All other coins depend on their own state and the state of Bitcoin. Many people tend to ignore it and think that if Bitcoin dies its value will move to altcoins. This is incorrect. The money will exit the crypto ecosystem because people will lose confidence when the most popular cryptocurrency doesn't succeed.

Honestly, if you have to ask that question stay away from this market to store your money as far as you can ;). Try to look at traditional markets like gold if you really want a place where you can store your money for 15+ years.
That's for sure. The cryptocurrency market will always be unstable. Keeping your money in them is quite risky. Here you can win, and you can lose. If you are going to be stored temporarily for investing in a cryptocurrency, only then you can choose stable coins. If we are talking about the usual long-term storage, it is better to choose the traditional methods of their storage - banks, gold.

Cryptocurrency has advantages and disadvantages that you must know before you decide to save money here. Crypto has a risk and the price of this coin is unstable so you also have to be prepared provided that the price of the coin rises or the price decreases. But I think the place to keep a good coin is crypto because its value can give us an advantage.

I really think if you want to choose a store for your money, then go after the Gold backing idea. This is the best way to store your money long term. It is doable through "Tokenized Precious Metals" approach.

Gigzi is the best project for this goal. It is in the ICO stage right now ..and will allow to back crypto assets with Gold and precious metals' price. https://gigzi.com

The answer is stablecoins. In the bad situation of this cryptocurrency market, stablecoins like USDT will save your money avoid losing. And you should choose USDT because of the stable and the guarantee of this crypto. You can exchange from your crypto to USDT to hold and wait for the bull run to reinvest.

Everyone can be a holder, you don't have to trade but at least you need to keep adding when you have spare money to use. And for the best cryptocurrency to store is bitcoin, you need to have at least a bit of it when the bull runs so you can make profit with it.
It's the king of crypto's and its a good idea to have it rather than your portfolio is full of altcoins.

if you're looking to store money, you want stability.

if you consider stablecoins to be cryptocurrencies---and this subject is debated---they would be the most stable. they're pegged to the USD, so their market value usually stays very close to $1. some examples are USDC, USDT, GUSD.

but stablecoins are inherently dangerous because they have centralized counterparty risk. if the U.S. government decided to shut down gemini, the value of GUSD (the gemini dollar) would plummet. same thing for USDT if tether got shut down by regulators.

that's why i'd recommend bitcoin. bitcoin is the most stable decentralized cryptocurrency. it holds value much more reliably than altcoins and tokens, and because it's decentralized, your coins are safe from the risks of third party trust (as long as you hold your BTC in your own wallet).
Well, I do not think that stablecoin dangerous now there is for example the usdc, he passed the test of many companies and I think to keep the money in this coin, you can safely and not worry

After all the FUD about USDT that comes up on a regular basis, I would stay away from stablecoins.

In my opinion Bitcoin is the best way to store money. However, I think it depends on how long you want to store your money.

if you only want to save money, I think crypto is the wrong choice because the price is very fluctuating, so the risk of falling is very high, and vice versa, the potential to rise from the price when you buy is also high, therefore many people choose crypto as an investment tool rather than a tool to save money.
I want to ask you if you only want to save then when the price continues to decline do you just let it go? therefore if you only want to save money I suggest that you switch to gold because the price is more stable and even tends to up

to save money you need to invest.
Saving money does  not translate into investing money. The OP was only talking about saving his money, except he means something else. So, to save money in cryptocurrency, the best way is to buy stable coins directly and hold. If you then are looking at making some profit, then you should invest in coins with prospects. Ethereum at the moment is good for investment, if you will consider it.

Bitcoin and Ethereum are more reliable and have less risk of losing your money.
However, on other, less popular coins, you can earn much more money with greater risks.

To invest in cryptocurrency, first of all you need to understand that this may be associated with a certain risk of losing some of the investment.
And of course, it will take a long time to store money in a cryptocurrency, at least under the given conditions on the cryptocurrency market.
Acquire promising coins that give a good result in growth over the course of their existence and wait until the prices culminate in the cryptocurrency market.

USDT has some gloomy points which don't allow holding money for long - it may come to the attention of sec at any moment. The most reliable method ever is to convert money into Fiat.

None. Don't use it as a long term asset storage, if you are not willing to take the risks. The prices of crypto currencies are extremely volatile and fluctuates a lot. If you are not willing to take any risk, then don't use it to store your money. Rather stick to those traditional ways, gold and silver.
And don't treat crypto currencies as store of value. Treat it as a currency that can be used for daily transactions.

I didnt know that holding usdt could carry such risk. Maybe it is right the best way is to convert it to cash but there is also another stablecoin maybe we can try that too even better if there is offshore alternstive other than usdt

Nowadays, Stable Coin, which is famous not only for its stability, has become very popular among users of cryptocurrencies. As an example, you can give a direct competitor USDT - DAI.

Bitcoin is the best. I would also think about anonymous coins like Monero if you don't want the government to watch your every move. Altcoins don't hold value as good as Bitcoin but they offer some advantages. Some of them are accepted on small exchanges that don't follow strict KYC rules and allow you to trade anonymously.

I would personally choose Bitcoin of course as a safest and best cryptocurrency for storing fiat money and when in terms of Altcoins I will go for Ethereum. If you are in doubt mate please don't. You need to know more about what you are going to do and being aware of what would be the possible outcome and consequences if your investment is compromised or you've made wrong decissions. I myself don't like centralized assets that is why I don't have bank accounts and I choose cryptocurrency over fiat money.

I do not agree if using crypto is just to save money. It will be at risk of losing big.
But if wants it and certain decisions then the crypto value is stable and is also quite strong in the market. bitcoin can be used for the solution, in this case, because it is stable in terms of the prices could even potentially on the rise.

The volatility will become the main problem, remember when you are seeing  the price of bitcoin being pumped and dumped. If some people have called bitcoin as best coin to store our value and they might not even watch the volatility in the crypto.

If you're planning to store your money in cryptocurrency and have some profit in ths future, you can choose one of the top 5 coins in the market. To be safer, you can choose bitcoin. Now, I think is a good time to do that because the price of bitcoin is low. It might increase after the Bitcoin ETF approval, if approved.

In the way you described your needs and wishes I would recommend you to get into the gold. Gold is pretty stable, with slow but steady grow, in next 10-20 years nothing will change, demand for gold will stay where it is, maybe will rise a little, enough for steady grow.
Cryptocurrencies are to volatile for you, and believe that nobody here cant suggest good coin for you and your needs. Better look for something else if you are not ready to risk a bit.

Maybe can consider this, a new tech for record the history on blockchain. See how they do:

"Historia disrupts, as cliche as it sounds, the history market. And if you think there is no history market than the way the history is recorded and kept. Opening the possibility to everyone become the historian, the keeper of records of our history.

Historia is a blockchain-based database focused on preserving the original account of history. Our aim is to incentivize the contribution of accurate historical events that will be reviewed by a diverse, globally distributed pool of voters. Historia decentralizes the recording of history from the few to the many, providing a change log to history and a platform to combat censorship and bias."

It is not ICO, it is already on exchanges, so nothing fraud, just want to make sure more guys know it! They are listed on STEX exchange

If you wan't to hodl crypto and do not experience the fluctuations we see now on the market then you need to buy and hodl stablecoins. But as for me there is no sense in it, because you can just buy dollars and keep them)) The main idea to hodl crypto is that it can grow for thousands of percent in a very short time. But there are the risks that it can drop the same amount)) So you have to either take the risks or leave the crypto market.

I choose USDT, USD, PAXOS for storing money because it's not too volatile depends on the other coins. But if you are no problem with the volatile, then I advise you to save in bitcoin only because this is the best-storing money so far and besides that, bitcoin is the leader of the cryptocurrency. So no matter if the price is down, it will bounce up again in the future so you will earn more profit from bitcoin.

Stable coins would be the best coins for someone who's looking for his/her coin to store for a long time.

It saves the current value of the coin/token that you hold. For example, you have worth $1,000 of Bitcoin and we may not know if it will increase or go down in the future but you want to secure that $1,000. You can move your wealth with Tether, USDC and other stable coins.

The only cryptocurrency I trust very much is Bitcoin, don’t trust the others that much. There are still stable coins and you can make use of those in storing your coins so that you don’t lose, but I wouldn’t use them. Instead of that I’d make use of wallets that allows users to exchange cryptocurrency for the real currencies and also store them in the same wallet so they can exchange it for crypto of their choice later or better still  leave it in Bitcoin.

Moreover, cryptocurrencies are not the recommended way of storing your money. It may value up or down based on many reasons. But in long term basis, value will increase for sure. If you are not ready to understand these then please avoid using cryptos for strong money.

We can't predict which coin is the best because crypto is anonynim, but my suggest is 50 : 50.
50% in cryptocurrensy like bitcoin, ethereum, ripple, xlm and etc, split your 50% funds in many kind of coins
And another 50% choose fix price cryptocurrensy like TrueUSD(TUSD), Tether(USDT), your fund safe because this coins based on usd. And also this is more safe than bank because no fee

As mostly people's choice but to think also that there is no stable price in crypto and it change anytime.  Though storing your money in this two coins is good but never assured that it will be safe forever. The risk for now is getting stronger and you might just prepared for what are the possible things to happen in the near future.

No crypto can guarantee safe to save money. the ablest to happen is it has a big risk when entering money inside. at least if you want to choose crypto then look at the top of the ancients where much crypto is good enough and stable enough. among the many existing ripple can be used as a recommendation as a place to save money.

Even those prices are also kept falling in the market which makes us lose value because most of the people will not patiently wait for their money recovery. But both the Bitcoin and Ethereum are the best coins for holding them for the long term in order to get more profit.

Holding your coin is quite different from you saving it, and there are some risks attached to it, which you should understand before you invest into it. So save yourself from loosing, you should either save in stable coins like GUSD, TUSD and others or you buy coins that are well established. Such as coins like BTC and ETH, but it will be good you buy them when their prices are low, such as what we have now.

Choosing the hottest altcoins would be nice for you to put up some of your money. Hot coins can pump more but to die less. They are known also as potential coins that can be on the top 10 in a short period of time once reach the some of the major requirements of having more investors and active trading activities. I cannot recommend any strong altcoins for because I assume you knew it already. Good luck

Nothing good except us. because a lot of coins actually fluctuate so much. and we really have to be careful when choosing coins that are really good. we know that now only bitcoin is also up and down so sharply
Not even bitcoin. But if he can afford to lose and then it would not be a big problem. Store our money in the major coin should always become the main choice. So far if you are seeing most of people are keeping their coins on the major coin form rather than stable coin to take the advantage from volatility.

Investments in cryptocurrency are long-term investments. So if you store your money in the top coins, they will grow again after a certain amount of time. Do not panic and especially do not retire if you are at a loss, because you can not do anything else. We can not recommend a constantly growing currency, because there is nothing. You need to take advantage of situations when the price of a coin grows and you will not panic when the price decreases. Try to trade daily if long-term investment scares you.

It seems to me that Ethereum is not bad for storing money, especially now, when the cryptocurrency market is starting to grow and you can buy this coin at a still quite low price.
Subsequently, after the market recovers, it is possible to sell it at a much higher price and get the desired result.

Cryptocurrency is an opportunity to earn by trading or long-term investment, due to the high volatility of the crypto market. High volatility eliminates the notion of stability. There are relatively stable coins - the stable coins of the USDT and some others, the cost of which should be provided with a 1: 1 dollar equivalent.

in your case you can switch to stable coin such as tether ,true usd, etc. which is best for you as you are not a trader, you can also invest in potential ico or you can invest all fund into btc. yes it is manipulated but still btc is btc and it will be again manipulated to a new height.as there is no high risk associated with btc,you may think you are loosing fund in terms of dollar value but you will regain it in future.

I always ask myself this question too and wish there was a definitive answer. I've been looking more into Ampleforth, formally Fragments, and believe it will be a great way to store wealth. Here's a bit from their website, might be worth checking out. Definitely a unique approach to crypto.

In addition to eliminating the negative effects of inflation, Ampleforth's supply policy naturally aligns with early adopters because even when supply changes, a given holder's percentage of the network remains fixed. Like Bitcoin, gold, and other floating price assets, the system implies a continuum of risk and reward except the difference is reflected in count, rather than price.

The best way to preserve the value of cryptocurrencies is to use US dollars backed stable coins. These coins will only fluctuate by a few cents above and below $1 effectively useful for preserving value, buying the dip and also taking profits.
Good examples are USDT USDC, GUSD.
USDT is the most common of all and is still the highest capped in the market.

Tell me, please, which cryptocurrency is the best for storing money? What is the best coin to choose? What do you think about this?

Well, for me it's best to stick to cryptocurrency that's on the top of the market cap. If you are not trading and just holding your investment, it's the best time to put your spare money on them since the prices are really cheap. If you are patient enough, wait for the bull-market, that way you can earn money once the market starts moving.

If you don't like to experience some volatility in the market while storing your money like in the bank, I recommend that you store it on a stable coin since there is not much volatility in there. Well, as you can see, its price keeps on 1 USD.

Storing money means we want it to be stable so the value when we store and the value in the long term won't change significantly. And yes, USDT could be the best solution to it.  Most cryptos are so volatile and it fits for investment purposes rather than for storing money.

For storage of money, Tether (USDT) has recorded the best of all time. The USDT cryptocurrency is designed to bring a safe haven to all crypto investors and holders in times when the market is bearish. It shows resistance to great fall and great rise hence providing apparently no profit or loss when holding USDT.

The most logical choice would be Bitcoin for several reasons: it currently has the largest market cap among the crypto market; it is among the most highly-traded crypto daily; it is the most adopted crypto as mode of payment in various shops and services; and majority of altcoins have it as their trading pairs.

In terms of utility, it is widely-accepted as the gold digital currency, alongside other altcoins like Ethereum and Litecoin. Also, despite volatility, Bitcoin's bullish movement is evident, and suitable for either short or long term investment. Even if other altcoins might be in red, BTC will not be directly affected. But still, you have to be smart and careful in handling crypto, keep yourself updated to foresee what might affect the market stability.

As for me, bitcoin should be perfect for this business.  He and more stable and very well is gaining momentum for growth.  And its best to use.
good growth and Bitcoin can become Bullrun later, if Bitcoin rises chances are Altcoin will also follow up.
to choose, we must investigate and not choose the wrong one because not all Cryptocurrency is good and we must be good at choosing it.
Bitcoin is the king of coins so he is the best choice and the risk is not too big because he is stable.

I agree when you say bitcoin is the best for this business because bitcoin has a huge price point and that means we can double up our interest pretty easy if ever bitcoins price increases however i wont agree with you when you say that bitcoin is more stable . Bitcoin is actually the most volatile type of crypto among other coins  but its not a problem at all because its high voltility can also be the reason on why it can pump too fast and too much

investing varies can indeed be a good trick to avoid total losses but it can also be a potential way to hinder your capital growth because there may be some types of coins that you choose that are detrimental and that will reduce the profits you make from good coins , therefore it is better for you to only invest in coins that have proven good, for example, bitcoin

Ethereum and Bitcoin can be considered as a best way to store money but the only problem with these crypto coins is that they both have the power of either increasing in their market value or decrease. But if you are only interested in just storing your money  without getting any passive increase in its initial value then I will suggest you store your money in any of the stable coins available in the crypto ecosystem such as USDT. Such crypto coins have no depreciating factors.

Top coins are clearly best for storing the money, it is a determination of the trader which coin has a better store of value. I can suggest XLM, BTC for holding a long term but the last decision should be made by you.

There are only two coins I can advise anyone to keep their money as storage, because of my past experience, and that is Bitcoin and Ethereum.

If your main goal is storage, then use stable coins, the rate of which is almost unchanged and you will always be with your money.

For storing money you need to invest in bitcoin or NEM because bitcoin and NEM is very stable than another alts (My opinion), when you talking about storing, all you need is stable coin.

I don’t believe in NEM at all, this is a very dangerous investment. If you compare the coin with Bitcoin, then it definitely should be Ethereum.

This is a pretty controversial question. How can we call the cryptocurrency being good or bad for storing money? I mean from my point of view, this is basically about everyone's personal opinion. How can we be objective in here?

It depends on the one storing the money ,if the person prefer long term storing I'd advice to go for bitcoin ,that can bring better value to your holdings in near future but if the person wants to store for short term its better to use tether or usdc

I would probably agree with you. Every person is interested in different industry, thus what is good for one person may be not that good for another. So the question is definitely controversial. However talking about the market in general, of course it is important to evaluate the coin before investing. And of course, in here we should use advanced solutions

Do you want to say that there are solutions that help to evaluate the market rationally? Kinda with machine learning or something. To have a deeper understanding of the industry...

Yes, of course. I am not sure that there are several, however I am aware of a truly advanced solution, Vespucci. If you are in somehow deeply in crypto, I believe you must have heard of them

Logically correct, but if you also desire to earned much preferred to buy Bitcoin and used it as your assets, in long term hold value may grow and while you are saving the amount of your investment will also grow together with the market, an advantage which crypto currency offers with their believers and supporters.

Its better to use tether or usdc tokens to store value especially when trading on exchanges ,buy when price drop and sell when price surge and quickly swap to tether so that you can take advantage of further price drop

Just Google Vespucci. They are a part of Volentix ecosystem. In few words, it is a platform that monitors the evolution of blockchain and cryptocurrency markets and, by harnessing the power of cutting-edge AI and Machine Learning technology, delivers unbiased, robust and up-to-date rankings that represent the real value of a very wide spectrum of coins as well as their potential :)

It depends on the time, how long you plan to store it. For short term speculations you can look for a promising altcoin. For long term only Bitcoin could be recommended.

There are some facts about crypto currency, and facts are the same for eveyone, it doesn't change depending on who you are. To answer this question we should think about them: bitcoin is the currency that pushes the market up, bitcoin is the strongest crypto currency, bitcoin is the most valuable currency.
The best one is bitcoin with no doubts. But since you choose top altcoins like eth, ltc, xrp, bch you will be fine too, as they will rise following bitcoin during the bull runs.

I always preferred to store money in BTC and ETH. But now everything changed, instead of ETH I added BNB. BNB is the most inseresny coin, in my opinion now. She allows to participate in IEO on Binance. And also it perfectly grows in the price.

Before thinking of using cryptocurrencies as a store of value or rather to store your money, you should always remember to put the volatile nature of cryptocurrencies into check. Bitcoin has always been good for long term, there is no doubt about it and can also be used to pay for most services as most platforms recognise it more.

First of all you'll need to consider a lot of factors regarding storing your money. That is, for profits, stability, long/short-term earnings etc and that'll determine your choice of coin. Nevertheless, the first on my list will always be Bitcoin. It's proven countless times that it's the best so far.

I think about what you say. That a good coin for you to invest in the top coins. Especially for Bitcoin and Ethereum, This is a coin with a huge community. So these coins continue to have very large supporters and the trading volumes will be very easily experienced.

for bitcoin investment it's the right choice, but for trading choosing bitcoin will be difficult. because the price movements don't happen as fast as altcoin. most store bitcoin for the long term. whereas for trade you can choose assets that move faster and trade more heavily.

If i truly understand what you mean by storing, i guess you are not looking at investing into cryptocurrency, but that if you could store in crypto in a way in which you can easily have access to it since you still use it. I think you should go for stable coins.

If you do not wish to trade and want to keep your assets safe, there are many stable coins. You can convert and store your coins in these stable coins. But my advice is that you should not store coins. Rather it will be beneficial to trade. You can opt for day to day trading to get fast returns on your investment. You can also buy bitcoin and hold it for long term as the coin gives higher investment security.

I believe you already gotten an answer to this if you mean converting crypto to a stable coin, I suggest using TUSD, USDT and PAX. They have been serving me for long and are reliable.

In any case, it must be bitcoin only. It is quite secure than any other coin, even better than stable coin. Stable coins are centrally controlled which is very risky for storing money.

He is using cryptocurrency for paying service fee. Better to put it one. By the way, the least risky portfolio is 100% BTC, trust me. Cause, today or tomorrow you will get your investment back with some profit.

you are right, I see today there is an increase in bitcoin and I think this will bring investment into the crypto market. because some altcoins also increase like bitcoin. if you want to invest without risk I think this is the most appropriate asset.

right, trade is the best thing to do if you want profit so you can't just shut up and wait.
except if we really only want to save our money and don't really expect to get profit then we can buy stable coins.
but if we want to get a profit from the investment, the steps that must be chosen are trade and save coins on coins that are not stable.
