I just stumble across this project called Ludos and they seem to be a really good project to keep an eye on for those who are interested in gaming and crypto. Right now they are in their private sale and the whitepaper is ready to read. It is a really interesting one and worth taking a look on it.

Be specific mate, what games are they into it? You need to give everything about that project, so that investors may try to look at it and once satisfied, they might participate in any sale that the project will commence. I did saw this project but right now as far as I know they don't have a bitcointalk thread, just their Telegram channel, I think that they will do the thread before going on their public sale, but the idea gaming and crypto in the same equation it'a really nice formula, well done by Ludos for making something like this. I will keep my eyes on them for a while and see how they will go with their project.

I just found out about them myself, I didn't read the entire whitepaper yet so I don't know many details about it, but I think that if you go on their Telegram channel there will be someone who can answer your question.

I can ensure you that I don't make part of this project. I just found out about them and I thought that the idea of it is nice. And this is the altcoins thread so I think that it's nothing wrong posting about it here, if I did something wrong please tell and I'm sorry if it is the case.

It's part of the thinking now of the people here that when someone says that they are up to this project or found one, we think that way so that's normal. You did nothing wrong.

In an attempt to reach a larger audience of potential participants to the crypto economy it is a nice initiative to see projects based on games where you can learn and earn crypto even if it is in small amounts. Steps like these only add to the growth of the crypto economy long term and as for this project it still seems to be relatively small I would guess it is starting out but hopefully it'll get some traction and we'll be able to see what they have to offer both new and old to crypto.

Possibly a good one. Gambling and gaming are two industries that could benefit from crypto in the near future. Particularly the provable gambling chances is something appreciated.

No it's not true gaming and crypto is not the same place.the only reason crypto is a digital currency and it is the first king for our young generation.

In crypto space, a lot of project are offering this already, personally would prefer to invest in something unique and new in space, fed up with all the copycat project duplicating previous ideas.

People try to do something with game and crypto , but they are not so many good projects. Maybe this project a little good than others.

There are now a number of games that are providing real tokens as the currency for a game.
Tokens, Coins, Gems, Points or whatever they may call it, tokens has always been linked to success in a game.
Making that token on universal blockchain and off game trading would enable higher amount of in game purchase for freemiums.

There are many gaming tokens but none have really taken off. Mobile go looks like a successful token, they are most likely to succeed due to having a large investment fund to develop from

interesting project, I will investigate a little more, I like very much the implementation that can be done between blockchain and gaming, in fact long ago I had heard of crypto kitties, but whenever this on my radar I forget to review them, but I will definitely look for more information about it, although right now I am involved in another very good campaign (one social network) I am always interested in new projects.

Most ICOs nowadays are having the same ideas and after getting listed to the market, the project will not be developed properly or a change to their road map will be made because of the competition between these projects. Most of the copy cats are having hard time multiplying their price and always following the shadows of the original project where they always comparing their service to them just like what BCH did or other hard fork altcoins.

I think this is the only ico project that is truly pure combining game and crypto on one platform, while some others are more gambling based

For me, I like to play games and also join cryptocurrency. To do both of them in the same industry, it will be more interesting and enjoyable. There are some games that already connected to the cryprto world. I see that as a great improvement.

As I can see, seem like blockchain game is a hot trend at the moment, so many new projects created to develop blockchain game like Yumerium and this one as well. Although it's a great idea but this bear market is making these projects hard to success than usual.

I doubt about that most of blockchain platforms are less popular right now because they have nothing to be played. Remember yume is not the first blockchain platform that based on the game development. Mobile go has already failed to create such a useful product to be used by investors.

Well actually I agree to this, I think it's more convenient for those crypto holders to have a system like this. Because first of all, they are not going to convert their cryptos in any different money or etc but instead they are going to directly put their crypto in the game. There are a lot of great projects that are moving towards the gaming industry. Gaming sector is growing every day, as well as the blockchain industry. The combination of them could lead to huge benefits for both gaming and crypto.

Unfortunately. Gamecoin is pretty much dead. There were supposed to be coins accepted by Steam. Still nothing.

I'd like to see an online game like an RPG that uses a cryptocurrency instead of gold coins or other game currencies. I really liked the Diablo 3 marketplace that allowed people to trade items for fiat currencies but they abandoned that project for some reason.

But about this one project I heared nothing to tell the truth. So it would be great to see some post with the link to their website or at least something)))

I will look at this very well and see what it has to offer, I have always thought that the gaming industry and the crypto industry are always meant to work together side by side, so with something like this there is always the possibility that the coin is going to work out very well. There have been a lot of coins trying to do this, I hope this finally works out

I am not sure if this would be promoted much though. Authorities have now and then tried to regulate/remove such ideas/efforts.

I didn’t dive deep into the theme of games, because I don’t play that often in general, but I think that now blockchain can be integrated anywhere, because now our real world needs to be very carefully checked for truth

Yes there are lots of coin in the market which has the gaming as well as to deliver in the market. Seems interesting but not very secure.

A lot of games now use the in-game currency system, but not in all games, in-game currency is also a means of payment in the real world, this could greatly help in the distribution of cryptocurrency.

I think this is now one of the trend in the crypto space. Cryptocurrency and gaming platforms are gradually gaining recognition. Although,  no matter how good a project might look, always take your time to study it first. I will not because a form of a project is trending, decide not to make a research on it, then throw my money into it and expect a miracle to happen. A project must worth investing on.

There is no doubt that bitcoin is a very potentiating crypto currency and this is the most probable reason why millions of people are investing into bitcoin, with time bitcoin is proving its worth and that is why more and more organisations wants to be a part of it and now offering very good offers to the people so that they can make very good profit out of it and one of that strategy is earning of crypto from gaming and I think this is the most innovative idea of earning crypto as I feel that there would be more and more people and specifically the gamers who would love to earn while playing.

Should I sell a crypto now?

I still can't believe it wasn't considered before but lately they are getting bigger and better. The first really big one is cryptokitties that we all know and we are really sick of hearing that because even if you spend a week there and see what they are about you will see that the demand is not there to make it valuable. Yeah the idea is amazing but it requires a lot of players for it.

Now there are a lot of new ones coming up every single day and if you check from state of dapps website you can see that the number of games are increasing even tough individual games are not getting the attention they used to during the peak prices. The reason for that is the number of gamers are not increasing just yet but the number of games are increasing and they are fighting for all gamers and for a market share.

I've read a white paper about Iico Lodus and it's no different from Playgame. but I don't know for further developments.
