Title: New project for a very beginner
Post by: Lemonshire on October 29, 2018, 07:50:34 PM
Hi all,

We have started a new nice little project (token). A new token, trying to see how it will work out. For me an adventure, a journey and see what it brings and experience whatever  we encounter.

But there is no harm in asking what possible challenges we might encounter. And what difficulties and dangers we have to be aware off.

The first thing we think about is security, our social media accounts and websites needs to be as secured as possible.
The second thing we already facing is, to be fair nobody cares about our project (yet), it's hard to gather a following  :) This needs time

What other things could you guys think about?

Thanks in advance!

Team Light Lemon Unicorn

Developing a token and running an ICO project is not something you do for fun, there are so many shitcoins and if you don't want to end up with one of those you best have a y isn't idea and a plan to realize it.

A team should be the first step, and not just casual acquaintances but qualified individuals.

But to do this you need funds, even before you can start up an ICO.
Best to do extensive research before thinking of starting a project.

I disagree with everything quoted here.

You can start little you don't have to be start perfectly.
Also the idea behind your project should be one that's triggers interests from possible investors. There alot of interesting sectors that cryptocurrency has not yet ventured into so being a unique project will help you guys so much because right now you might not be able to compete with established project.

Also a good and well articulated white paper and road map is necessary. You team has to be dedicated and experienced you don't have to employ the best Devs now just a good devs is OK.

And finally from integrity and be genuine should be your standards and watch word. With so much Scam icos around and addition to that will do us no good. Just try to keep to your words and you can make it

please don't start an ICO if it's a new project and you're a very beginner, beyond that, hope it goes well

The first thing is to gather the right team. Once you have done that and if you have done it correctly you will not have to ask in a forum about obstacles. If you donīt know that... well, you have a long way to go.

It is really hard to see that new project can make their project is real because we see many project that scam or after their made they stop the project. This make investor now carefully choose where will the investment at some project. So maybe that dev should do is
1. Should the project they will make must be real. This mean maybe they not only just made money from investor.
2. Should build great community. Maybe this can doing with doing some bounty so they can help advertising their project. Update about everything that has been or will be done about the project on social media so people can see that you really want to make this project goes according to what was planned.
3. Project should must have unique and original ideas that may not yet be in the blockchain. They can explain this at their whitepaper and their whitepaper should make people easy understand what is actually the purpose of this project.
4. Should have great team and have good experience that can made people interesting with the project.

Hope your project will be success and many people will interesting. sorry if my english is not good enough

If you have one awesome idea and you feel you can bring it to reality then you can go for it. But just to know there would be challenges so it would take determination and apt attention to details to pull a good project through. Probably set up a social media platform profile and get people aware of your intentions, gather a good team to work with.

Here are some of the important points I consider important to run a ICO

-  The right Team ( A mix of tech and Business people)
- Focus in your whitepaper, make it clear for everybody who reads it what is the idea behind it, understand your ICO.
- Focus on your social media channels. You must have a good planning for it.
- Starting to look for possible investors.

I hope I could help you  :)

We have started a new nice little project (token). A new token, trying to see how it will work out.
How it will work out in terms of people actually buying it or that it actually work as intended?
You can always practice by doing such project, but don't let people loose money on it because many people dream about investing in NEW ICO.

Hi all,

Thanks a lot for all the input and suggestions.
We are already a few weeks further.

I agree there are a lot of shitcoins in the market, and it's hard to show people your coin is not a shitcoin. To be fair, our concept is not really something people will actually buy for, but it's more like an experiment to see how far someone could go. Considering technique, our project is subpar (our coding is just bad). So we will have to bring something else into the table to become more unique.

Gathering a right team is something what needs to be done, but to be fair, it's very hard especially nowadays. Not many people are willing to join, since the market is down. And we need to see how far determination goes.
Beforehand it's easy to say: I will be very determined and go for it. In reality it's hard to keep the focus for a long time. But then again we keep trying, takig babysteps to reach the bigger goal.

The name is important as well.

Are you aware that a unicorn is a creation of man, and it was used to round up wild horses and lead them into captivity and slavery. This is why there is a gold chain around the neck of the unicorn on the Royal coat of Arms for England and Scotland.

You also need a goal for your project or the main purpose why you decide to create a new project.
If you are able to answer these questions then you are ready to start a project and make it successful after having right team, project name, logo and lastly the purpose/aim or goal to achieve.
1. Why did you create this project?
2. For what purpose would your project be?
3. Is your project needed or useful to everyone?
