I am planning to date my girlfriend what would be the best food do you suggest?

Find out what she likes. Don't try something you never tried on a first date. For example, don't try to go for a Chinese restaurant if none of you ever been here before because it will turn into a bad experience if you don't like it.
Instead, I would bring her to a nice place which is CLEAN.
If you are living in a nice city like London or New York City, I can tell you some restaurants
where you can go and enjoy your time. For example, restaurants which at 9pm have
some nice music you can dance with her.

I think Chinese or Asian cuisine! This is everybody love. And girls especially like sushi.

If she has a favorite food or kind of food, definitely take her there! If you aren't sure, Japanese is always a good choice, as is Italian. I personally love Mexican and so does my partner, so we get that a lot!

If your a wiz kid in the kitchen.. take her to a horrid little restaurant, apologise for the awful experience and tell her you would like to make it up to her next time by cooking something really nice at your place...

This date should be romantic, so I recommend you small Italian or French restaurant with beautiful music. The most important part of the evening is delicious food, don’t forget about it 😉

It really does depend on her preference. Talk to her and find out what she likes. I recently tried an Asian cuisine at this restaurant in my area and it was sooo good.  Another high point of the meal that day was that I got to pay with Crypto!  It was so cool paying for a meal with my Tapcoins and I plan to visit the place again,  if only so I can remind myself again that this cryptoadoption is finally happening.

I have actually used tapcoin before and I enjoyed it.  I payed for a room at a hotel and I just thought to ask if they used the hooch app,  and funnily enough they did. 
But taking your date out also has to do with a place you enjoy too.  Do your research,  find out what will work for the both of you.

First : restaurant that serves food that she like ( you should be open to ask her about this, usually they won't refuse to tell)
Second : Choose place that's not too crowded/loud. Quiet place is preferred for talking.
Last : choose some place that you will enjoy too :D. Will help to keep you from being too stressful about the date.

Oysters - solely because they are aphrodisiacs which has been proven by scientists! So going to have to be a seafood restaurant my friend! Casanova used to eat 50 of them for breakfast. Try something exotic if you want to make this date memorable. Maybe Arabic or Indian?

In terms of cuisine, it should be something she enjoys. Then when selecting the restaurant, pick something with a nice ambience. Not too fancy, not too casual.

As for me, the best dish for a date is something italian. It is the most amazing cuisine I've ever tried. Such restaurants are always decorated so romantically that it really worth visiting, if you are having a date. But anyway you should go to the restaurant you like, if you like chinese cuisine, go and try it

In my opinion you can't beat French cuisine. Sometimes hard to find a decent restaurant depending where you are but most cities have at least one that's reputable and good.

Choose something that everyone likes. Like Italian restaurant. Everyone likes pizza and pasta, and everyone knows how to use fork and knife and not feel embarrassed. 

Choose some fancy, and didn't discover yet place by your date. But, before, you can ask her about preferences. What she likes, and what doesn't.

I wouldn't suggest a fancy resto, instead an overlooking place with great cold climate would do the magic.

This is very subjective according to taste.  I'd probably go for Italian.

But most of girls love well designed food and great presentations so have that in your date though I know this is year old post

it depends on for how long you know each other, and since when you have been dating. if it is the first time, it would be better to go to a more modern restaurant that serves good wines with some not loudy but live music. if not the first one, it is ok to just go whatever you both would love to eat  :)

I'd recommend just to ask her what she likes. You can't guess for sure.

This all depends on your girlfriend, do you have an idea what food she likes? Usually girls love pasta so if your gf like that then go for an italian resto.

I think she will like any food as long as she's with you so be a romantic and gentleman guy.

Only the invisible that is between people is important. You can spend a good evening in the nearest cafe, when you enthusiastically speak and feel each other. And you can spend a disastrous evening in the most expensive restaurant somewhere near the sea.
Therefore it doesn’t matter, believe me.

If you want to impress your girl you should go to a gourmet restaurant.
There you will find tastes that would be new to the girl and your date would be memorable to her. Don't forget that you should be the one who will pay on the first date!

Depends on the girl/guy TBH. I'm not a huge fan of super fancy dates (although they have their time and place).

For example, I'd rather a road trip w/ music and some drive through then a super fancy date - and the people i've been with in the past were the same. It just depends on the person.

Italian restaurants are really romantic but the food are very expensive specially for those who are investing for their future.

This is great news if you are planning to date your girlfriend  The best food I recommend is Chines You can find it at an Italian restaurant   A place to stay cheaper and more memorable. Your girlfriend will be very happy and she will never forget the day. This will make your evening a lot of fun.

In such cases, I try to find some place with a view of the city. Then book a table by the window, of course, and have a good time with each other, enjoying a great view.

I think a restraunt that overlooks a beautiful view like a river with well arranged tables and beatiful decoration it doesn't matter the type of food

Somewhere where she has never been before, but make sure that she does eat the foods that are represented there. I'd probably talk to her!

I always just like a relaxed atmosphere Where natural light is natural, it seems to me best so far an area where the sunshine humidity is blowing  French restaurants are very useful in permanently food  you'll test the drink chess French fry and that they are so good. We eat them occasionally  The natural great thing about the country will captivate you.

At first try to understand what type of Food your girlfriend like. A new place is always attractive to everyone. I suggest you to try some Asian food in a new and nice Restuarent.

Start by trying to find out what type of food she likes, if you are the type that cooks, you can decide to make the food yourself. Treat her to a food cooked by you, make her feel loved and appreciated. But if you can't cook, Chinese cuisine is always the best.

On my first date with my girlfriend, we ate kebab, it was funny, but we always love to remember it  ;D

In my opinion, Kebab is an ordinary food.
I think that on a first date you have to go to a gourmet restaurant in order to taste special tastes and flavors that would be memorable for you and your girlfriend.

others are going to expensive and deluxe restaurant but just after a week or months breaking Up because their Relationship is Fancy and materialistic .

My first date was an inprint into my heart that I can never forget, my boyfriend then but now husband, took me to a Chinese restaurant. Its was an amazing experience. You can give it a try

Man you should research her background and know some place far far away from your town. Make sure she hasnt been gone to this place before and surprise her further with other treats like restaurants with dinners in the sky. Search for it in google and you'll be amazed.

I agree with you, besides Google search we have many beautiful places and restaurants in our own country. French restaurants are a lot of fun and memorable I ate grill chicken and naan bread on my first date and it was fun.

With all this pandemic, shutdown, lockdown, quarantine stuff, any restaurant that is not open, and has shades over the windows, will do.
