But seriously, 500 BTC isn't that much when you look at the world's millionaires/billionaries. You can't even buy a house with 500 BTC at current prices in many expenses places. If I had that much to spend in a day, I'd buy a TESLA S and a small cabin in the woods and live as a hermit.

Don't matter which way look at it 500BTC is a lot of money and you can easily buy a very nice house with it in many places around the world.

Nearly always someone richer that's true and more expensive houses but you could do a lot with 500BTC

Its actually a two faced coin if you compare yourself holding 500btc with bill gates richness then its dumb but if you look at the things you could do  and the actual usd of 500BTC without a comparison its alot.

There is lot of ways to spend money but very few ways are there to earn

I would spend 200 btc for a nice car.
I would gamble 200  btc in just dice.

create a new coin, called DarkMatterCoin.  make 500 of them, and sell them all for 0.0005BTC a piece until 24 hours is up.  then buy up the remainder, and sell them for 0.001 BTC the next day.  doubling every day, until all the bitcoins are run out  ;D

I'd set up a world trip vacation in different places!!

I shared my Idea of spending 50BTC in previews post in this thread and this is what I wanted to say but finished my post at Traveling the world itself, I just hope someday i don't realize 500BTC is not enough for me to survive in this world ... 500 BTC's is about 360,000 USD Currently, If I am obligated to spend them in 24 hours I say buying gold for there worth and later sell it and use it with no time limits :P

I never checked the price of this particular model, don't even know the name, just liked the picture.
The prices vary, you can get one for $300k or $3mil, all depends on whether it's new or used, interior design, engine power and so on. It's just like buying a car.

Finland have cold and ice winters, need very good wintertyres. Plus speedbumps i hate it, bad on lowprofile car.
If you have 500 BTC you can buy elevator on yard where you can choose diffirent car everyday on drive.
Own business is more important, example bitcoin hashing. ;D

I can see so many people talking about expenses, nobody about generating more money. Some get a yacht, others a Mclaren,
NONE realize that after you pay $1 million for a yacht or a brand new McLaren, you will pay $250k each year on maintenance and stuff
like that. You don't realize it until you actually have these money which are not a lot.
Don't get me wrong, they make a difference but not enough for you to get yachts, multiple lamborghinis, etc unless
you want to go broke in 3 years. The only realistic thing you can
do with $3 million is to multiply them while keeping a short fund for your future years.

But again, people will be people and deny the truth, live their dream in their heads, be super materialistic and care only about stupid objects
when all we should care about are other people in our society. 

Let's just say if you have only 24 hours to spend, it's natural to start thinking of ways to spend as quick as possible.

On the other hand, I agree with you on those items which quickly lose value over time. I'd rather spend to earn more than simply splash on lavish stuffs.

Many would buy luxurious things with this large amount of money but I rather invest it right now.

Or create a new company on yourself, anything that is permanent and self sustaining.
