Title: GPU RAM TYPE ???
Post by: samet_9511 on October 31, 2018, 09:37:08 PM

AMD RX570 4GB MSI Armor OC GPU

I saved the bios by using atiflash.
I opened the saved bios by using Polaris Bios Editor.
I see Elpida and Hynix_1 options.
I checked by using GPU-Z. I see Micron.

Which RAM does this GPU have ?

Elpida ?
Hynix ?
Micron ?

You probably have two kinds of chips installed on your card. You have to use PolarisBiosEditor (last version 1.6.7). Timings can be modified In this program automatically with one click of a button.

It should be Micron, usually the one which GPU-Z shows is the right one. In Polaris Bios Editor or other similar programs it is read otherwise for as much as I am concerned unknown reasons, but one thing I am sure is that GPU-Z is the correct program to view the RAM producer for the card.
