I have rewatched " Some like it hot" and now understand that old movies were made with soul and were more qualitative. Do you agree with me and what old films can you recommend ?

It depends on my mood. There's a time for comedy. There's a time for some horror. There's a time for a little bit of action. I just want it well-made.

I love philosophical films about life.

I think the most one I like comedies! The only genre that makes you to feel really better!

Ai Nante Irane Yo Natsu is a film associated with my childhood and up until now I still love watching this movie.

If I had to choose a type of film I would choose action and romantic films. I always see this type of film in my house but I prefer to see it at the cinema because it´s more exciting.

Nobody is unaware of the famous 1997 film Titanic.

007 films are great I think. Especially the ones starred by Daniel Craig.

American Psycho & The Killing Room

The latter is a great movie about what it would be like to run little psychological experiments on people to get a particular outcome.. its a little long and boring for some people but for people who like psychological thrillers I think its pretty cool.

Another good psychological movie is 'The Exam' where they are all in 1 room, and have to solve the question on the paper.

To relive stress from trading i prefer comedy films , it works for me and next day i can trade mindfully  8)

I'm not sure I would agree with this, though. Older films do have a certain something about them and often come with nostalgia or "soul" as you say, but most of my favorite films are largely modern ones and can have great atmospheres. I think the problem with the film industry today is just so much trash gets produced and it can dilute the experience. Modern mass produced blockbusters aren't going to have any soul to them but they're made for a certain audience and apparently people really love giant monsters and things exploding all the time so no soul required. There are gems to be found if you loook, though.

Usually I try to watch something that you can think about later and become better because of it. If I go to cinema then its usually Marvel-kind movies with effects and no good script.

I prefer historical films such as The Other Boleyn Girl and Elizabeth:The Golden Age.

Watching horror movies are my favorite. I  like movies that thrills me.

I just saw the new movie, Bohemian Rhapsody, about Freddie Mercury and Queen. Twas a great time, highly recommend it. I also really enjoyed Hidden Figures, I watched it on a plane from NY to LA the other week, very good.

I prefer sci-fi and horror films, but I enjoy a good comedy every now and then too.

My favourite type of film is comedy because you can relax and  spend a good time with friends, your parents or alone. Comedies can mix different things like love, thriller, horror.

I think it depends. There are still good movies that have been made with heart and soul. You just need to find them, like you need to find a good ICO with a good team.. just needs a little research from your part  :)

With regard to the types of films I like, I prefer the romantic and action ones. Traditionally, everybody has a favorite film that they watch twice or more. Furthermore, people usually watch films because of the actors that appear in them. Indeed, my favorite actor is Ryan Gosling.

I like the action movies

For the longest amount of time I used to love watching science-fiction films. They allowed me to lose myself in a futuristic landscape. I spent hours trying to imagine what the future might hold for us. Nowadays I search out comedies. Nothing like a good laugh to help you forget some of your daily troubles.

I prefer only comedies. And comedies with good humor. I don't like all the other types of films, because for me films are something that should entertain people and make them feel good. That's why I don't like such types of films as dramas, thrillers psychological films and others. I am very easy impressionable person and such films make me depressed.

I agree with you! Now there are a lot of unnecessary violence and vulgarity in the films. This is sometimes depressing. Moreover, all this is enough in life. I like to watch films like Felini.

Documentaries, preferably about ancient history - Rome, Greece, Egypt etc.

It always depends on my mood what to choose, but my favorite films are those, which have sense. I like thoughts-provoking movies, which are in my memory for a long period of time after I've watched it.

I don't watch movies as much as I used to but I my favorite one to watch is Intouchables. It's a nice feel good movie and the music in that movie is great. Thank you Ludovico Einaudi.

The best films for me are dramas and comedies. everything depends on my mod. if i tired or exhausted even devostated I prefer to watch interesting drama with different twists of the plot. if i'm happy = comedy is the best film for me.

I like old movies (Hollywood' in general). And recently I've found "The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin". It's a really interesting one on this topic.

Me too mate! I like to see movies based on the lives of popular people so I can commend and appreciate them. And movies based on history especially about the historical wars so I can understand the present based on the facts that happened before. Well, I guess that's the real purpose of this kind of movie genre. To get educated and to learn something. Which I love.
