Title: Re: You are really smart (genius lvl)? To whom belongs Taiwan?

Regarding the Taiwan issue, it is not that China cannot solve it by force, nor is it that the United States cannot support Taiwan’s independence.

In my opinion, Taiwan is actually a chess piece between China and the United States.

In other words, China does not intend to unify Taiwan, and the United States does not intend to make Taiwan independent.

Let me explain why: Maintain the status quo of Taiwan is in the interest of both China and the United States.

If China unifiy Taiwan, it will lead to a more hostile measure to China, which may lead to comprehensive international sanctions. The most important thing is that China will lose a weight that is bargaining with the United States.

If Taiwan independent, it will give China a reason to fully develop its military power, and it may lead to China’s full-scale Naziization. The most important thing is that the United States also will lose a weight that is bargaining with China.

Therefore, both China and the United States hope that Taiwan can maintain the status quo.

However I have a question according to your analysis, why is the chinese diplomacy working so diligently (and successfully  :))  to eradicate all international support for taiwan? how do you integrate this factual information in your overall view? Because as you see, I guess, it's doesn't work... The problem is that at this rhythm soon it's the core... so my question.

1. I guess this is related to the current CHN-US trade war, and it takes a strong attitude in the political game against Taiwan to bring pressure to the United States. Because China is at a disadvantage in the trade war, they must create trouble for the United States in other ways, this is their usual means.

2. The current leaders of China are setting a prestige among Chinese citizens to change the weak diplomatic image of past leaders and the toughness to Taiwan can win the support of the populists.China now has a large number of populists.

3. Working so diligently to eradicate all international support for taiwan does not mean preparing to recover Taiwan, it is just to show the world the power of China.

4. Both China and the United States hope that Taiwan can maintain the status quo is limited to the current international situation, but the international situation will change. Does not rule out China’s possibility of unifying Taiwan in the future. Of course, I think that one day, when China thinks that it has the ability to compete with the United States for world hegemony, it will do so.

First of all, thank you for your "crazy" reply. :o
Forgive me for not fully understanding what you want to express, even though I work hard to guess what you mean.
Your words are so crazy. Sorry, I can only describe it like this, no offense.
It seems that you were drunk.

Although, I am in favor of small governments and local independence, I don't wish well to any of these type of places that exist only because of wealth flight.  Taiwan is not run by the natives but by Chinese who stole wealth from the people of the mainland and escaped to the island.

This type of montecarloism is pure evil.
