There are lots of podcasts about blockchain and crypto and Bitcoin. But, how many radio stations are there for crypto listeners?

I know of only one - https://www.crypto24radio.com/
But, would really love to give a try to others as well.

Cryptoradio io is one I know, but it is only a podcast, not a radio. Don't know about radios for just crypto, unfortunately. Would be a cool thing though!

Never really thought about a radio station, that would be a pretty good idea but I can't imagine how they would fill the airtime.  Perhaps for now podcasts are the best way to discuss crypto until it becomes a bit more mainstream.

I think we should be able to discuss these things. Especially new things and projects that could help spread the crypto-words, like crypto radios for example.

Hah, these things are very strange combined. In my country, you rarely find people who still use the radio. I do not think that millennials (and they are the main audience of cryptocurrency) use the radio.

I agree here. All these crypto memes, songs, radios, comics and so on - they are only good for crypto overall and attracting new people to it, getting their attention.

Wow i never knew that their are even radio service for the cypto, i am just listening the crypto24radio station and hearing about the crypto details is really giving me very pleasure. I will try the other sites also.

Yes, it is awesome. Right now I'm listening to the crypto24radio and they are talking about crypto news right now. Great way to keep yourself up-to-date with happenings in the crypto-space.

That’s true, not many people are interested in radio these days, they all prefer watching videos. I can’t even remember the last time I listened to a radio station or a podcasts, cause to me it kind of gets boring especially podcasts, they will be talking about a particular topic for like one hour and it sometimes pisses me off. Radio is even better than listening to podcasts. Lol.

I think it depends on where you listen, what you are doing while listening etc. For example, I like listening to podcasts/radio while I'm driving or working and these tasks make a big part of my day. A great podcast episode or just listen to a Spotify radio/playlist. I can't really watch YT videos while driving or working. So this doesn't work for me, but again, people are different and like different things.

There are very few of them, and so far they have been doing really good. There is this project i know of, cyberfm you can get their radio app from Google playstore and App store. it is really a nice radio station

I never heard any "crypto radio" before but I figured it would be quite useless. I mean crypto is a hectic world but there are two reasons why something like that wouldn't really work out well.

First is, radio is generally for music, even if there are shows where people talk and say funny stuff all those are presented with songs in between. It means a "crypto" radio will have to provide music too, which makes it not so crypto and quite mainstream type.

The second part is, if you try to make it like a 24 hour podcast of crypto stuff than you will run out of interesting stuff, you need to find interesting crypto personalities and make their shows and give them a time slot where everyone would love to listen. Also since crypto is global you can't really make it a global radio all at once neither, while some people listening the best show during prime time, it is early morning in another country.

I don't think this is a good idea. Radio is gradually being phased out in the current society. Users are usually drivers or seniors. Their attitude towards cryptocurrency is conservative. This is not the mainstream market for cryptocurrencies. It is more likely that the group of young people will implement the transmission of cryptocurrency culture.

I also think the same as you, now Radio has started to be abandoned by people since the existence of multimedia technology like Television
so I don't think this will be effective to spread the news about cryptocurrency through Radio but is it possible to create a TV station, specially for cryptocurrency? what do you think guys

It turns out there's a lot about crypto but not on radio channel only an extent podcast.

indeed there are some people who know crypto, while those who know are also reluctant to try it, maybe the focus here is mostly young people. for those elders I think it's still complicated to understand blockchain and cryptocurrency

It became interesting, as before I almost never even thought that a cryptocurrency could be discussed on the radio. The data context is interesting, it is a discussion of all or selective topics.

I never even heard of one up until now. I cannot imagine someone setting up a platform and with a group os people that just talks about crypto 24/7 or less. Anyway, thanks for the post and to the comments. Now I can listen to radios/podcasts again.

A rather interesting project sometimes wants to listen to the best analysts of the cryptocurrency market and blockchain. There are no such radio stations in my country and why no one came up with such a thing would be very interesting for people like me, crypto enthusiasts. And yes, there are no other languages on this site, which is very bad. But I think in the future they can add this feature.

I have never heard about crypto radio stations. Do you believe that this type of mass media will be really interesting among crypto community. I don't think so.

I don't think this is created for mass media, more for crypto people themselves. It can help if some people outside of crypto stumble upon it and give it a go, but I don't think this is the main aim.

Listening to the Crypto24Radio right now, pretty refreshing and cool someone has time for something like this, bravo!

Given the fact that most of the crypto-enthusiasts are in their teens or 20s, I don't think that there will be a lot many takers for crypto radio stations. It is mostly the middle-aged and the elderly who listen to radios.

I have never heard of any crypto radio stations out there, maybe one or two podcasts but that is about it. I mean cryptos are popular and all but I do not think that we are at that point right now where there is going to be stations which are just talking about cryptos all the time. It will happen but it is going to be in the future when there is more interest in cryptos

They produce some good content imo and are live 24/7 with all crypto and blockchain stuff.

radio is the media that fans are now starting to leave behind, if crypto also directs socialization via radio it is also very good, but I am not sure of the results

Yes, it remains to be seen. But imagine, you can tune in at any time of the day. Just one click and there will always be some content about crypto. If you are a fan of crypto, how can't you be a fan of an idea having a 24/7 source of something you love. I am a big fan of ice hockey. I would love to have a radio that talks 100% hockey all the time, podcasts, news, etc etc. I mean, who wouldn't love that.

I did not hear radio stations at all, for I know that there are so many channels on youtube because many people watch and receive information from there, so I think it would be better to just be interested in information from various sources, I would also not mind such radio stations.

I think this post is spot on by Copod. I like podcasts, I like watching YouTube videos. But radio is also such a good way to keep yourself entertained and it's a source you can get your hands on all the time.

I feel like many posters here just read a word radio and instantly think about something old-school, something out of date, not cool, just generally old, an old radio like these here:

There is a telegram channel on which post different podcasts about the crypto.

News, podcasts with different and interesting topics about crypto and blockchain, music, other content. I mean, it can't get any better than that for a crypto lover. If you are a crypto lover, you would have already clicked and listened.

I really like the daily news on Crypto24Radio (http://www.crypto24radio.com), also podcast episodes are nice. But, I'm mostly looking for new knowledge and I get it there. Music is also decent, but not my priority when it comes to specific themed radio station like cryptocurrency radio station.

I am sure that for our current Bitcointalk forum, you need to create your own radio broadcasting in different languages. It is very convenient to be on the Forum, write your opinion in posts and at the same time in the background listen to news about the state of crypto. This is my official offer.

Do not know any crpyto radio stations,but before I go  to sleep or in car a play YouTube videos. Do not watch the video, I just listen to it. Also good source of information, however more demanding on the data.

I did not listen to anything, only now I think whether it is necessary or not. We are here and in order to introduce new technologies, and such as radio and TV should simply go down in history. So youtube and just the internet is what you need.

To be honest, I have never heard of it. I think that now I will begin to listen to those links that were written here. I hope I will hear a lot of useful information about cryptocurrency and I will not hear anything superfluous.

I've found one more podcast called TheCryptoShow. And NeoCash Radio seems to be not bad. Also, I saw some crypto-related materials on resources like Speaker, TuneIn, and other similar websites. So, if you're interested enough, you can find even more.
