Title: Cryptocurrency prices are dropping - what will you do?
Post by: sunno330 on November 04, 2018, 01:07:37 PM
Throwing it out there to see what alternatives are available. Last year when market was hot everyone rejoiced at the rise of crypto and demise of dollar. Now that the crypto market is losing value – are there any options other than bailing out?

I have some options for you.

1. Hold.
2. Buy.
3. Go away from the market for a while and get back to it when it gets better.
4. Not advisable - sell then get out of the market forever.

For some reason, it seems to me that you are very much mistaken in your thoughts, because today, for example, the value of the BCH project is growing very strongly, but I think that today cryptocurrency will have great opportunities.

This is the best idea to be honest

But ask yourself this question, why have you come this far if you are thinking of quitting ??

Are they dropping down? I would not say. Already 2 months the price is in the flat. If you look at the general trend, then you can certainly say that the price is falling. The market stopped waiting for something ...

I sold everything and got out of this market, but when I came back I bought everything at a higher price. And now I'm still losing with this action of mine. I don't need to do anything at the moment, I will not sell them anymore. Hold and wait until I get profitable

We can only do is to hold our coins and wait for the recovery of the market. If you have money then buy to increase your investment. I'm optimistic that we can repeat those bullish that we have last year.

Walking away is the best option that doesn't really know what to do or while walking away, study the market a bit so you can have some background before putting money.

In my opinion, point 1 & 3 are good options. I did it for last few months and will be back when the market value get better
Those options are the best only for those who believe in the market. But for someone that doubts the potential of the market, it's better for them to stay away and don't look back to the market.

Well the investors can do is to wait for the market to rise again so that everyone will rejoice. Patience and also trust. We can say that it will surely have market pump cryptocurrency only needs time and so as trusted investors and no more FUDs. Everything will be alright, just wait and see.

I'd just regret on holding and keep on holding. My crypto prices are decreased by 5 folds.
Crypto are in their one of the lowest point and there is not much to go down. The remaining path is only upper. Though the wait is frustrating, patience would surely pay off one day.

You not only the one was doing that, me too. Just hold it until these coins become a trash (maybe), I dont think the value of coins was I bought will recover in few months (I was holding it for 2 months or more).

Yeah, in some cases I can get back my profit by doing that. Like you said if the potential of market is doubtful I'll choose to get out from there.

I think that the alternative is to buy a considerable amount of promising coins or much safer, BTC and ETH. You can see it as an opportunity or preparation for the next bull run. It might be next month or maybe the next year. We never know. So grab the opportunity while it is at hand.

If you panic, the right choice is to hold it, don't sell at this falling price. Be patient the market will be able to rise, you will not lose your time in holding because it can be an opportunity to gain profits in the future.

The dropping of crypto is expected and in my opinion there aren't drastic, they're only minimal in comparison to the price of BTC. As such, my advice is to hold and not sell, at the end of the day this is a waiting game, is it not?

why are all afraid of the crypto price drop in the market. isn't crypto used to be worse than this before it rises at the end of 2017 first. people who have known crypto for a long time will know what they will do if the crypto price in the market decreases which is to keep believing and waiting until the price actually returns to normal as expected.

buy back
trading daily can make an option in the current situation.
if you want to make a profit, you try to learn the market from month to month has the same pattern. I think daily trading is enough to provide a solution rather than just waiting and holding back

I'm sure the most patient will win our case. Before deciding to invest, I studied all the options and so now i'm calm for the result. But, of course, everything can happen unexpectedly. But let's just say I'm 90% sure of my choice and that's why I'm not going to sell coins. The main thing is to follow the news and respond quickly to changes.

If you have a lots of time and real courage to learn deeper ways to earn inside this market, holding can be good but it will take a longer time with the volatility and the downwards movements, so I agree that there's still choices and opportunities to gain decent earnings by doing the short term system, it's needed a big nerve taking the risk and patients of finding moving coins and take every opportunities that will be opened from time to time.

The entire market is under correction at the moment and I think the best thing to do is to cash out. Once the market started acting weirdly the best thing to do is cash out to cut the loses.

Crypto is down but not too sharp, buy and save for the long term, it's better to remain optimistic about getting a high price later. Each period must be up and down is reasonable so be patient for the future. People who sell are people who are impatient and luck will come to those who are patient.

I'm not really bothered about the price because it is really stable now. At this price, one can buy in, soon the price will climb again from what I'm observing.
3. Go away from the market for a while and get back to it when it gets better.

This is the most difficult advise to heed by an addict.  ;D

Believing and continuously supporting might bring hope there's no need to worry if you do believe that things will be back to its uptrend positions,
the market is really unpredictable small pumped can happen from time to time you need to have extra patients, support and hold till you see the
positive outcome.

dropping means its a 100% buying opportunity. Also try to do airdrops and bounty and earn extra income and invest those earnings in good alts. also if you are doing a job then you can invest more using your salary too. also if you do not have enough money then stake your coins in wallets and hold them

Before buy coin to trade, make sure that have good news regarding that coin.

Surely it is.

The problem of others is that they keep on worrying and echoing that the market is so bad that they can't take it any longer. And that's the solution for them, they have to get out if they really don't want to take it anymore because it is not helping them if they have that feeling.

I think crypto is in good shape, there is no loss of value anymore which is too large and more into the stable. Thus this becomes nice and doesn't need another path to crypto. keep wait and hold will be a priority for either. even when daring to trade then crypto still could produce.

Try to switch to dollar or dollar like for now. The market will always cycle and reverse. That should preserve value vs fiat of what you currently have.
If this is the bottom as some say, then start accumulating.
IMO, I think we haven't seen the bottom yet as lots are still hopeful and looking forward to end of the year potential bull run.

I don't see the prices dropping anymore not since the last dip in early August, they are just moving sideways really within a tight range and will continue to do so until Bitcoin breaks out and starts its next bull phase. I don't like selling at a loss through lack of patience so I am holding my coins for now and increasing some of them whilst prices are still cheap. Expect some recovery from Quarter 1 of 2019

If you are deep in and have big -% your options are really limited to:

-Buy more and increase your bag: That way when the rise happens it will be much easier for you to recover.
-Keep holding: If you are holding from a long time and you are already in a big loss, selling now will make no sense it is better to keep holding and hope for the market to recover soon.

And if you are just about to get in, then you will have no better time to jump in the train, the whole market is already in a huge dip, I think it is beat time to invest.

Since investing in cryptocurrency and bounty campaigns is just my hobby and I think that's the way most people do, I'm just going to wait for better times. ;) And I want to start studying investing in the stock market (NYCE), the main time and desire, but it's much more difficult than buying coins and tokens.

I, like many people in the subject of cryptography, will wait for the recovery of the market and gradually trade. My coins I sell are not going to close this topic, I will not.

When prices are falling for me, the best tactic is to wait, the most important thing is not to panic. For the decline of the market is always growing, you can also explore the coins and buy

Hello, mate now the best option is to keep holding until recovering the market. We are hoping a bull run in near future. So need no hurry. Just keep your works as normal.

Investing money and then hold is the most wrong type of investment when you cannot influence the price movement of your asset.

To me, when the market goes down, I still retain the virtual currency that I have. I try to buy more new altcoin and sell it as soon as it rises. Perhaps a short-term investment will be an effective investment strategy for me when the market goes down.

Throwing it out there to see what alternatives are available. Last year when market was hot everyone rejoiced at the rise of crypto and demise of dollar. Now that the crypto market is losing value – are there any options other than bailing out?
If prices of coins are dripping, it is always an opportunity to buy more. Sometimes, you just have to wait for dumper to finish dumping and buy from them at very low prices. Whales and those who understand this, most especially retail investors, do not waste opportunities, but take advantage of such.

I do not want to sell my coins now and I will keep them until I get the desired profit from them
