Title: Blockfolio Updated Itself?
Post by: jerry0 on November 05, 2018, 04:38:20 AM
To anyone that use this program on their iphone, did anyone notice it updated itself?  It looks horrible.  But not only that, i notice that it doesn't seem to update correctly for each coin?  Example say you add coins like btc, litecoin and lisk and a whole bunch of other coins even if you don't own them.  Previously whenever you opened blockfolio, it would update the numbers for ever coin.  Now it seems like you have to click on each coin to see its current price?  That is ridiculous.

Anyone here have this issue and know how to fix this issue?  Any way to use the old blockfolio?

Yes, I updated the application, but I did not see the errors you mentioned. On the contrary, I liked the application more after the update. And I'm using it faster now.  The prices of the tokens are also written on the homepage (I don't have to check into the token/coin) and every time I log in to the application, it automatically updates all of them again.

I work for Blockfolio. for me, it is more convenient for its interface. but I've heard that Cryptocompare is a good thing too.

I'm using blockfolio for android and I had no problem with it so far , I like the new update , seems cool and it supports a lot of altcoins and you dont see some of them on coinmarketcap because of low volume.

i thought i accidentally 'press something' to update it because it got updated automatically.
yes i have this kind of problem too right now, a bit laggy and sometimes the price did not update or even in some occasion it stopped working for a moment.
not surprising though because bug will happen whenever we are updating our app, right now i am still using it despite all of those problem they have. because it is simpler to check my portfolio and my desired coins price instead of opening coinmarketcap app.

Blackfolio released its update and I do not like it either, but it could not be that the app has updated itself. You should have some automatic update download function enabled or so, because if it did, I would be pretty surprised.

Guys, I don't have that problem. I advise you to write to the technical support of this application and ask them to understand the situation.
If the problem is not solved, you can download another application for tracking the cryptocurrency rate. Now there is a choice and they are all basically the same, with the same set of functions.
Now in the market of the river of blood and it is better not to go into your block blockfolio)

I deleted Blockfolio a while ago, so this way I don't have to look at my depressing portfolio in these hard days. I thought that I had a solid little portfolio, with promising coins, but still it is going down by a lot (as everything else).

That's probably the best decision that you made.

I still have my blockfolio installed and you know what? I looked on it once for this week as I'm used to check coinmarketcap.com. And that hurts though I'm trying to endure all of this bad market. We do have solid portfolio but it can't be exempted during the market goes on dip.

Lol, that's the reality and we have to face it. If ever you are stressed seeing your portfolio down then be careful as it will affect your health.

I have used this app on galaxy s8+ and this app has so many bugs. I uninstall my blockfolio. This has already happened in so many times when the system didn't show the correct amount of my token and coin. Just try to avoid this one and I suggest you to use another portfolios app that even better than this one.

On my Android, my blockfolio works very badly. I was disappointed in this application when I change my iphone to adroid

Is anyone here having the same issue?  Using it on iphone and after it automatically updated, it lags a lot.  Example i put a ton of coins on the app to watch etc.  And i have to click on each coin for each one to automatically update the price almost every single time.

Thus imagine i did not open the app for a bit... then check it... the price is like how it was before i closed the program.

Anyone still have this issue?  I notice i have to click on a coin in my watch list to view it first... then the other coins will all update.  Previously, you had to click on each coin separately to look at current price.

I am using the blockfolio android app,  aside the fact that sometimes the prices doesn't update automatically (maybe because of network issues) but the app has been great especially with the new signal addition.
