BTC is doing just fine with all the shitcoins, of course a lot need to disappear and they will in time but people need to learn this for themselves. These projects have to fail for people to realise bitcoin is the best investment instead of just being told that.

We have our preferences in the market and you can't stop those folks that loves to hold, buy and pump altcoins.

you cannot blame other people if they want to invest with that kind of coin, first reason is that you dont know what strategy they are doing to make money with those alts, second reason is that people dont know if the alts is a shit one or not most of them investing with a coin that really dont know where it will end.

They'll coexist. It should be balanced. We won't be able to determine whether a coin is shit or not if it's only bitcoin that is functioning. Negative and positive should always come together. Good and bad. Ugly and beautiful. That's how complicated life is. We just have to embrace both and decide for ourselves which path we walk and follow.

Quite agree on what he said though, instead of ranting about and making the shitcoins be gone , how about we just focus more on what its the better , and that is bitcoin though. And other alt coins like ethereum. But well, on the other hand how about take time reading all the meme about bitcoin though LOL.

Totally agree regarding shitcoins. It's amazing how many cryptocurrencies there are right now, 99% of which are just clones of each other. Only a small handful have anything unique / usable about them. The rest are living on borrowed time, the market will soon realise how useless they are and they're going to die hard.

Shitcoins do not affect the price of the bitcoin,no matter how much they get pumped.
And everyone has got his or her opinion and can invest in any coin he/she wishes to invest in,it all depends on the ability to make profits

This I don't think it could be true, why because I don't think a single tree can make a forest. Because in every market determinant,  there should be a very good competition because that's what will be driving everyone to sucess and greater achievement dito to cryptocurrency as well.

I think it will be a natural progression for useless coins to fizzle out,
Maybe people will stop throwing away funds in an attempt to catch
1000%+ pumps. There really is only some top projects that have a

Shitcoins are shitcoins ,we can't really stop them but it makes sense that if shitcoins reduce then it will favour the number one top coin ,alas we might see a new coin that will surpass bitcoin soon, I'm looking at bitcoin cash ,many will go against it though

People are quite on the wrong track if they believe that altcoins are bad for Bitcoin. Not sure if any of you figured out already, but altcoins are making sure that a million or more Bitcoins are taken out of direct circulation.

What do you think will happen when +1 million Bitcoins suddenly no longer have a purpose? Right, they will be dumped on the market which will bring us back to where we were a couple of years ago in terms of pricing.

I know most of the altcoins are utter garbage coins, but they help keep Bitcoins out of circulation, and that's what matters here. Try to look at things differently. Most of Bitcoin's volumes are generated against altcoins. ;)

Precisely, and the less focus they receive the quicker they'll disappear for good. The less savvy investors who enable these coins to exist will run out of money soon enough and then there won't be anyone to fund their ICOs etc. Once that's the case there won't be so many of them spamming the market.

Actually, this shitcoin is growing because of the presence of BTC, if there is no BTC then shitcoin is also not there. Many people want to reach BTC, but the way gradually, through this stage is certainly by looking at the value of each shitcoin and its volume, so they both run in harmony not to turn it off.

Well in  a way you have a point but let's not forget that all these ICOs that are coming forth, some have very useful case which the world could benefit from so i suggest we regulate the number of ICOs that are coming up because some of them are very irrelevant and have no potential behind it.

I don't know the exact number of the altcoins but in the coinmarketcap there are 2094 altcoins are listed. (https://coinmarketcap.com/all/views/all/) So i believe that there would be more than 10.000 altcoins in the market. I made some research on the google but i couldn't find it. I believe that this is horrible and going to be more ugly if it  continue like this. Some one should do something before it gets really messy.

It isnt them existing, it's everything being labelled under cryptocurrency that confuses the non crypto people.

We need defined "levels" of crypto currency (or something) to separate what are stores of value, decentralized protocols, limited supply cap coins, "blockchain" solutions banks will use, ERC20 Tokens, privacy focused...

Until that happens, a new person trying to understand anything about the space is going to avoid it, which keeps the value of everything down.

You know most of these shitcoins are converted back to Bitcoin <BTC> in the end, because the shitcoins have zero utility, so people will speculate with them and when they want to use it for something useful, then they convert it to bitcoins or fiat.

Also, we have many other reserve currencies around the world, but you only have a few strong global currencies like the Dollar. So Bitcoin can be compared to the US Dollar.  8)

Those campaigns to pump ICO's and new shitcoins need to go away. The best way is to just avoid being "in the loop" with the newest projects. Most are barely ideas and people start throwing bitcoin at them, those ones never end well.

Shitcoins are purposely made for the developer and teams to gain profit. They know it will be a shitcoin project but still proceed it because of cash$$. After ROI triple times  on their  project, They magically forget and move away.

Shitcoins are a serious distraction to potential investors. It is one of the setbacks to the growth of bitcoin and cryptocurrency. It will be a wonderful thing if it can be done away with.

Altcoins are far more riskier, but they can bring good multipliers. Almost every coin in top-20 begin as sheetcoin...

I don't think btc need shitcoins die but they are eventually.

This year people saw that shitcoins are shitcoin and i believe they learned not to buy them.

The blockchain ecosystem is large enough to accommodate every innovation ideas, All other coins are not in anywhere affecting bitcoin negatively. Variety is the spice of life, The different tokens with the projects that back them is making the world ecosystem interesting and captivating.

One example of this is the selfdrops. People would rather invest on selfdrops than ICO's because they can gain bigger profits out of it. Tokens from selfdrop is a PUMP and DUMP and what will happen next?? It will turn out yo be a shitcoin. People should stop promoting and stop investing on this selfdrop thing.

Nothing wrong with having a few shitcoins, makes the crypto market interesting. The problem is when there is an overdose in shitcoins that dilutes the bitcoin market, and that includes bitcoin cash
