It can be done as VMware uses the same processor as the host machine.
I would in no way test it on a regular machine because I don't know the integrity of the person/s behind this project. Title: Re: Mining bitzec with cpu Post by: Bitzec on November 08, 2018, 08:11:50 PM Difficulty 2. Something

Title: Re: Mining bitzec with cpu Post by: darius5 on November 09, 2018, 07:43:15 PM Too little news about your project to run. What starting value does your currency have and where can you buy / sell?
Title: Re: Mining bitzec with cpu Post by: Bitzec on November 09, 2018, 09:58:54 PM Mining with cpu should be not a major investment
That you have to sell it for covering electric costs Imo Maybe it will hit exchanges some day Iam not going after exchanges now Next step is getting mobile wallets to be able to do sapling transactions i think ..that would also mean zero-knowledge messaging on mobile devices Title: Re: Mining bitzec with cpu Post by: codegnome on November 10, 2018, 01:14:31 AM This coin is at an early stage of development and it's not on any cryptocurrency exchange.

Now even the old and proven coins have fallen few times. Maybe I gonna try to mine BITZEC for sporting interest.

(now it shows zero there at all fields) and I also saw that miner's address at minerul a bit later, he mined another 1,268,422 BCZ there, and everything from minerul is payed. But now his address shows 14,550,929 BCZ at block explorer, and there were no spends or outgoing transactions... So, I'm a bit puzzled about where are those ~1,903,493 BCZ that are not payed to miner... Has the pool left those coins to themselves as a fee or something like stole the coins? Check yourself t1SVLYBdoqXdcPHGRGpv6dMKm39oDKuKsUz As for me, I use minerul now, and it seem to work fine. Absolutely you are right with that currently its not so good idea to create a new project. Cause old projects are getting down for bad conditions of market. You need to wait for right time.Title: Re: Mining bitzec with cpu/gpu/asic Post by: Bitzec on April 20, 2019, 04:26:07 PM You have chosen a good name for cryptocurrency, but not a good time to launch a new project.
