Title: The Hublot Bitcoin watch has sold out.
Post by: Jet Cash on November 08, 2018, 01:34:47 PM
Hublot has made 210 commemorative watches, and the entre batch has been sold. They were only availble for purchase using Bitcoin, and the purchase transaction code will be engraved on the bezel.

Saw this earler. Pretty fucking cool to have the transaction code engraved isn’t it. Personally I’m not a big fan of Hublot, I want to buy myself a big, fat gold Rolex when we moon.

I’m curious as tot what makes it worth the $25000? I get like its limited edition but that seems quite pricey for a watch.

Am I missing something?

@lfc, get me one too ;D

I think it is a mixture of a few factors. High tech. materials, limited editions, and a fancy movement. There are some tech details about the movement and construction here -

I'm a traditionalist, and I've got a Dunhill chronometer, but they don't seem to use chronometer ratings for watches any more.
