Gregory Maxwell, co-founder and former CTO of the Bitcoin Core (BTC) institution Blockstream, has had a change of heart. For reasons yet unknown, the crypto expert has come to the realization that Bitcoin SV is the real Bitcoin, and has even offered to lend a hand. He penned an email to Dr. Craig Wright of nChain and Bitcoin BCH development, in which he mentioned that he was prepared to offer his “discreet assistance.” Better late than never, it’s good to see that Maxwell has finally come around. Here is his email, formatted to make reading easier.
seems legit
anyone have any info? @gmaxwell?

lol what.  Craig Wright and Roger Ver are both conmen. Coingeek is a conman shilling platform,  and their claim that [I have] "come to the realization that Bitcoin SV is the real Bitcoin," is malicious whole cloth fabrication.  Now, Is "Bitcoin SV" the real fake bitcoin (bch)?  Maybe but who cares.

I think it's unfortunate that Wright's over the top mania is causing dissension in his bamboozled army, as having a scam run by an obvious scammer is a win-win (https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/6ayuz3/craig_s_wright_a_brief_discussion/dhio5q0/)... but it seems that there is nothing to be done for it now, the psychosis is just too strong now.

“The real fake bitcoin…” best quote ever. I suppose the real fake bitcoin would be what miners say it is, even if the chain dies because nobody will buy its token. But yeah, I really don’t care about conmen…although I admit concern over bc.i & stellar announcement…seems so much out of right field.

G. Maxwell, can you join Twitter already. I want to follow your (non technical) posts and thoughts. You can curate your experience (block liberally and follow cautiously) pretty well.

Blockchain.info have always been useless, and are now pretty anti-bitcoin, just like Coinbase and so many others. Anyway, locking the thread soon.

Not for a second have i thought, that they're speaking the truth. After all, lying is why CSW and Coingeeek are still afloat. Come november 15 this shitshow will end, the beautiful irony in this situation is that BCH supporters will finally see how wrong and stupid they were and may finally get back to the good side of history.

Just to be clear, the whole thing is a fabrication, not just that claim, correct? :P

There are only two possibilities for one who understands Bitcoin. He/she either knows how is it supposed to work or is paid/threatened by authorities to make it not to work.

FTFY

They can't make it not work. All they can do is lie, spread FUD, and try to confuse people.
This article is a good example of lies, and listing Bitcoin Cash as Bitcoin, and the real Bitcoin as Bitcoin Core on Roger Ver's site was an example of confusion.
I hope that everybody will hear about coingeek lying, and won't take any of their articles seriously from now on.

You are braver than me to ask this.
The 'email' seemed like gmaxwell's craft, even down to the typos...
