I am new to crypto market, though I have done some reading and trend analysis, I seek your advice and help on what are the major Do's and Dont's when trying to invest?

Please guide me regarding where to invest and how to go about it?

1) my first bit of advice would be to always do your own research instead of just going off of what people say online
2) best things to research about a project is the whitepaper concept, the team, the roadmap, and how far along they are (I'd rather go for a cryptocurrency with a working product like Ethereum, Plutus, Stellar etc. than the ones who only have a whitepaper as they tend to be more legit)
3) trading is not easy, it takes a lot of time which I don't have (crypto comes 2nd to my actual work). I do however have faith in crypto so I prefer to invest and hold long-term
4) Do keep your coins somewhere safe and secure (best option is a cold wallet), centralized exchanges are not liable for anything that goes wrong
5) Don't chase the cryptocurrencies that have just skyrocketed as tempting as it is
6) risk management is the key

I don't know how much you know already but this is just a few that popped into my head, i'm sure the rest of the community will have some better pointers :)

It will be beneficial if you just read there and understand what mostly the higher ranking bitcoiners are saying. Always pay attention and do what mostly the legendary rankers are saying for which they have many experiences here. Also be wary of the posts of those who have red trusts, for which they have been punish (given a red trust) for a reason.

You are correct and that is where emotional maturity helps a trader. Experience too goes along way because these are usually repeated patterns especially when looking at the candles sticks when trading.

my advice is to leave fast before you realise this is a world were 95% of people lose money, and big whales get richer.

Keep a heart of encryption learning. At the same time maintain a good investment mentality. This market can make you gain or lose. Never greed for more. Otherwise, you will lose more.

Great that you have come to the space prepared. There is not much to learn except using old time wisdom such as never investing more than you can lose and not falling for projects that don't make common sense.

If you are really new to crypto world i will not suggest you to invest straight away, just read more and more , know about everything crypto here on this forum and also try to google and youtube if you want to know more about a specific thing or term, then after few weeks of research you can start with small first investment then increase your investment as your confidence grows, this is the best, safe and low risk way to enter this market for new members.

Being newbie in this forum you should gather more data and information about investing or trading so that you start without any worries. Having enough knowledge about it will really help to make more income. Do not try to invest in untrusted website and always check the website. You should choose trusted site when you do investment.

Brother to be very frank no one is tech you in one post and never you can learn in few week.i suggest to you kindly read articles and post regarding crypto market,and kindly watch atleast 20 coins trend on daily basis I hope you learn alot.

Advice that helped me to stop the loss of money, first, always make your investments with your head, not with your heart, that means don't get carried away by fud or fomo, always analyze what is happening in the market and if what happens is a temporary or permanent situation, that will allow you to make the predictions necessary to generate some profit or minimize loss.

1. Continue reading about in Blockchain, Bitcoin, Cypto's, and other things that are related on this one.
2. If you want to start trading, you be prepare or ready for the things what you can afford to loss in or in some
other terms do it at your own risk.

Congratulations and welcome to crypto society , first thing i suggest is that fear when every one is greedy and be greedy when everyone is fearful , Don't follow fake NEWS and never invest money in crypto that you can't afford to lose.

It is completely a very good and exciting experience being a newbie, I have been told many things, the do’s and don’t that I have to follow and if I tell you something very personal then these bitcoin accounts are very sensitive and you have to be precise while writing posts because you will never know when your account will get banned but the most important advice is that never copy and paste your post and write minimum four lines which should be unique and new and just enjoy your safe bitcoining as now you are self dependent and you need not to rely on your parents for very small things.

If you want to strart invest i think BTC and ETH is the best choose for you.
Don't try to start trading before you know about market.

If it is true that you are a beginner in trading, there are a number of things you must do
- Choose an exchange that has more altcoin pairs and high trading volume.
- Try to determine which coin you will trade (do research wisely before doing this)
- Determine whether you will trade daily or long term.
- Make sure you use funds that you are ready to lose (because trading is not as easy as we imagine).

Just want to share a little since most of the responses here have already covered the basic things you must do and avoid. On my part, I would say that you stick to those coins and tokens that have already proven their value over time and please don't get too adventurous and join the shitcoins club (of course if you have the money to burn that would be no problem). And always be careful not to be victimized by scams which is already everywhere in the world of cryptocurrency. There are many opportunities in this industry but just like the Wild Wild West there are also pitfalls that must be avoided by learning from the disasters others already encountered and by always watching your back.         I advise that you first read and learn as much information as possible about the crypto market before investing. The crypto market is full of dangers and you need to learn what details to consider. You need to know that crypto investment does not bring profits the next day, so do not invest the necessary money for your daily expenses. if you want to invest the main thing is do not be tempted by an investment that promises definite profit because it is usually prone to scam, and for parts do not do it if you have funds but the funds are not free / will be used for better purposes don't invest

Depend on you research. DO your own research. Do not rely on reviews even if its a trusted website. No word of mouth can be true but trust on what you have learn and rely on your instinct. If you feel that there is something wrong, then maybe there is and its worth checking. Don't invest if you are having second thoughts.

If you want to invest in an ICO you must do a lot of research, see if the project is legit and promising. But how do I know if a project is legit? First you will do is to search about the project's product, I suggest to find a project that has product. Search about the team if they existing and have good backgrounds, check if the community is good and see if the officials are approachable incase of a problem. :)

Congrats and welcome. So, if I were you, I would to work with such of bounties and make your own basis of cryptocurrency. Then try to trading, investing and other.

Most important is safety. Because here is no reversing of transactions and you are your own bank. So you must be sure that your coins are safely stored. Learning about safety should be your priority.  Beside that you have this and next year to buy your coins. You sort of joined in perfect time. Year 2020 will be to late.

I think right now you shouldn't do trading at least until the market will recover a bit. Read as much as you can and invest in the strongest coin while the prices are still low.

I will welcome to you forum first and foremost and the few advice I will give out is that you don't invest all your money in cryptos, crypto space is a volatile space, so it means that anything can happen, the price can go up or it can go down. Spend more time to study and learn the space before making any investment, that's few advice i will give for now.

P.S Do not invest in shitcoins by the signals

We have different do's and don't as a fellow investor the only do's and don'ts i can give is:

1. DO Invest when the market is down and DON'T Sell at low.
2. DON'T Buy at high price instead DO sell at high price.

This is the most common mistakes of new investors in cryptocurrency market also make sure you do really understand what are the risk in investing to cryptocurrency industry, not because you invest doesn't mean you're going to earn remember that the cryptocurrency market is volatile and there's a high chance that your investment might be at risk.

I suggest in order to familiarize the market and earn experience you should try to invest a small amount of capital or investment and after you've earned some experiences and you think you're ready for a serious investment then enter the market with all the lessons you've learned from your experiences.

About investing in the crypto market, it's better to frequently ask questions or discuss crypto. In my opinion, all who are and are involved in crypto are both in need of one another.
To better understand what needs to be done, I suggest, activating yourself in the forum is more important. Because this forum is very much knowledge that can be taken especially knowledge about cryptocurrency, such as knowledge about bounty, ICO and knowledge of the crypto market.

First you must know that with trading of course you have to buy with low price and sell it higher.. I agreed with you, sometimes people invest there all money in crypto and after some loss they make loan and invest to recover and make more losses,  investment here is totally risky and at this type of investment where chances are there to lose we should never invest our money which we can not afford to loose.

Nevertheless bitcoin will be a good start for a newbie like you, bitcoin well known and the risk rate is minimal compare to unknown altcoins.

Actually when we trade in demo accounts and our main account will be very different. I used this way but it was not really effective because when I entered trading with the main account my emotions and patience were not the same as before and I was always scared at the first stage

My advice is dont be so greedy, observe first before invest and invest gradually. Don't catch falling knife if you are not expert. Buy low sell high. I think you should also learn how to earn free tokens and profits through joining some bounty campaigns and have a part of a project's allocation pool. It might be good if you are not just investing but also creating free and tradable coins out in the market. Do see it as an opportunity.

Also, make sure that you understand this market , a market of full of interesting ideas and greedy person/project. So better to learn some scam works from the past than falling on their trap. For this, you will understand how risk you may possible encounter as a crypto participant.

treat your money carefully.  do not scatter money in those areas in which you do not understand.

my only advise for you right now: stay away this market if you don't want to lose your money, if you want to have happy chrismast and new year.
