Title: Hackers Targets to Steal Bitcoins from Gate.io
Post by: prashadraj205000 on November 10, 2018, 05:36:20 AM
The cryptocurrency  (https://coindelite.com/)space has been a victim of various cryptocurrency hacking, cryptojacking, scams, and more. Recently Cybercriminals hacked StatCounter, one of the largest website traffic analytics platforms. The hackers transferred malicious  (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malicious)code into more than 600,000 websites (https://coindelite.com). The purpose was to gain access to Bitcoin held at the cryptocurrency exchange Gate.io.

Hackers had also tried to hide their tracks by using a various Bitcoin address for each new victim that falls prey to the malware. Users won’t see the change of address until it’s too late, as the malware is designed to trigger after the user clicks on the submit button to transfer funds.

This is very dangerous. Every investor who transfers coins must check their address carefully. I don't want anyone to anticipate these things, although its probability is very small. Gate.io should change the way its coins are transferred. Make coins safer so that more people can use them Gate.io.

Gate.io exchange has a strong cyber security system, i don't think they can be easily hacked. However, it will be more secure if Gate.io store uses money in cold wallet or offline wallet. And as a user you should make your exchange account safer by adding additional security options like 2FA, withdraw email confirmation.
