Title: As of today, what for you is the easiest-to-use cryptocurrency?
Post by: James_Cline on November 11, 2018, 11:40:14 PM
The market is constantly updated with new cryptocurrencies and it’s quite a challenge to keep up with all of them. But of course, a few will stand out from the rest. Came across a few articles about Virie -a new cryptocurrency that’s more than just a virtual currency. Based on the reports, it is a system that highlights a marketplace –a distributed exchange network that enable users to buy and sell currencies, goods, and services without the use of third-party services. This network also provides the opportunity to buy and sell Virie coins directly (no brokerage required). That’s why they claim that it’s the easiest-to-use cryptocurrency. What do you think? It sure sounds promising, as it is also the first open product of the seemingly huge Virternity project.

So what features should we look for in cyrptocurrencies/altcoins?

In essence, the use of cryptocurrencies is only a few countries in a few areas. The influence of cryptocurrency is still weak, and it has at least a decade of growth. For the current cryptocurrency is still like a child, when the capitalists choose it, its role can be reflected.

The crypto market is always changing and keeps evolving. There has been unrest with respect to vulnerability and security. So, any new token/coin must bring with it promising encryption and secured transactions. I haven't heard much about this currency yet, but will look out for it if its secured and also would like to know about other features.

From what I understand, it's a relatively new cryptocurrency exclusive for a project called Virternity and like what you said, it sure looks promising. It does not seem to have a potential of being used or abused by any avaricious company nor organizations because it's not centralized but ain't all cryptos are? Although some of the more famous ones like bitcoin have already some involvements from the governments and other organizations and I think that is the edge of being a new one like this Virie.

Bitcoin. I'm not an alt-coin hater like many bitcoin supporters but none of them are close to bitcoin as of yet. Bitcoin is easy to use for transfers and beyond that it can be used at numerous retailers, both in physical stores and online. I do not know of any alt that can say the same.

So far, it is BTC. Because I am currently using Bitcoin more than other cryptocurrencies. Relative to ETH, sometimes it is very crowded, so I use BTC more to complete the transaction.

The easiest way to use crypto is the payment sector. Blockchain has a huge variety of acceptance among a lot of industries, but the real usage of crypto is now available in only one sector and it is financing.

Well I don't know much about the coin but the question is this; how many people are willing to exchange their goods or services with the coin? that's one big question, before people will use it to buy goods and services, the coin needs to be well known and adopted. As at today I have used cryptos eth and btc to pay for some goods and services because they are popular,

The title of this thread has nothing to do with the paragraph OP wrote (which sounds like a shill promoting a coin), so I'm just gonna answer the main question. Since we're in the altcoin section, I'm gonna go and say XMR has been the easiest coin to make transactions with. It's cheap, it's fast, and a lot of merchants accept it so there's no problem with looking for vendors/merchants accepting something else other than btc.

it has to be bitcoin.
simply because the most important part of being easy to use is to have user friendly and easy to use programs including wallets, payment systems, block explorers, third party services including payment processors,... and bitcoin is the only one that has all of these.

I think that virie coin is a good coin that is usable to the crypto users in terms of payment transaction of goods and services. However,  this is not yet very familiar to crypto users and in most cases,  eth and btc were the primary cryptocurrency being used and patronized by the crypto users since these are the currencies being offered for their services.

if it is the easiest to use cryptocurrency then every big media and article and announcement site should pick them up and promote them because it's going to make it easy for every user, why I haven't heard of it until now, you are the only one who announced it here.

It's relatively new hence we really can't tell yet if indeed it will be the easiest to use cryptocurrency. I had a peak on its website and so far, it appears to be the most convenient to use graphic interface albeit, for the rest of its features, I am yet to experience but it does look promising. We'll see later.

As for features, the most important are practicality and security. You have to be able to use it with peace of mind.

Read the Virie whitepaper a few weeks ago. Can't say they didn't do their homework. If the claims are legit they will have solved quite a few issues in the realm of crypto transactions. (more security, ease of use).

Easiest to use is Bitcoin, because BTC is accepted in a lot of places compared to other coins and there is reputable software & wallets to use and feel safe about it. I sometimes use ETH and DOGE also mainly for withdrawal since they often have lower minimums and lesser fees to withdraw at exchanges :)

Bitcoin is widely adopted and it's available in so many places. i have the same tought with you too. BTC is a complex crypto that wasy to be used by anyone even newbie. Remember in another platform you need to understand about their system. It needs a lot of time for newbie to read more about how to use that platform.

Well it's a good thing the question came with "as of today". The cryptocurrency I find really easy to use is Ethereum and it's alternative cryptocurrencies.

we have to create a feature that can attract many people, a feature that is simple but has great benefits and includes every transaction and can make transactions easier and faster at a low cost.

For me i would say Ethereum , i done use them much , just to send somewhere . I always use Ethereum , easy to acess , easy to send :) Never had problem with stuck transactions for hours like i had with bitcoin once . But overall i think every token/coin is the same to use it :)

Title: Re: As of today, what for you is the easiest-to-use cryptocurrency?

I would say that it mostly depends on the wallet. Other than that though, it can be pretty similar in use even among cryptos using very different underlying technology.

For example, Ethereum and bitcoin, you only need the other person's address to send... But the wallet can make it easier in many ways. For example, exchange wallets may allow users to send via username, which makes things easier for some cases.

There are now comprehensive coins that support decentralized exchanges. I think it's this feature that truly is the future. Once internet infrastructure becomes more accessible (ISPs better hurry), the world will be able to get away from the client-server infrastructure and eliminate the element of trust in transactions as much as possible. I think we need networks able to support the core functions of crypto in a decentralized and trustless manner, transactions.

Once the tech is there, developers would take on making interfaces easier. ;)

Ease of use isn't an urgent concern IMHO. Infrastructure is more important than the interface. One needs teams of mathematicians and programmers, and the other a few man-hours of a UX designer.

BTC and ETH have been in the market for a very long time now. They have endured the most volatile times and established themselves. This is one reason why investors trust these coins. But its not like any new coin can't reach the top and prove itself.
As far as Virie is concerned, the features are thoughtful and innovative but there is very less news about it yet. So we have to wait and see how it comes out to be.

In ICOs, I always look forward towards the product and the price of the coins. In altcoins, I always look forward in the price and how the price move over the months.

There are several cryptocurrencies in the cryptospace , especially altcoins which are more and cheap to get but the most easiest and  used and generally accepted is the Bitcoin, more people use them, after Bitcoin, the next should be Ethereum which is also accepted. A reminder: this is also time to get into the crypto space.

all new projects are promising, but if it looks like a new type of cryptocurrency, in my opinion it still doesn't meet the requirements, indeed its usage is quite simple, but it's still unknown how far the project is developing

All cryptocurrencies are good and they work for the same purposes. They are anonymous (not really all), you can invest in them and you can also use them in making transactions. But if you should insist that I choose one then I’m going with Bitcoin. Bitcoin widely known, and when you mention cryptocurrency, the first thing that comes to people’s mind is Bitcoin and it is worth investing. When it comes to making transactions, it might not be fast, but it’s still good (Bitcoin is fast these days, doesn’t take more than a minute to send and receive).

new crypto will be constantly changing and always popping up. It will be quite difficult finding crypto in an easy to use because all the same. When sure there is appropriate but will continue popping up others so this will make the shift and turn between the coins that appear and which will die. but that is clearly to be used then the coins among the already established are good to be used as an option.

It does sound promising. I have also heard about it having those features and if that is true, it will cut down the cost for at least 20 to 25% if my computation is right. That alone is already a good point to ponder but is it already out in the market?

If platforms such as Ebay, Amazon begin to use crypto money, then we can talk about a convenience. Or local developments will not be very useful to us.

Bitcoin and ethereum are the most popular coins in the market so for me it is the easiest to use especially in paying even online stores. It is the easiest coin that could get to earn from campaigns where do not need to buy it on exchange.

Still bitcoin because it is so common. The point of easiest to use is to have something to use on, that could be sending to someone else or that could be spending it to get something new and all that however no matter what you decide to do there is no point of how easy it is if you cant use it.

For example, nano is a coin that is incredibly fast, I mean literally instant type of fast but there is no one that takes nano as a payment option so it makes no sense to use it.

I like ethereum and metatask as well, it gives me option to just two click buy anything I want and a great chrome extension but I still find it a bit less common than bitcoin. It is catching up tough, it is coming there soon. Bitcoin on the other hand, even with all the slowness and time spending and what not, is BEST in my opinion, because we can use it almost everywhere and almost everyone accepts it. I love it.

We have a lot of platforms that offer a lot of features. It's not the main problem in the crypto right now. bitcoin is the easiest crypto to be used by everyone. As you can see about how it was become an interesting thing to see that because so many scalability platforms are useless.

Cryptocurrency is not ready to be used in our daily life. We still need time for its development and governments build up a suitable law for it. Money laundering is the biggest problem of cryptocurrency now, if we can solve this, i think cryptocurrency will be more accepted.
