It's noot caused by bitcoincash and it's a usual thing when you can try to see the latest chart of crypto and after the big bubble and there will be another huge dump too and this will be recover in a year after the dump year. It will probably on 2019. We will see bitcoin search its stable value. this time there was a possibility for that gets down even more.

Yes, i am also think that a lot of people decide to take part in fork of Bitcoin Cash and they sell their BTC to take part in it. Not strange that BTC price falls. But i am think that it will raise againe after fork will be finished.

From the looks of it, there was a liquidation of 12bn of $ in bitcoin, that together with the announcement of a fork of bch has brought a little fud in the market, that's why the price is going down so much, and if you need advice? buy, it's a good discount and I don't think it will last in that price for a long time, so take advantage and buy.

At the end of last year also something same like this happened that before the start of the bull run market gone down like this and all the Altcoins and Bitcoin gone down after that the bull run started and bitcoin hit the all time high of 20 Thousand Dollars. According to some experts, the recent decline is attributed to the anticipation of hard fork on bitcoin cash that will result to two version of bitcoin cash. Investors are momentarily waiting for the end result and see what might happen.

Today’s tough BCH fork cannot be the cause of yesterday’s fall of Bitcoin and another cryptocurrency. Look, BCH itself fell 16 percent, even more than bitcoin. Since recently, many began to write about the fact that the price of Bitcoin has become stable, he decided to prove that he is the same unpredictable Bitcoin.

I think two versions of bitcoin cash will compete to become the dominant chain, and some diggers will move from bitcoin to bitcoin cash to get support for either version. This may be the cause.

There's no statement that came out that this is the reason for rejection. And aren't those ETF proposals are being reviewed until now? forget them anyway there's Bakkt's launching on December 12 which is better to rely on that the always rejected bitcoin ETF proposals.

I think you overvalue Bitcoin Cash for cryptomarket, almost any big news influences market capitalization, espessially bcash fork - everyone doesn't pay attention  to this news. Market is very manipulaitive and if whales decide to drop the price they will do it and news isn't important.

We have all seen a downward trend in the past three days which I believe was never expected to be this bad. Even if people were to sell of their holdings due to the bitcoin cash forking, the whole market was not suppose to be this totally red. I think someone else has to give a better explanation for this in case I have missed something here.

Hopefully this downtrend would stop and hopefully we could see some uptrend soon. The market has given us a chance to invest because they are all cheap right now. With or without bullrun , this a great opportunity to invest. The market with always have it's ups and downs so don't panic.

The cryptocurrency market is indeed all red due to the splitting of bitcoin cash into two. Most people wants to ensure they hold the new coins which was what caused massive sell offs in the cryptocurrency market.

Just saying, well known forks can actually affect the price of the markets. People might start trading their coins for lets say BCH, so that they can take advantage of those forks and get some free coins. This a result will cause the price of the coins that are being traded to get dumped and fall temporarily. But, once when the fork is over, they sell off their forked coins and starts investing back to the coins they had, but this time they buy it cheaper.

Bad will turn into good soon. The market hasn't been too good for everyone and we are sharing the same grief, long term holder or short term. This is not new for everyone but it still gives that feel that we need to flee this market for awhile. The whole world's market is starting to shake and its not cryptocurrency so there's a connection to all of them. If crypto will start into bull run soon, you'll see other markets as going to be a healthy market again.

You are saying that we will be experiencing a great change on 2019. So how did you come to this conclusion? I mean, based on what facts are you saying that drastic changes will take place? Just a random will guess I assume since we didn't not see anything special happening this year. Well, sadly this might not happen (or may) since this is the crypto market. Everything is unpredictable. And price stability is something we might not be seeing anytime soon. Remember, the price depends on the demand and supply. Demand is unlimited (assuming every people born will be using crypto currencies) but the supply is limited (not all though).

The market is obviously influenced by the hard forks of BCH. Some say that the current market downturn is preparing for the upcoming bull market. But I don't think so. I think the price of BTC will go up again. But I don't think bull market will come. It will take a while. But not this year. According to the previous cycle, it often takes 2-3 years for the bull market to come. So let's wait until the end of the year to see what will happen.

I think right now people being afraid with the cryptocurrency because bitcoin price is down deeper and many people have sold their bitcoin and took their money's back. But I don't think that people will leave bitcoin because I know that there still many of them that want to buy bitcoin at a low price and now they are waiting for a good moment to buy bitcoin. I guess that soon we will see the bottom price of bitcoin and this will makes many people trying to place their order buy and then they will hold until the price increase higher again.

It still falling down guys, it was 4300 already and it scares me a lot. A lot of predictions that I hear right now says: bottom can be near 1000-1500 and slowly will go up then, however I hope it wrong and price will stop near 4000$ or 4500$, imho it's just make no sense fall under 4000$.

I also think the same thing as you, I think this is the impact of the BCH hard fork and I believe the decline in crypto in the stock market will not last long and changes in the exchange will slowly begin to increase at the beginning of the year.

Top 2 possible reason for Crypto market cash are as follows
1) Bitcoincash Hardfork :- May be lot of investors sold their BTC to accumulate with BCH to take advantage of the hardfork
2) Recent Action Of SEC :- There has been several action came into news about SEC taking action of Decentralised Exchanges & The recent case of two established ICOs Paragoncoin and airtoken penalized by SEC. This may be the main reason to bring huge negativity in the market.

What is happening in the crypto markets? Nobody can exactly say what is going on. We see everyday Bitcoin and Altcoins price are falling, falling and falling. Nothing can stop falling price. Everycoin is losing its market capital and ETH has lost its 2nd position. It is an alarming for ETH holders.

There is nothing wrong with this present trend in the crypto space. Bitcoin prices are moving wildly this week. Much negative news related to the regulation of bitcoin. I think that someone had insider information about the postponements of bakkt. because the fall of cryptocurrency began long before this news. 4 hours before the news, Bitcoin updated its minimum.

The dip continues at first it was as per hashrate war but now, no one knows what really is driving the market to its decline. Anywhere I turn I hear 3k zone is the best so the Bull run can start again until we hit 3k before I know what to say.

The best explanation that satisfy me on the current happening in the market is becuase of Bitcoin Cash Fork which has cause the market to bleed for the past week and make all coins to fall.

The market always alternate with bear and bull markets and in between these seasons can be recovery stage and resistant stage. I could say in this third quarter of 2019 the market is looking good compared in previous year, the market capitalization has been increasing so far and that is been good news for me and i do not know where that money comes from.

For.those who had been here from 2011 to 2016/would attests to the fact that, hold was the right option for those who where holding at that time. Crypto market is totally down because of the situation at hand, many projects had scammed investors through ICO and IEO so the fear of investing is there and there's no trust in the market anymore. The more there's investors the more market moves but when there's no investors it goes down.

For me personally when seeing the market is not in a good situation it is better not to be too rushed in making a decision and not too greedy to buy more coins because the price is declining. The answer is cut loss or keep buying use martiangle money management. Cut loss is simple answer to avoid bigger lost and try another coin to create money. Keep buying is similar like staking/ investment but make sure you already have analyze and choose the right coin. You are right in a bear market we have grabbed the top valued coins in the market, as of now, these coin prices are lowest in the market. The last quarter of the year is often the time when people are being so expensive because of the holiday season. Many did sold their crypto for fiat because there are more market for fiat than crypto right now. The price of every altcoin in the market is really dependent on the price of the bitcoin. Meaning, if the price of bitcoin goes down, the price of some altcoin will probably gonna go down also. It is domino effect. That is why the market is now on red since the price of bitcoin is going down.

Almost all of the altcoins in the market are still depends on the value of bitcoin. Thats why we can see that the bitcoin dominance is as high as 50percent, so if BTC dumped then expect the altcoins to bleed as well. Thats the logic for now, but who knows maybe we can see the bitcoin dominance will decrease this year.

As of the moment if you will see and observe, the crypto market is doing good all throughout having a good start for this year 2020. The prices have already been seen to showcase an increase from the down fall that it have experienced way back after the bull run that lasted until the late month of year 2019. As I can see, the crypto market behavior is pretty good compared to the last two because at this early stage of this year, an unexpected increase happened which is the real expectation of the crowd would happen right after the halving event.
