Recent Coingecko's report shows that infrastructure coins are no longer dominate the market of new coins/token being launched in Q3 2018. So what is your idea on the types of coin will dominate the market in Q4 2018 and the year of 2019?

Bitcoin will still dominate the whole year up to next years.

You see on how it dominated this dip and all of these coins just go with the flow of bitcoin. I can't think of any other coin that will pump and dominate the market in the future. Right now, we can't decide and choose for another coin since the market is still on bleeding phase.

It doesn't seem there is any other coin can dominate the market so far. Bitcoin is still dominating the whole market although its price is getting down. But there is no coin has been found till now which can remove bitcoin for dominating the market upcoming next year but what is going to happen next day we never know so keep watching.

Candidly speaking, there are more potential coins that will assume the position of Bitcoin dominance in the year 2019, this is a fact. The ongoing bear market was as a result of crash between the man and the master which we don't know who will win, so, if BCH Hard fork wins then another coin will lead outside Bitcoin. Just my personal opinion.

privacy and payment oriented coins will slowly overtake BTC dominance..
Early-comer advantage will slowly dissappear, as crypto will become massly adopted..
Now one needs BTC`s name, just to get interested in crypto..

this market? only pumpable coins. in other words a coin with a very experienced pumping team as its developers who know how to advertise their coin and how to manipulate the market. having some behind the curtain contract with exchanges will also help a lot. and the bigger they pump their shitcoin the more dominating it will become.

in a real market or when in a couple of years people stopped throwing away their money in shitcoins? in that case only a proper coin that has actual use cases.

I think that all the expectations that existed this year have already begun to melt and now you can no longer hope that these changes will ever happen at all, because I understand that the market is becoming dead at all.

in my opinion, gaming project and a cryptocurrencies focused on privacy will dominate the market in the next year my friend

This is true only if Bitcoin doesn't integrate the privacy features that they plan on introducing (see Dandelion, zk-SNARK etc). But I think they will, so they will be able to dominate the market for the foreseeable future.

Right now no one knows for sure what the next action will be because the forces behind the fall in market is not something to scratch from the surface. there is more to it than our eyes can see

I think coins have a concept of a security system or about health that might be popular. because according to the report I read some time ago a project with a concept like this has a higher success rate, compared to other projects.

although the project with this concept is still quite rare but in my opinion this is where the level of uniqueness.

IMO Bitcoin will still be the king of the Jungle(crypto) and moreover its a very liquid asset.
XRP is a one of the altcoins that will dominate this market for a very long time unless things go south. This asset will break the barrier of cross border money transfers between banks in a faster and cheaper way.
Very bullish on exchange tokens and also blockchain game token.

Probably still infrastructure coins (blockchain protocols), there have been many projects associated with this in 2017. But lastly I heard that security tokens (coins) are coming into the spotlight in the future. Maybe there is something going on with that.

I personally think the types of coins that will dominate the market are the coins that actually solve real life problems, coins that have good use cases. Projects that have a real company and are looking to integrate with the blockchain technology.

Strong protocols (in tech case), Tokens with working product/products and usability, P2P cryptocurrencies, maybe deflationary currencies (but only after Q1 of 2019 or so.

I think soon we are going to see the trend for security tokens that will share the profit with investors and token holders, everyone likes easy stream of passive income so equity or shares type tokens alongwith arbitrage, algorithmic trading and other profitable projects can gain more interest.

STO's will probably become the next hype and it is firing up as we speak. I understand the thought process behind it. Tokenizing securities is a good next step and maybe it allows crypto to keep growing as it is this way.

It's hard for other coins to fight with Bitcoin. But I don't think it's really important what types of coins or which coin dominate more or lower the market. Many low market-cap coin also give good profit over the Bitcoin.  ;)

People have different needs so different cryptos fit better in their cases, I see 4 types of categories coins in the future.

-The fast coins
example: Ripple

-The cheap coins
example: Dogecoin

-The privacy coins
example: Horizen

- The SoV coins (store of value)
example: Bitcoin

In my opinion, there are many pennies in the market today. But the currencies that can dominate the market today are BTC, ETH, NEO, EOS, LTC ... The market will accept the dominance of good value, high technology, fast speed and excellent liquidity ...

I think the stake coins and masternode coins will have a big chance of going higher in the list and maybe even if not dominate the market they will have a lot of interest for them. Of course masternodes and stakes all depend on their prices staying higher as well, when a coin you buy gives you 5%-10% interest a year and drops 20% in a week there is literally no point of getting that coin. Of course there are still coins like ethereum and neo which means the importance of blockchain is still quite important.

Ethereum managed to get all kinds of people interested in their stuff, from cryptokitties like blockchain games to ICO's getting their tokens distributed to companies who do insurance or whatever. Everyone loves the blockchain of ethereum and now neo, so they might dominate as well.

I think that coins that bring us reliable applications and good use can be the focus of the market, rather than relying on plagiarism and false information!

I think bitcoin still dominate in the crypto market although the price is down too deep and now the price down for more. The bitcoin price will rise again, and I am sure that the price will be back to the higher price like before. The other coin can follow bitcoin at the market, but they cannot compete with bitcoin because they don't have more power to do that. So bitcoin still the king and the altcoin will support bitcoin domination in the cryptocurrency. I don't think that the new coin can dominate the crypto market because they don't have the history before and besides that, they need to compete with the other coins which already has the history.

I have the same thoughts, I don’t see other coins dominating crypto market other than Bitcoin. Bitcoin’s community is very huge, and the support is very strong. For other coins to dominate crypto market, it takes years and efforts to do so.

And most likely the most innovative, best in transaction speed.

i think true and strong utility tokens with daily use on many platforms can dominate in the future

only a project that has some unique ideas that are also implemented efficiently and without bugs can survive in this market in the long run and become dominant in it. otherwise most projects have awesome ideas (ethereum for example) but they fail hard at implementing them and end up as a shitcoin and fail to survive in this market.

So far from what I have observed I think it is going to be the coins that offer the most privacy are the ones that are going to get the most investors since people are always trying to avoid having their transactions open to the public. Also coins like bitcoin and ethereum that have already garnered a huge amount of support are going to end up doing very well

One of the things i like about the crypto industry now is the variation at the top. If you look at the charts of coinmarketcap the top ten coins are finance coins, privacy coins, platform based coins, and forks. Hopefully it will remain that way

I think that now I will be popular coins that make sense such as EOS or eth

I think: bitcoin, Ethereum, NEO, XLM. All these coins have a future and prospects for development. In 2019, I think bitcoin will dominate.

I believe that it's going to be an algorithmic based stable coin one that isn't tied directly to fiat. Ampleforth's elastic supply policy is pretty intersting and somethign we havne't seen yet

Of course, BTC. I do not think that much will change in 2019. But for several years, the most frequently used coins are likely to be leaders. And tokens. Since most tokens are on etherium, this one can be the first.

I hope for coins of privacy and let it sound like a fantasy. But for me they brought more profit than promising coins with slow development.

I think that in 2019 nothing will change much. On the contrary, everything will recover and only in 2020 will growth begin. And at the expense of the dominance, I am for Bitcoin, he has always been and will be on top.

I think bitcoin will always dominate the entire market in the future, I see the increase in bitcoin starting to move back even though slowly and almost all altcoins tend to increase because the price of bitcoin rises. so it's very difficult for altcoins to match the value of bitcoin coins.

It's still too early to say which kinds of coin will dominate the market, but in my opinion, anonymous coins and exchange coins will hot in a few next years

Bitcoin, Ethereum, NEO, Monero, Stratis among will be the future bosses of the market, it is inevitable. Cryptocurrency is growing speedily by the day

Bitcoin has been the giant of the entire cryptocurrency all through this past years and at that before any other coin will out write that profile, but the new security tokens if they turn out to be successful will do well in the market and will act independently from bitcoin market because all this other altcoins depends of bitcoin for their price movement.
