Binance CEO ZHAO Changpeng is responding to calls from Ripple and XRP supporters to add XRP to the leading cryptocurrency exchange as a base pair.
 On Twitter, ZHAO noted the strength of the XRP community, and asked its brethren to send him their best pitches for why he should pair every coin on the exchange with the digital asset.

inappropriate requests and this will trigger another request for altcoin to appear as a pair for every coin. shitcoin/BTC shitcoin/ETH shitcoin/LTC shitcoin/USD shitcoin/EUR like that, because every supporter will insist on making the coin as a pairing  :D :o

Lol that's true. Because they are wanna see that to happen. This is not my first time to see that and i remember when bitcoin cash supporters were doing the same thing and it has already delisted from binance all of bch pair has been removed. Honestly, we just only need btc and stable coin pair.

XRP being a pair does make sense actually since the market capitalization has far surpassed ETH it's up about 3 billion dollars and I hardly think that ETH could surpass it very soon simply because the market of ETH is just too weak, it's just the CEO of binance is testing whether the huge community of XRP will request XRP to be a pair in binance, speaking of business perspective it will potentially bring new client aswell

The market value of XRP has risen to second. So he is sure to say so. Let XRP bring more attention and traffic to Binance exchange.

Why anyone will consider putting a 100% centralized coin which a lot of people not even consider it Cryptocurrency as a pair currency on a Cryptocurrency exchange! To be honest that would be really dumb to even consider it in the first place.

I think it is definitely the best course of action for a CEO to add XRP. You may not believe in the product but as long as it would make you profit that's all you should care. Now I think there are two possibilities here.

Either the Ripple company declined to pay Binance money to be listed on their exchange citing they are already greatly big and their trading fee's would be big enough to add it anyway. Or binance ceo has a fundamental problem with ripple people and xrp coin and he declines adding it for a principal reason for himself.

No matter what for a company that makes money from crypto currency trading and the fee's tied to it I think it would be wise decision to add XRP. That way they can make a lot of profit from the fee's and withdrawals and such, they can still keep on not liking it.

I feel like the CEO is doing a publicity stunt.
A company like Binance has access to all the data in the world, why would they need a bunch of nobodies to pitch him something?
I guess you can call it transparency or crowdsourcing, but I personally think the actual data they have from their own exchange is more reliable than the opinion of a bunch of strangers.

I personally would not like to see xrp have trading pairs.
There's a solid reason why btc, eth, and to a small extent ltc has had trading pairs.
the main reason is that they are legitimate and have stood the test of time.
Ripple, no matter how valued it is, is a company that goes against the fundamentals of crypto.
I would not like to see such things gain more strength and momentum in the crypto world.
