Title: "Kremlin victory" over Interpol
Post by: Palau2018 on November 19, 2018, 05:04:03 PM
Russian official Alexander Prokopchuk is set to become the next head of Interpol, in what The Times calls a "significant victory for the Kremlin.

UK officials say that Prokopchuk - one of two confirmed candidates for the top job at Interpol:

Quote
Mr Prokopchuk is one of four Interpol vice-presidents after being nominated by Russia two years ago. He has had a long career at the interior ministry and was given the rank of major-general of police in 2011. -The Times

What do you guys think about it? Will Mowcow use the international policing agency to target political opponents or not?

Why is it that none of you cared when China installed its own person as Interpol president, then proceeded to kidnap, and likely kill him WHILE HE WAS STILL THE SITTING PRESIDENT?

China knows they can do whatever they want, they arrested the head of interpol for """bribery""" without telling anyone

Interpol is dead as an effective international organization. A great victory for criminals and dictators.

I agree, looks like Interpol is useless.
Such a shame, to waste such a great idea

How can this be?  Doesn’t the rest of the world understand that international security is at huge risk?  Was there no one else? This is horrendous.

Interpol under total control of KGB-FSB ? It will be disaster for all world democracy and a victory for the Kremlin mafia.
