I will let you go with faketoshi. As a part of early holders and i'm not worrying about this. So many times people called crypto will be dead and then what was happening? crypto always break a new ATH after its big bearish trend that brought crypto to the bottom. So, why you still here?

What do you hope in cryptocurrency? It has been 10 years here, cryptocurrency is still alive and continuously developing. In the past there were many worse times, bitcoin price was divided 8 times in 2014, but after that it climbed up to $20k. It's not the end, it takes a rest  ;D

We may not have experienced too many market changes, because when we saw Bitcoin, its price was already $18,000, but those who used Bitcoin in the past would not leave him! Because they know that the current bitcoin price is still high!

Well, not a complete end, but close to it. Only one indicator is interesting, the total market capitalization. And for the rest, I have no doubt that only the fittest coins will remain, the rest means they were a trap for investors.

I don't think it's over, not now. Of course, now everything is unstable in the crypto-currency market, and because of this, many panic, but this is not the end. And I'm more than sure you'll regret leaving now.

Maybe for some people who over leveraged their investments in cryptocurrency but the vast majority of people who invested are not dependent on short term crypto performance to put food on the table. I think you should be leaving out of the cryptocurrency market. Because the bitcointalk forum doesn't want to the people, who disheartened. We can see that the cryptocurrency market would be still alive from 2013 to now, and I think this market will improve about rates in the next year.

This type of posts is not expectable from you dude, as you earned a good amount of merit by making good quality threads/replies. This is not the end, this year remove all of FUDDERS from the crypto market! Who are still active and supporting the crypto platform they are the real supporters and at the end, they will benefit for sure. Don't panic mate, the crypto market goes down within a week, it can go up within a day! So, keep supporting and spread only good words.

Bitcoin still alive since 2012 till now. I don't think it is the end. But this sharp drop is really bad for investors. I still have confidence that the market will grow again but not as strong and fast as the end of last year and earlier this year.

 At this points I think that it depends on the governments, institutions and technology adoption by the public. It is definetly not a end. That is normal thing in crypto. Bitcoin can not go from there directly 500 k dollar. Because of that we have to live some cycles.
In 3 years btc can hit 100 k dollar and drop to 15 k dollar and 500 k dollar in 2030 for example. So because of that we have to understand that this is opportunity not the end.

I do not agree. Hope is always there as long as we believe it. All possibilities can still occur, the time is still long. There's still a month left before this year ends. Funny how people are panicking and thinking this is the end of cryptocurrency. When the bulls and upward trends were in full swing, everyone was happy and calling crypto the next biggest thing. People should understand that these dips will definitely happen and corrections are bound to happen in a highly manipulative market. I believe that there's still hope. Indeed, no one have expected the market to be as bad as this but that's its nature. Cryptos are naturally volatile and consistency is lacking. From being at its peak last year, it is now at its deepest. Huge profit loss is observable at this moment and many people have chosen to quit and sold their tokens early. I'd say we should still be patient even if things are not going as expected. Bullrun will just pop up in a sudden and we should not miss it.

Wow, don't draw conclusions too fast. Bitcoin price changes are not instant. To achieve a fantastic price like 2017 lasted almost a decade. This is part of the cycle, be patient and keep watching by doing chart analysis.

I agree I have not seen crypto being hyped in a while. In fact, we all experienced a lot of negativity and massive hits have been taken by many coins, as such it makes me wonder if this is yet?

For you I think. Blockchain is just getting started. Since you don't want to participate again, just sell off your holdings and move on with your life.  As for me, I will keep learning and equipping myself as there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Last year, when we saw a  parabolic growth on the market and nobody was complaining  (for example ETH  increased from $9 to $1.4k in 2017  etc)
.Many of those who invested on that hype  lost /losing  their faith in crypto and crying as they did not become millionaires over night.
Crypto is a long run and not everybody can wait for long and stay calm and patient.

Those who were in crypto from the start remember BTC crashing form $1800 to $200 and from $30 to $2  and we are still here.
These are normal market cycles and we are in one of them called capitulation.
Just to add that the total market value today is $150 billion and we are still 13% up vs September last year.

Anyway, my one cent opinion on the market activity we have now, its really difficult for everyone to make such speculation, crypto still facing a lot of issues, plus the negative news which contribute to the drops on the price value of almost all crypto and ALT coins as posted on the market, Be more Patient and wait for market recovery soon...

So many thoughts were made about a fall of the market, a lot of emotions and lack of hope. But crypto is like a business theirs a time that they experience a up and down situation, but they find a solution divert their strategy to coup up and recover. Waiting is the best way to do right now be positive ones.

Lot of people just give up about current situation, they better to exit from market and doing some real work. Its always make "nature selection" to choose who will be last man standing. For they who still believe in crypto, they jist hold and maybe buy more for long term investment.

Just take a look for 2015 , happened same thing . Fell down from 1k range to 200$ range . The ones who was holding for 2 years made it back , the ones who sold probably quit =D Remember invest only what you can afford to lose so you don't need to sell to pay bills and other stuff and enjoy life ;)

There's always hope. I am not surprised that many have lost it now. I saw people crying when Bitcoin fell 30%.

It is always very funny when you see topics like this popping up when there is a huge downtrend, as people keep claiming a doomsday scenario just because of a downtrend market. Let's see how far that would take them in the long run when they have finally missed out from buying into the market early at the dips. Still, it is understandable to see that people will always have this kind of mentality anyway, based on the fact that all they basically think about is how to get quick wealth and not what is in store for the future.

Now, when the market has slowed, prices dropped, somehow it is translated as death. That is not. Basically, the revenue is low or close to zero, but that is not the end. Stop panicking, patience will be rewarded.

Every time when BTC falls, People come and say it's "the end" but what happens? BTC goes to new all time high. Look at the price history, Bitcoin falls -90% three times but then came back strongly breaking previous highs and this is going to happen again.  

Hope is always there we only neexvto believe and have more faith on it. If we wanted to earn on crypto we really need to have a big patience specially when the price is dropping because we all know that the crypto is really decentralized and no one can control the price or risk that is in it. So let's hold because crypto is really unstable and we can really earn on it soon.

If you don't believe anymore in crypto then you can go and nobody will miss you  ;D ;D. This is what crypto is all about, volatility cause anxiety and opportunity to people so we have to be prepared for this situation.

I think it is time for us to consider our options. Know if crypto is still for us and make sure to anticipate the worst case scenario (even worst than worst). Know the pros and cons of staying or leaving. I believe a lot of people will opt to hodl since the coin they were hodling will not be worth as much. It is too late to sell now and it is better to just walkaway or take a break from crypto for now and HODL. Selling will just cost more losses. We have lost so much already. This is nothing.

I don't know why everybody is just panicking and saying different things. It seems I am the only one that is relaxed in this market situations. I think everything is just normal because we had a bull run 13 months ago, there is bound to be market correction after that, which is what is happening presently, expecting a bull run now is too early except if we get bakkt or ETF.

Don't be so negative about the cryptocurrency, in every market we can see the ups and downs and market situation can't be the same. Things we have to remember when the marker is upward we have to exit and when the market is in a downtrend we have to grab as many coins as possible.
