The power of $6.8

In mid 2017 to early 2018, a lot of persons were complaining about how high the bitcoin price is, that it too late for them for join the race, now price is declining and people are still complaining!

Let me tell you a story

Back then in college (2014) I was so poor, and yet I know about bitcoin, but I was facing financial challenges, so I could not invest in bitcoin, even when I don't have any bitcoin to trade, I was always in the market!

A day came when my kid brother sent me some money worth approximately $9, from the $9, I invested $6.8 invested into  bitcoin, during this period, the bitcoin price declined from $700-$200+!
I started trading cryptocurrency with $6.8 with some satoshis I accumulated from faucets.
Today, the $6.8 i invested in bitcoin has given me a new life and a new house of my own.

Don't complain about the current market price, there's nothing you or anyone can do about it, utilize the benefits around it, people are making thousands if not millions of dollars from this bloodbath.

I agree, the current realities create tremendous opportunities for making money on cryptocurrencies. If you look at the trends of the CoinMarketCap, you can immediately see that there are altcoins that were not affected by the fall, but there are those that continue to grow. Any person engaged in trading cryptocurrency should always have a plan in case of an emergency price drop of an asset. For me, the best solution is to bring crypto assets out to fiat money.

Don't lie to people , you did not make that much from $6.8 bucks.

Even if you purchased at a low of $200 and sold at $20000 peak, that is only 100X the original amount.

Meaning your profit was less than $700.

That won't even buy you a decent hooker, much less a house or new life.  :P

I am agree with you, How many people were claiming when it touched the 18000$??? I started my journey of BTC or crypto currency with zero investment. I just participated in bounty campaigns and earned something. After sometime I managed to buy a car just by the money earned from crypto field. I know many people in my contact who are just using localbitcoins.com and they are earning smart amount of money. BTC has changed life of so many people around the world. Now people should understand that it happens with crypto currency.

I'm a full time trader, beside my initial investment of $6.8, from year 2014-2015 you can easy make over 100k satoshi in just a day!
With $10k-12k USD, in my country you will get a good house for yourself.

Totally agree, Being greedy when others are fearful and being fearful when others are greedy. Every upside is an opportunity it depends on the people how they will utilize it.

i have been trading too and i have to say if someone understand how the market works and stop bag holding altcoins they can make a decent amount of money.
i personally stick to trading altcoins since i have zero faith in them and that eliminates my emotions. and also because they are pump and dumps! and then convert the profit to bitcoin and hold that as the long term real investment.
i have to say my financial situation has improved a lot because of it.

Mostly the people who complain are the ones who are expectant and think that simply investing money will reward them with everything they ever wished for, the people who understand that you have to work hard and make the most of what you've got aren't sitting around complaining, they're getting on with things, safe in the knowledge that whatever the market conditions are there will always be opportunity.

$ 6.8 is a very small amount, but if you invest in the year you mentioned and sell it fully in early 2017 where a bitcoin surge has reached $ 20k then that makes sense if you get $ 10k, you are among the lucky ones

bitcoin is valuable, and many people want to collect it, but not for people who are afraid of invest, don't buy bitcoin. I think why bitcoin falls very deep, because bitcoin will fly high and very high soon.. I always believe  ;)

There is a greater opportunities in crypto bloodbath.As you can see,the price of  many altcoins are very  low and  if you buy the altcoins that have liquidity on the market,you will make huge profit.
However,if you buy bitcoin now it is cheap there is a possibility you will make huge profit on bitcoin once the price moves up.Some people are runing away from bloodbath, but that is the best time to fill your bags with potential coins.In severe bloodbath, every chart is oversold especially in long time frame chart ,and that is also an opportunity for a trader with bird eye view to pick coins that will give him more profit.
On the other hand,bloodbath helps people that can't affort to buy greater units of tokens to buy as much they can.
One can also long bitcoin using 20% leverage ,when bitcoin is subjected to bloodbath,and this could happen if you can find the exact price level bitcoin find support.

the bloodbath we see in the current market means it is time to buy. buy now and hold so when things become stable and price rises, you make good profit.

It's not as simple as it looks. You could buy btc right now thinking that you're buying at the lowest price you're gonna see this year, thing is that no one knows what the bottom is, prices could go further down any minute meaning that you bought way too early and you won't be able to maximize profits in the long-term. It's a hard choice you have to make, buy now but miss out any possible drops to buy cheaper, or wait a bit more even though the prices could go up...it's not that easy, especially for the average joe.

For real, bitcoin has touched life. Those who know what to do with bitcoin have gained a lot. It is not a thing to doubt.

To be honest, I do not quite understand the moral of your post. You just got lucky in your time, that's all. Well, that's my opinion. Now the market situation really resembles a bloodbath. But the situation is that now big business is destroying individual investors. Those. Now it’s just that the big players are manipulating the market to destroy people like you in the past. It could indeed be a big opportunity but it couls also NOT be the bottom, if you are comparing the crash percentages in past, btc could very well go even lower and i would not have the strong hand to hold if it would go even lower.

Your story really motivates me, trading has always been a solution to make our lives better, but trading also has a big risk.

A major opportunity I see in this blood bath which I have always been taught right from the time I got into learning the cryptocurrency market is to buy more whenever you experience a dip. But the threat now is what happens when there isn't sufficient funds to continue buying into the dip?

I think for majority of us, started really small try to learn the tricks of trading crypto, some losses along the way bu we learn and we evolved and we can claim that it really help us a lot financially. It gives us more freedom, more financial power and our lives improved and thanks to crypto.

So let this be a good motivation for all newbies out there, yes its a long road ahead because of the worsening market conditions. But it doesn't mean you stop accumulating today. You can just start with small portions and in no time you wouldn't notice that you have 1BTC in your wallet.

Opportunities are available in the market to fulfill your dreams ,now it is up to us, how, we can avail and trade on.

i started from faucets too! it is so silly now that i think about it since it was a waste of time. my first ever bitcoin that i received was about 11k satoshi worth less than $0.05! i continued accumulating through different jobs. micro payments at first then bigger and i then started trading. slowly at first to learn things. i remember trading on Cex.io because by that time (2014ish) they didn't have any minimum trade size and i was trading with 1-10 Doge at a time because i had so little money and i didn't want to risk at all. price was somewhere around 70 satoshi IIRC. and that was the beginning of my trading journey and i continued trying to increase my experience and understanding of the altcoin pump and dump market for better profit.

I try to draw conclusions from your story, that in reality if we only complain about the situation, it will produce nothing but if we want to try it will certainly have a lesson, and that is true, you must control your investment if you are unable to wait and be patient

Current situation in the cryptocurrency market is very useful for obtaining new knowledge and allows us to look at the blockchain technology, financial market and cryptocurrency from a different point of view. Nothing gives more development and lessons than failure. It is necessary to use the current problems for the benefit, acquiring new knowledge.

I agreed every day is a new opportunity in cryptocurrency world ,this bloodbath is not a very bad idea like everyone is thinking it is,its a very good opportunity for us to invest in even pricey coins and tokens out there due to the bloodbath ,the earlier the better ,I have no regrets buy at costly price too but right now I will keep buying so as to fulfill my dreams

In reality, it is not the market condition that will determine the fate or success of each individual. It is the mindset that we have which will determine if we will succeed no matter what condition the market is in. It is the ability to see opportunities in negative situations and taking advantage of them. Many of us could not think outside the box. We tend to get isolated in situations we could not contain and refuse to do anything about it. It's laziness in the head! So we should think straight and don't let this crash burry us in despair!

In our lives, there are good days and also bad days. This is the same for cryptocurrencies. There are many opportunities all of the days. we should use them.
Noe the market is falling. But we can be positive. One year ago, there were many posts in this forum, saying that it is late to invest in bitcoin. That time only a few people could buy 1 bitcoin.
Now there are many people that couldn't afford to buy one year ago but they can afford it now.

in 2014, BTC prices were only hundreds of dollars. we never thinking about price of BTC  increase to $ 20K. this is amazing. very lucky people who have a lot of assets from 2010.

and for you, me, and some people who are late only get regrets, so, I agree with you, that trading has a solution for creating and utilizing profits today.

It doesn't matter whether this story is true or not, but certainly many people have succeeded through the cypto industry, especially bitcoin. this story can at least be a motivation and provide new hope for the crypto market in the future. At the end of last year, around October to December 2017, I never expected that I could make $ 5000 only through bounty campaigns. all the encouragement to work on the bounty came because I was in need of money for college life fees, just like you.
