I really don't see any changes on the crypto in this last quarter continuous price drop has disappointed everyone in this forum and the market has crashed. I don't think there will be a bull run this year.

This is the last quarter and what do we have? Another great dump and I am not sure that 130 USD per Ethereum is the deepest point. There is absolutely no hope left for this year but maybe we will see another bull run during the next year.

I gave up the hope for a new bull run for 2018. At the current price collapse, i see no chance for a big prize increase. I think more and more, we have to wait another year or two for the next bull run and hope for the best in the crypto market. At the moment, it is just frustrating.

Never say never in cryptocurrency market, what seem to be dead may never die! Cryptocurrency is fluid and decentralized, you never can tell when the price will rise because some people in another part of the world may be gearing up to huy the market up!

I also do not think that the bulls will come, but I can not say it 100 percent. because you can't know anything in advance

Not everyone is disappointed and i am not one of those that is disappointed because of the present dip and the reason being that i was prepared for it. Only those who were nit prepared and were caught in the middle will feel disappointed.

Hope and optimism should never be adopted as a strategy to approach the cryotocurrency market.
It doesn't look good at the moment and considering the present situation this year would not see a bull run.

I think the most basic hope left for the last quarter of the year is wisdom
Be smart and don’t lose out totally if you can’t hodl for the longest time (I mean years )

So you need to focus on the basics and be smart
Always cash out when you are profit then you buy back the lows

No one can predict what will happen, the market can continue bleeding or prices can rise in only hours.
Let's hope for the best scenario.

The best hope for the last quarter of 2018 is to simply HODL all you can until things recover a bit in 2019.  It's really too bad and a tragedy if people invested more than what they could afford and are for some reason forced to sell at such low levels.  Stay strong if you can and wait until things recover back to the $7-10K bitcoin price range.

If we encounter the lowest dripping point at the moment, the bullrun is ahead. There is always a sinosoidal cycle in the cryptospace especially in the price of most altcoins. Expect that there will be a recovery after this long winter that we've experienced.

We are disappointed because we expected that a bull run will rise by the end of the year. But it seems that there's none so we are totally disappointed, aren't we allowed to expect it by next year? Let's just accept the fact that there will be no bull run for this year and all of those positive speculations aren't also expecting this to come. It's been a great year for those who are waiting for the bottom but not for those who are holding but congratulations to those who can hold until the next bull comes.

I dont think there will be a bull also in last quarter. You know bakkt also delayed their launch. So everyone will be sure about huge dumps. That is very painful for crypto market but we have to see these low levels for starting next bullrun. So no need to worry about.After bear bulls will come to the market. Soon or in the future but they will definetly come.

I am not sure that the price of coins will return to normal this year, I am only optimistic the beginning of the return of the glory of coins at the beginning of 2019, so I think it is very dangerous to invest now even though the price of coins is very cheap, worried that prices will continue to decline later this year

There are small traders too that are taking the time to short and they are taking profit in both ways. For holders, we can hold for the meanwhile and as we wait for the rise of the market.

For this year? its unlikely that we are about to see those high prices again. Right now though we are optimistic to the market, I'm not looking at that point that we are going to see it for a very short period of time.

The chances of seeing another bull run this year were very slim to begin with, you should've seen this coming months ago when the market sentiment turned bearish, and the cryptocurrency hype began to died down. Honestly, the only ones that were expecting a bull run this year were simply those who had no clue about how the cryptocurrency works.

Look at the bright side, no bull run this year means that the accumulation period will last a bit longer, and with the current drop in the prices there are some really good bargains in the market, some people are taking advantage of the situation before the next bullish cycle begins. If you can't afford to buy right now, just hold your coins and don't give in to panic selling.

Year 2018 is not yet over, there's one more month to go. We can't tell whether there will be a bull run or not this year. Most probably the much awaited bull run will be next year. But, how can we take advantage of the bearish market and the continuing decline on prices? Some would say day trading might somehow give profit. Some would say take advantage by buying coins now. Some would say hold your coins. These are thee options among the few you can do.

In every comment I happen to read,  many people are disatisfied  with the current situation and get easily frustrated wherein people is driven by their emotions and not able to to do the right decision making. Patience and understanding in the crypto market is what makes the other investors to become successful with their goal.

  The atmosphere on Crypto market is very cloudy... The sudden market movement creates a lot of depression, even Fear to some newbie in the Crypto market investment, but one should understand that Market is Very Volatile, anything can happen at any given time with out notice, It is how you understand the market, the Risk is always there, it goes with the market, and how you where able to handle such situation... some experts say, invest only what  you can afford to loss...

There will be no and it caused by the battle of bitcoin cash. we will not see another bullish trend on this year. that would probably next year. Don't expect a lot from this year and this just give us more opportunity to buy more and more cryptocurrency. no bull this year but yes for the next year

I have same opinion, i don't see any sign of bull market in this year. From the beginning of this year, cryptocurrency has gone to the bottom.
But this is cryptocurrency, we cannot predict the price because it is very fluctuating in the market.
This last quarter will be the last chance before 2018 become the bad year of the cryptocurrency.

I don't care when is bull run or it'll happen in this year or not right now, I just hope market don't crash anymore and bitcoin price rise back to $7K in the end of december, I think bitcoin cash hard fork is caused crypto market crash, anyway it's already happen, so just wait for 2019 is a better year

It is all planned. Somewhere, someplace people have invested billions, that money did not just disappear. If everyone would have stopped panic selling bitcoin would still be at the 15k range. DO NOT LET THE BULLS CONTROL THE MARKET.  They will dump less than 10% of what they own. And cash out at 25k. Follow the bears wait for the bulls.

I think it is giving us the last chance to fill our bags. I'm still hoping and being positive of having a bull run until EOM however it seems like we don't have that much time for greener pastures. It might next year we'll never know. There are many events that happened over the week but for me the most impacting was the hardfork.

I think there really isn't a bull run for the end of this year, so hopefully, the bull run will be saved for next year. It seems that crypto will still go down and give investors the opportunity to hoard it.

Yeah, I don't think there will be any bull run in this year. even if happens, im sure, price growth is not too high. I believe price will grow slowly in the next years.

The impact of such forks really affecting the market, as big whales really doing it deeper, this market are suffering and most of those weak and panic sellers are being move and make wrong decisions just to prevent sudden losses, and when the market completely bounce back, big whales are still the
benefactors of this massive movements, hope things can be alright and some good movements happen before this year will ends.

No more hope for us in the crypto space this year.
The entire opposite of 2017 happened this 2018.

Indeed, don't be too hopeful for the bull run will come more quickly. Last quarter hope is shattered now , December won't heal but will instead make the wound worst. Now the hope os only on new year.

Well maybe there's a hope on our expectations that the prices will rise up, or maybe there's nothing at all on this last quarter. No one knows when will the bull run is going to happen. So the best thing for us to do is to wait for it to happen. Just keep calm and invest more on the promising ICOs that will give us good profits.

Apparently last quarter hope is dashed, everyone is licking their wounds in cryptocurrency market. The truth of the matter is this, cryptocurrency has lots of potential aside price speculation of cryptocurrency asset in the market, we should focus on development of crypto!

Yes this is frustrating, I was waiting for last quarter from 6months the only hope was the price will go up but it is unbearable at this moment, also the value is still dropping which means there are is no stability. I have changed my plans now to Hodl again until the value reaches the reasonable price I am not going to sell.

Of course it will not, from an empty space it will not appear. We are waiting for stabilization first, and then support, and only then the bulls and the inflow of investments and everything else.

Crypto markets can be surprising.  We could see bitcoin triple in a month, it has happened in the past.  My main point is never say never.  Thats why I never advise shorting bitcoin because the momentum can change just like that.  Even if it doesn't soar up within the next month we still get an opportunity to accumulate more cheap coins.

We all know that as we have seen that happened before but this time seem to be the most devastating when funds are being withdrawn and we thought its been the bottom of it all so we were buying. ITs just disappointing to see that this dumps are orchestrated after the fork of BCH which the people behind it are the ones we thought are trying to prove how successful blockchain technology can be.

Yes, the real bull market is not visible in December, there may be another strong fall before the holidays. But all this will be decided not by us but by the whales who have a lot of money. Before the adoption of etf by logic, there must still be a huge fall in order for there to be a huge increase on this news.

It is very reasonable if you are pessimistic about the bull run this year, because for almost a year the crypto price has continued to decline, but seeing the history that happened last year, the bull run could happen at the end of the year, because last year Bitcoin could rise very high in 2 weeks time. so everything is still possible this year. The situations in the cryptocurrency market is so saddening to only those who have fixed their mind thinking that bull run always comes in the last quarter of the year, no daught the year 2018 have been a very challenging year for the entire cryptocurrency market but the fact still remains that we must take into account how volatile the market can be at every point. There is not any hope, man. We have totally bearish market which is not promising. I think that we could see another crypto-boom not earlier than in 2020, but there could be some outliers like Ripple in the recent months.

For last quarter hope all I could say is that do not expect too much from it or you will just be disappointed if it would not turn up to your expectation just like what most of crypto enthusiast had predicted that a bull run will start on October but until now where almost in December but there's still no signs of the coming bull run so maybe I could say that the bull had gone somewhere else.

Nope, to be honest, I do not see a bull run in q4 as well. I think it is sidewards movement or even a bear market in the future, but lets see I love that crypto is so unpredictable

Bull run this year? Definitely not. I don't think we will see some long and nice rally next year. Maybe some local pumps or bounces after short bear periods. The market needs to be completely forgotten by the masses for a strong bull run to be possible.

Just look the people who buy bitcoin last year where the price is at $20000 and the bull run was happen in the last quarter of that year. But, seems in this year it would not happen. Im so sad to the people who buy bitcoin last year because they really hope that the price of bitcoin last year become the price in this year.

In 2018, in my opinion there will be no positive changes regarding the price of coins in the market, because until today there are no signs that the price of coins will increase.

I always keep the spirit up in 2018 until these two weeks. Downfall in every cryptocurrency is huge and i dont think we'll catch the price levels even in second quarter of 2018 for years.

Certainly still will. Last year, the situation was also deplorable, but in the middle of winter it became much more interesting on the market. Also, many projects now simply do not collect anything, because what they took as an investment has now depreciated twice and the future of many projects is questionable.

There's no good factor that can make the market turns to bullish.
But as if the last quarter of this year is still not bull run, we can still hope the bullish come in the next year.

I agree. Unless some miracle happens, it will be too late for the bull run to happen because the price is too low and we only have less than two months for this year. I told most of my friends earlier that crypto bull run won't happen this December because the ETF is not yet approved and Sec stand is not yet clear, until that happens the market will keep going down and a little up. Let's hope for a better year ahead.

I wouldn't expect this year for the bull run to happen since a lot of FUD is going on at bitcoin and the altcoins are just affected of this FUD. Why don't you buy more since it is getting cheaper than the last time, perhaps you could earn a great value of profit if the bull run starts.

With all indications, the year 2018 is almost gone and a lot of people have predicted the last quarter to be the bull run quarter but with the look of things it seems everything is Falling apart but I am optimistic that anything can still happen this year.

Many got it wrong about December moon which I think has clear to everyone now but some might still be expecting bull run which I think not coming this year and even next as the bear just start and there will be some time for correction before we finally see bull.

I personally don't see a chance in 2018.I am making my plans accotding to my gut. I am no expert. But my gut says that this market will be like this for at least till  the last quarter of 2019.This is not fud. I will still be here.

Actually the price reduction of cryptocurrency does not only occur this year. 2017 or previous years have also happened. But the price increase occurred in that year. For 2018 there is no increase in prices. I think that this will change in 2019.

It will be quite difficult to recover from this latest crash this year. If BTC bounce back and reach the $ 6k level it will be a success. BAKKT launch is also rescheduled for 24th of January so we have to reschedule our expectation for bull run as well to next year.

Well, We do not know until the 2018 will end. Its very disappointing to see the market is in red but we can not so anything just to wait and see what 2018 could bring us. Yes you are right . I dont expect any bullrun also at the end of this year. Maybe we can expect some huge dump but definetly not a bull. In the future we will see that bullrun. I hope that in the end of year crypto will look more better and promote more legit project as the market has a good fluctuation because this is what they based for. When bull run comes then the launching of project continue to inrease.

you are right, bitcoin doesn't have a chance to create bullish this year. this year, bitcoin dropped very drastically, and never happened before.

but, if the battle ends at the end of this year, then BTC will recover quickly and will create bullish.

The problem is that the question is not about whether there will be a cryptocurrency growth this year, but whether there will ever be a rise or cryptocurrency forever lost its price.

I would say last month hope. In other case we have 1 year of strong falling. Can't believe that it is possible!
By the way crypto market tends to grow withing some weeks, so everything is possible

If that is how you are going to compare the price, then why not compare it with the price of previous years like 2017 and 2016? Look at the charts and you will see that the price is up by many times. Compare long term price and you won't be disappointed at all. You will see that we are still on the green zone. We might not see anything exceptional this year, but maybe next year. Just keep holding and your fingers crossed.

Yes, there is only one month left and I think that the crypt will not have time to recover in price before the end of this year. It is even possible that we will fall further and only at the beginning of 2019 will begin the recovery of the market.

We can't blame those who give up up and walk away in crypto just because of not meeting their expectation...the rise and fall of crypto in the market is something beyond our control but we can control our response to it, the only thing we can do is to hope and pray that somehow there is miracle or what you call movement and changes that will happen in it, and to be positively patient in all these things.

I agree with you, because this last quarter will end soon and there is not the slightest sign that a bull run will appear, instead there will be a continuous decline, so in my opinion even though the bull run will appear at the end of the year, it won't make a big change for the price, because the price has dropped so much.

I agree. Although it is hard to accept, the chances of having another bull run is almost zero. My basis is the current price and it is impossible to shoot up that high in a short period of time. Some ways what is happening right now can be considered as a market correction. It means that its on preparation for the bull run. If it bullrun happens, I think it will be next year - first quarter of the year 2019 will be good for us.  8)

There is no bull-run this year, but next year is possible. I have a strong belief in the future.

I think the market is in a state of recovery now at the moment. The price of most of the altcoins and bitcoin is now in green and we should expect more from it. Its time to buy now rather than to sell because I think we've already reached the lowest dip.

I think we can see a glimpse of hope now. I was checking on the market and it's price is increasing for all of the cryptocurrency.
So anytime soon, it should be able to steadily gaining it's previous level, or perhaps even surpass it.

It looks like the exchange will be very difficult to surprise in the final quarter of this year except for the continuing decline in crypto prices, I can only hope there will be positive changes early next year, so that it will encourage altcoin holders.

I expecting that we have a bullrun this year, but when bitcoin breaks its stabled value I guess 2019 will bullrun returns again but not like 2017's bullrun. If 2017 hit $20,000 then 2019 will hit $20,000 or less.

yes it is the last drama we saw after bitcoin fell back a few days ago. this is manipulation, try to see a few points that cause lower bitcoin. and I see the history of bitcoin from 2012 to today.

The whole idea is not about whether it is the last quarter or not. It is about giving bitcoin and any other cryptocurrency a chance at being used for good. The reason why there is so much to drop is because it is not used as it was intended to be. Too many are investing and holding it while there is not much about using it in real life. If atleast one person would use it daily as a currency then it is possible that it will increase back in just a matter of days to what once was its all time high. This is what I am expecting about and hoping someday it will.

What I have learned in this year is sometimes holding your coins for a couple of months is not really profitable like this year Im holding since December 2017 and some of my holdings are skyrocketed in first quarter this year but I decided to hodl hoping for more 15x value this 4th quarter but Im wrong If i just sell my coins last January and buy again this quarter I have tripled my holdings now but we cannot lose hope what if next year will change everything?

I don't see bull run happening this year any more, the much hoped bakt exchange launch that many think would make the price of market to go up has been postponed until next year January ending, so bull run for this is not that possible in my own opinion. Let's hope next year would be better.

Still i am hoping for a big change for this quarter, and at the beginning of 2019 crypto will be more popular to all country that makes all coins will increase the value to gives more profit to all of us. Keep calm all things will be better at the right time.

I don't think we've already reached the lowest dip at the moment. We will still wait further until it is reached and then hope for the spike and bullrun to come ahead. Do not sell you coins since the price is low at the moment. Maybe early next year the bullrun will come.

This year is not good for crypto because there's no rise even a little but I'm still hoping for this last quater because there's possibility it might rise. I hope there will be no more collapse in the crypto market. we can see the market falling very deep, I don't understand if the market will fall again. hope that doesn't happen. the rest of this year I just want to see the market grow carefully, at least that makes our assets safe.

I had Hope because of certain predictions that spoke about the interest of Wall Street and heavy industry in large volumes of transactions for 2019. It was this that should have attracted a large amount of investment, but I recently saw information that said that Wall Street was disappointed in cryptocurrency. The last quarter did not give a big price to everyone. But the price of coins only increased very little because until now the market had not shown signs of a surge. I think the Bull increase will occur in 2019.

Last 2 days of my hope and I can say that crypto market was dumped for 12 months, so there wasn't increase and to my mind the longer crypto is falling, the more probability is for a growth

Last bull brought the most impatient investors to the market, they'll probably all dump before we start going up again.
This allows you to buy low and sell high, and the market is predictable. Even if you lost money, there's reasons to be optimistic.

Patterns repeat itself but there are dozens of quarter for past years. I have no idea which quarter you gonna to choose for comparison. Speculating the potential activity in market looks like gambling to me. I prefer to follow smart money rather than get stuck in dumb money flow.

The changes will now be smooth. Sharp jumps most likely won't be any more. We will gradually move up or down. To me it is the downfall of many upset, but do not despair and lose faith. Soon everything can be restored.

It seems that the bearish market will break December 2018, maybe until mid-January 2019. If we look at the optimism of forum members, many are trying to keep crypto prices from falling deeper, but on the other hand we also see signs of pressure on crypto prices as if they intentionally confuse market conditions.

I had a hope for last quarter, but now there is no hope to my regret. So my next hope is for 1st quarter of 2019. This is what I am ready to achieve, growth in 2019!

Today is December 30 and as we see the bull run has not started. With the beginning of the new year, I think nothing will change. But I believe that closer to the summer of can begin movement upward.

It seems that there will no longer be a last quarter hope because within hours, 2019 will come and the market is still on bloody state. What happened last year gave many people an idea that this year would be bigger but it definitely appeared to be the opposite of their expectations. Therefore predictions for next year is not clear yet so be careful.

The last quarter of 2018 has passed, it seems that nothing happens to the cryptocurrency market, the price of the market is still very low, I hope 2018 will be the worst year of cryptocurrency and it will be the lowest bottom for 2019.

Last quarter hopes was much as compared to whole year . It has risen and reached 4200$ which was the time of it had continued market would have rise and crossed today 7-8 k easily and would have being a best thing to happen at that point of time and people would have being more happy .

The last quarter of 2018 ended up bearish for market but it provided a hope that there will be something better in this new year. There are announcements last year on some events that will happen this year, like the ethereum fork and BAKKT launching in this first quarter. These events may put the prices in the crypto market into a postive growth temporarily.

So as the last quarter of 2019 , and everyone thought that 2020 will follow but not, because breakthrough comes and now we are humping up and up.

We still cannot be certain on any prediction we make here, we will just keep on disappointing ourselves as we keep on hoping that on a certain time or a certain moment, the market will recover once again. We need to understand how long it took for the market to recover once again after the long time of dumping. Once things get settled from bitcoin with regards to the issues it is currently facing, everyone will surely enjoy seeing lots of new all time highs that would exceed our expectation so just be patient because no matter how long it will take, the market has no other direction but to keep on going up in the next few years.

Last night's pump renews my new ATH bullish hope for the last quarter. Taking into account that after Summer holidays many people will now have easy access to crypto, many more know about it, and more and more Governments and companies accept it as a means of payment (the next one possibly being Amazon, which would have a huge impact in adoption I guess), we could see a surge like the one we witnessed in 2017 (or before, but sorry, I can't remember as I am class 2017).

Agree with you, thats why i keep spend almost 50% from my salary to invest on this field because i believe cryptocurrency will going bigger every year and i think this is the last year for us to see many of big coins still on the lowest price.

It's not necessary for us to recover last prices but we're just hoping here that it changes eventhough how small was fluctuated as long we earn profit then that's enough. There's more time for that to recover ,don't just be greedy because anytime can having a chances to repeat.

Theres a lot of good signal from many source who predict last quarter gonna be big and we were facing another big bull run. I think we're not gonna see another bloodbath like 2018 because we're in diferrent situation, right now there so many big influencer, artist and government who jump into crypto so it not gonna be drop like 2018. I share your point of view that Bitcoin and other top crypto are in the global bullish market, so it always takes new heights. But nobody can know, in terms of crypto, everything is possible. Even lower prices of fundamental currencies. But I will be happy then to make my average price even lower. Nevertheless, I just stick to the strategy of investing a fixed percent of my salary every month, so as not to regret bad prices.

Nowadays especially this week is such an amazing week. The price of bitcoin is increasing so much, almost half of its price of last month. The hope is still there because I personally think bitcoin price will increase day by day and lets spread the joy of it.
