Title: Real14Hero scam reporting
Post by: tracyspacy on November 22, 2018, 04:56:27 PM
What happened:
I borrowed Real14Hero 0.03 btc on 06.11.2018, he had to repay 0.0335 btc on 20.11.2018, but didn't do that. Someone from Real14Hero account states that he/she has bought it on 20.11.2018 and refuses to pay money back.

Thanks GOD I have not been scammed. I also wanted to give the loan. While I tried to research of his/her staked address I saw you sent BTC. Then stopped also few days ago again asked loan to me via pm then I asked either s/he repaid or not. Then I came to know that loan has not been paid. His/her another scam accusation: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5073290
I am very much surprised how a hero member can loss his/her account for only 150$?

Note to the new user: If you purchase the account then you have to pay all the due of the account. And even if you give payment, as account trade highly discourage you might get negative trust by DT.

Note to The OP: You have mentioned already negative tagged. By seeing that DT may not go to profile. I think you should remove that part sothat DT goes to the scammer's profile and give a negative tag. Also please send the scam accusation link to the scammer sothat s/he can know about the case.

So there were few simultaneous scam attempts from him...

I have informed person currently staying for Real14Hero account about that.

Have edited initial post accordingly and deleted info about negative tag.

I couldn't find new owners account r14he.

Not really. If they sold account for 150$, took 200$ loan and sold not valid code for 350$ that is 700$.

OP how about taking collateral next time to avoid being scammed and don't blindly trust random stranger just because they have high ranked account?

You are right. I mentioned current price of the loaned amount. And I saw that scam accusations but not enough that's why didn't count that. From both person and selling account "Real14Hero" scammed total 200+700+account sold amount.

@r14he sounds like a Telegram username, but it doesn't exist either. The search shows @r14hee as a possibility.

Scammers always change their id. In this case new username might be: @r14hee or sent a wrong username or changed to something else.

Whatever you paid was too much... That account is now pretty much ruined by scam accusation and freely admitted as being a traded account.

Account trading isn't forbidden... But a lot of the DTs see it as untrustworthy due to the large number of traded accounts that end up scamming or spamming.

It's likely that it will now be tagged for both of these things.

i bought this account
Can you explain why? Now that you've admitted it, I'd like to use this opportunity to get some insights in the mind of account buyers.
What did you pay for it? Were you planning to use it for signature earnings? Did you plan to keep the new ownership a secret? How did you get in touch with the seller?

Can you post that address which you have sent me in PM? I checked it and it is empty, unless I missed or mistyped character.

Yes, it is possible. Real14Hero already received negative trust so s/he can do any abuse. But I think DT can take action if there is proof against receiver. Real14Hero sent someone 19 merit doesn't mean that they are alt accounts or did merit trading. It would be better for DT to tag receiver if you can provide more info regarding merit abuse or having alt account.

It is such a big rank account and no one here is tagging it for being a bought account? Oh this is bad, people you should take more care, a loan default can still scam..

It looks like I found the one (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5199507.) who bought the Real14Hero account.

Given the fact that the buyer is already known, it is clear that in addition to participating in the bounty, this account was bought to promote a project that belongs to the buyer.
