I think most people are so focused on buying cheap TV's and notebooks and they are missing out on the biggest Black Friday discount of all.

Get your cheap bitcoins at $4000+ today and your reward and profit will come when we hit $20 000 in a couple of months from now. I think a lot of people are dumping coins on cheap consumer goods today and they are flushing potential profits down the drain.

I hope this will serve as a reminder that the Bitcoin price is at it's lowest point in months and people should not be spending too many coins on crappy Black Friday specials that they might regret, when the price goes up again in the near future.  ;)

Nothing wrong with some optimism, right?

with cheap goods and we sell the bitcoin that we have to buy the goods I feel is very detrimental, and we should hold back the bitcoin or other coins that we have until waiting for prices to rise again.

Optimism is certainly not wrong, but I do not agree with blind optimism.
This year is because of too many blind optimism, and someone even said that Bitcoin will reach 25,000 US dollars at the end of the year, this is exaggerated predictions without any analysis,  which is irresponsible misleading，this will only make people feel more disappointed after the bad reality.
We certainly need some optimism, but it must be cautiously optimistic.

People should also not be overly pessimistic too, because a lot of people are building their hopes on unrealistic predictions like that. Nobody can accurately predict the price of bitcoins in the future, but we can work with the facts that we have now. The technology has improved a lot since last year, when we had scaling issues. <Prior to SegWit and the Lightning Network>

We see an increase in adoption of these new additions <SegWit & LN> and business are constantly adding Bitcoin as a payment option. There are also some countries that are not waiting for the US <SEC> to allow institutional investors to start investing in Crypto currencies. <Like the Swizz>  ;)

I see a bright future for Bitcoin and I want to stock up on cheap coins, before this happens globally.  8)

What's giving Bitcoin a bad reputation are overblown predictions of a boom that are proved wrong, creating the impression that Bitcoin investors don't know what they are talking about. This will scare other people off.


People were telling us how cheap Bitcoin was at $10,000, and that we should 'fill our boots'. Those who bought in then have lost over half of their money.

So far, those who were pessimistic earlier in the year have been more accurate than those who predicted a quick recovery.

Earlier on in the year people were claiming that Bitcoin always goes down at this time of year, and that it would moon at the end of the year. We're nearing the end of the year, and where is the moon?

Yes its true that Black Friday it partly the cause of this current market drop
and that the best deal today and for cyber monday is definitely Bitcoin.

Any consumer item bought tiday is going to loose value but Bitcoin will gain
in value.

On the other hand there is still plenty of transactions for the miners to earn from
and that also keeps Bitcoin ticking along.

I don't think Bitcoin has no bright future. I just stressed that we should not make any unrealistic predictions or advocacy.
What we should do now is to promote the advantages of Bitcoin to attract people, instead of using exaggerated rates of return to attract people to speculate. In my opinion, any statement that makes big money by investing in Bitcoin is wrong. This is out of the essence of Bitcoin.
We need people to really fall in love with Bitcoin, not to fall in love with the benefits behind Bitcoin!

This is a one time opportunity in my honest opinion. Price could go lower, but do you want really miss a chance to buy bitcoin a 4000$ ? last year it took few days more than one month to spike from 6k to 20k.

I had been optimistic for a while, in fact I have been trying to make everyone around me positive about bitcoin.
But the latest price drop has taken a toll on me.
Waiting for that 20k rise again.
 

Lol, looks like a Black Friday for the bitcoin, but will we get even better price, time will tell, and I think we can buy BTC at even better price than it is now.

A very long bear if next year is included. It might be included but don't think of it and give space for recovery.

Those who are purchasing cheap TV's, gadgets, etc due to black friday sale. Let them do what they want, optimism is okay as said but right now people are losing confidence that the market will recover. Let them decide what they really wanted. Bitcoin is money for smart people that believe its future. We know the drill as this moment, we are confident on where bitcoin is going to bring us.  ;)

It certainly looks funny, but the whole cryptocurrency has become cheaper by Black Friday. Let's hope that after a black Friday there will be no "discounts". ;)

How can you sure about the price in a couple of months from now?

I think people need to get more knowledge about this space and stop building castle in the air for some baseless prediction and exaggerations. It's really sad how people just want to come and make money in the shortest while and run away. Things don't work like this.  Let things follow their normal way of growth with real life usecases and things will be more better.  Now we are suffering from unrealistic imagination and greed of last pump action.  People need to be patient and learn. Good things take time.

The price of Bitcoin really is very cheap now. Maybe the price may drop a little lower, but you don't hesitate to invest in something you know will rise.

Indeed black Friday has an advantage for investors who dare to take this opportunity, but all of this seems to be a game. Actually, we still don't believe in this but we will see the developments that occur so that we will know the truth.

Good reminder OP, every Bitcoin price dip is a good time to buy. This black Friday price is so far the lowest from the beginning of the year. It is a pity not to buy if we have spare cash.

I think selling bitcoin at 4k $ isn't a black market since 4k is the price bitcoin is selling currently. So by selling at that price, that is not a black Friday market. To sell something on a black market means selling that particular thing at a price lower than it is being sold.

You got a point that many people should do right now but many in the community are needing to spend their money right now because of the season, But they can not let it pass the good opportunity in a black Friday sale today, especially when they can double the opportunity they had not only with bitcoin but in other cryptocurrencies as well,

Well, Aside from this I think they need to have a couple of money for cryptocurrency and a side money for the holidays so they can surely mop in earnings when the coins pump again and we can not predict when it can happen so we should be always prepared.

The whales now are really capitalizing on everyone taking out money for the Holidays, so Bitcoin will drop further in my books. I see us going sub 4k USD very soon and I doubt in 2018 we will see any big bounce back. We are now going to go through a long bear winter of probably another year of lowest lows for this market cycle and maybe the end of 2019 going into 2020 we might see brighter days. Now the days are bright for those with spare funds to buy Bitcoin and a host of other cheap coins and tokens. I see the CMC next target to go to around 100 billion market cap, taking away two years of profits form the markets.

I agree with the author that from the beginning of 2019, Bitcoin will start to grow rapidly and if you want to make money on this, then you need to invest your money in Bitcoin now

Holding off on buying more Bitcoin at the moment, I'll probably buy in when I see us moving towards an uptrend again.

This is the best Black Friday + Christmas combined deal we have seen this year. It's a serious opportunity to grab bitcoins at dirt cheap rates.

Except, the reality is totally different. You said it would bounce up above $20k in 2 months which is hypothetical.

Yes it will drop more end of this year, If we are lucky we can see bitcoin at 2800$ the bottom, good price to buy it back and be ready for the next bull run next years!

Its a strong attitude to have at times like this but also very important. Hopefully, Bitcoin price recovery will be with us soon and the patience will all be worth it.

I get the irony. But normally on Black Friday you buy goods cheaper. But what will you say if Bitcoin will fall even lower. Next strong support is at 3400-3500. How will you explain that? :P ??? ;D

In my little opinion, its hard to say but that's the truth, Black Friday should be judiciously use for making wealth/ gains than spending to that which doesn't bring profit either now or in the future. Buy Bitcoin on this Black Friday special at the rate of 4,000$ can rise a profit of 50% than to squander the money unnecessarily.

Many mining farm are actually closing. Be smart, they can't close al, or bitcoin will go to zero. Biggest farms can't mine in loss, and 4k price is very, very low. Be smart and understand that also this 4000 is temporary, and it can't stay too much at this low price.
